Walked in to Ferguson plumbing, in which Home Depot refered me to. I was playing plumber at my Grandsons in Temple City when I checked under the kitchen sink and saw the pipe out of the wall in which the drain connects to was rotted out. The lower pipe along the bottom was missing, corroded, and eatened up. Lucky for them the gentleman behind the counter helped me. He saved my future daughter-in-law and her Mom a lot of money. And of course, I saved them close to $300.00 in labor. So, the moral of my story is to ask questions, be at the right place,with the right person, and they will set you up with the right price for your repairs.
