This ia the worst place to try to send money..not only is there only 1 teller that I swear show moved slower then a nail, she let people cut in front of us. Im assuming theyre employees which I understand but when ur taking ur sweet time and just talking away like she had no regards and was not aware that the line was getting longer and longer it just blows my mind how can still have a job working in a customer service driven position.

For sure they are doing the good for the best of GODS kingdom.

You do have to wait a long time to order food. Even if no one is ahead of you sometimes. The ladies are sweet but do ignore you a lot and do take their time to make your order.

I had to wait 30 minutes just to place a order although only two people ahead of me. They tend to ignore you if youre not Spanish. Gave me the dried out end of the beans I asked for different beans but they said thats all they had witch I believe because he had to work really hard to scrape the pan to get enough to make two carna asada burritos . I waited 8 minutes just to pay for the food .today . I dont think I will go backat 5:30

We bought their homemade sandwich rolls shaped like footballs .& they were so delicious and soft. Even when lightly toasted that someone w/ no teeth can eat them. And their produce is always fresh and affordable.

Food is good, but the staff literally doesnt care about the people in line. Just waited 20 minutes in line for tacos, was NEXT in line (finally) and the cashier skipped me entirely and took the next person even though i was literally telling her that I was next in line. So, if you go dont expect much in the way of customer service.

Our trip here was great. Cardenas is a grocery store with a bakery & meat dept. It has a little bit of everything. Everyone is pretty nice & friendly when greeted. Came in for a few groceries. They even have pre-made hot food & drinks! Fresh salsas, tortillas & hot tamales! :)

Lots of food items to look at,plenty of fresh hand made ready to eat selections, staff seems friendly enough for what they do,got in and out in good time.

Loving the fact that now now individually wrap the assortment of fresh baked bakery breads and desserts. Not only does it make it more safe/sanitary, but keeps them super soft. We really love it. One downside is their produce department. Its hit or miss most times we go. A few times now they have fruits or vegetables that are not good quality out. I went in for spinach and they were wilted and looked like they had been eaten by bugs.

This Cardenas is a nice clean store and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Purchased over a dozen tamales and they were all undercooked with slimy, creamy masa that was deteriorating on the ends with hardly any meat. Whoever made them really didnt put any care into them. Worst of all I live an hour out. Won’t be trusting this franchise again

Yes the prices are more affordable the quality of the vegetables are hit-and-miss but the checkout lines are what really hurt this place. The lines are always extremely long.

I ordered a birthday cake for my son in April. It was a TREC LECHES CAKE. The cake is a special treat.The cakes taste and composure are different from a basic cake. Its very moist and near the bottom layer of the cake it gets a little hard to serve but its worth it. Ours was topped with fresh fruit and the icing was more like cool whip. I dont speak Spanish but every single employee there were fluent in English and Spanish. The Bakery Dept. was AWESOME and so was the cashier. The food that is prepared is Authentic and always fresh. Things seem to be over priced but it seems that when a certain store caters to a specific Ethnic group it happens, which is a shame. I will continue to get my baked goods from Cardenas. I hope the staff get a chance to read this, you guys are doing a great job. Thanks💙😊

It is disappointing coming here, no matter what time of the day you come in the lines are always extremely long. They have so many cash register and they always only have 2 to 3 open. I come here because there are things I cant find at other stores but their long wait times make me double think myself every time. I take longer at the line than shopping 😒

It was a nice experience. I needed help finding items and the staff was very nice. I picked up the most amazing tamales. Chicken and cheese. They are so good.

You would think that being Hispanic store and having Hispanic customers you will be treated better but now its the other way around. Its always like this.

I just love to go to this place it always is kept organized and very clean. As for the employees checkers The Young Ones need a little more training and how to treat people maybe a smile and a hello go long ways

The employees are extremely rude and refuse to answer any questions we had. Even when thanking them and saying have a nice day we were ignored and given a look of disgust as if how dare we even talk to them. Tried to buy an item where the UPC code wouldnt scan and because they didnt want to deal with it said I just can sell you this. It ended up working in our favor because we found it cheaper somewhere else. Plus I bought a lot of the overly priced tamales, because I simply couldnt make them this year, and I ended up throwing them all away. It was so nasty that I couldnt even give it to my family. My friend and I will never be going there ever again.

I found everything I needed to make my tacos Tijuana style the beef .tortillas .guacamole salsa. Onion. Cilantro. And you cant forget the beer.

Full service Mexican grocery store. Fresh baked sweet bread from the bakery, very decent birria and carnitas available at the kitchen which also serves combo meals and most exciting, they have a giant tortilla machine that runs often and is set against a big window so kids can watch. The parking lot can be dodgy, and the prices arent amazing, but you wont find cucumber agua fresca and hot, crispy carnitas at the local Walmart.

I find many things to buy here. Awesome bakery with fresh goods daily. They have a tortilla factory making an assortment of fresh items. You can have a meal since they have a kitchen with almost anything you can think of. The market has a meat counter, fresh produce, fresh salsa, guacamole, and much more! Im never dissappointed. Always well stocked with plentiful items I come home happy every time. Not all the staff speaks English but there are enough to help in case you need assistance.

We reserve 2 cakes and we paid before getting the cake we came to pick them and and they didnt have the cakes..

It was ok. But I well say they were not In forcing 100% face covers. There was quite a few people with out face covers and too many people in the store.

Great and fresh vegetables at greatest prices in the area; very polite personnel so Happy to serve their customers. Lots of over the border goodies at affordable prices. Finally the place where I can exercise my Italian and feel like home- but not asked to go back to Italy!

It is a nice place for shopping. Good variety of ptoducts. They have a small restaurant inside. Dairy products. Mexican pastry. The only down is that sometimes there is not enough cashiers to check out and lines are long. Overall a nice place.
