The salesman I worked with, Samer Alshaar, did an outstanding job with the overall process. Being new to Volvo, he was able to educated me on the company, the vehicle I was looking to possibly lease, and why become a Volvo customer. After the paperwork was signed and financing complete, he did an amazing job at educating me on all of the bells and whistles on the vehicle and the important safety features that Volvo is known for. I am about 2 plus weeks into having my new 2022 XC60 FWD INSCRIPTION and loving it!

Not the best service I had, not the worst. I dropped my car for maintenance last Saturday, they said i can get my car back on Tuesday (longer than usual because I have a minor prob that needs parts ordered), but they didnt call me at all on Tuesday, instead I had to call them twice just to know that my car isnt going to be ready until Wednesday. I mean guys, just a call would solve the problem. Their customer expectation management needs practice. Apart from the complimentary manufacture maintenance, I paid about 650 for tire rotation, all wheel alignment, and two rear brake pads replacement, which I think is alright. Though i think my previous Marin volvo dealer service is much better... they have private driver sending you home and picking you up for free, more reasonable price and less customers in line.
I went to many dealers and test drove many different cars in the same class as Volvo XC40 (gas). Stevens Creek Volvo by far was the most pleasant and attentive to our needs. They had a nice inventory and I was able to find the car I wanted. My salesperson Sami was terrific - patient and knowledgeable. Love my new Volvo!

A terrible customer service for their Service Dept. Dropped my car on Thursday at 7:00 AM. I was told would receive a call on my service same day. No calls. No calls on Friday. Left 4 messages for the service manager Jim and the Service advisor Dennis. No call backs either. Saturday neither the service manager, nor the general manager of the site are available. We have no call on what the status is of our 2019 Volvo in for a regular service. Why would such a place be in business ?
We made a 2 and a half hour drive to look at a particular used car they had. Everyone we encountered at the dealership was great to deal with. We purchased the car, but were unable to take it with us that day due to some plans that we had. The salesman that helped us, Sam, met up with us a few days later half way between San Jose and where we live. It was even on his day off. Sam was awesome! Would highly recommend him if you are in the market for a new vehicle.
I really like our Service Advisor Jamie Hinds, she has always been very sweet she knows my car is my baby and I dont allow anyone to wash my car buy myself. Last visit she stated NO Wash right and I laugh yes just washed and wax my car. Came back to pick up my car it look like someone pour something all over it and let it dry in the sun, Jamie was on the phone with another customer I was really upset jump in my car went home and had to rewash my car. Everytime I bring my car in it is spotless one time when I brought my car in for regular maintenance who ever work on my car drop something on the front of the hood and put a large dent needless to say I was so made I started crying. The sad thing was no one step up admitting to it and no one walk around to inspect the car before I pick it up, my husband and I had to point it out. They did fix it but the factory shine is not on that spot and I see it every time I walk by. To tell you the truth I am now looking for a new volvo service to take my car to.
I had a great experience with AutoNation when buying my new to me car. It was very easy to fill out documents and upload info online prior to our meeting. The car is beautiful and the price was just right. Financing was made easy worth zero stress and we got a great monthly payment. Overall, we were very happy with our purchase and I recommend them for your next vehicle.
My sales consultant Abdul was great. It was my first time purchasing a Volvo so he clearly explained to me to the different trims and options for each XC90 and showed me different cars. Auto Nation Volvo gave me a fair deal on my trade and had multiple cars in stock that met my specifications. I went with a XC90 Plug in hybrid and couldnt be happier.

I bought my car through a broker and there was a mechanical snafu so couldn’t receive the car on the day promised. That said, Alana and Diego at Auto Nation made the experience smooth! They brought the paperwork to my house, delivered a loaner car (same make/model) and kept in touch with me about delivery time of the actual new car. Once the mechanical issue was fixed, they hand delivered my new car to my home! Easiest car purchase I’ve ever done!
We recently purchased a used car and received AAA class service from Samer Alshaar through the whole process. He promptly replied to an online inquiry about the car to introduce himself and answer our questions. His followup emails were short, helpful and appropriate in timing after my replies. Sam asked questions and offered insight to the process for reviewing the car, which was still in process of being prepped for test driving. I spoke with him on the phone to arrange the test drive. Sam is articulate, good humored, and knowledgeable. I felt confident in his sales knowledge and customer service skills. We enjoyed meeting him at the dealership as he handled our inspection, test drive, and initial paperwork. The staff led by Alana is equally as professional and courteous as Sam. The transaction to purchase was conducted as efficiently as possible. We felt it was AAA class service ... even for purchasing a used, non-Volvo car!

Im taking the time to write this in hopes that the Auto Advisor Sang will see this, and that it will help other people especially women. The check engine light came on in my truck and after I took it to the dealership for the needed repair I found myself back at the dealership approx. 4 days later. On my second trip I worked with Sang and because of him my experience was the best experience Ive had at a dealership. Often times as a woman going into a dealership we are overlooked, talked over, talked at, not fully informed(meaning... this is whats going on, pay it and you can get your car, have a good day) or is this your husbands car. Well my experience with Sang made me feel like I mattered, my concerns mattered, he listened, he made notes, he talked to me as if I was a friend and he wanted the best for me. Sang followed up with me, he gave me beneficial advice, he kept me in the loop, he explained things to me, and he made me feel like I was being given the best service instead of being brushed/ rushed. I voiced to him in person how much I appreciated his service to me and that I couldnt thank him enough. This writing is in hopes that he see I took time like he did for me to show my appreciation and let others know how nice of an Advisor he is. Thank you Sang for all you did for me, your character as a person showed and Im sending all the best wishes your way. I also want to thank the service manager Jim because it started with him. I cant imagine his busy schedule but he paused his day to speak with me about my concerns seeing that I was back in his dealership after approx.4 days. He stated he would put my vehicle with his veteran technician and find the problem. I didnt get the techs name but thank him too.

Excellent service! After having such a dismal experience at Walnut Creek Volvo (where I bought my car from), I decided to take my XC90 somewhere else to be serviced. I called AutoNation Volvo San Jose and they were so quick to get me in for an appointment. They fixed my brakes and fully serviced my car the following day. The technicians and service team were so helpful and friendly. I will definitely not hesitate to return!

I need to get a key made for my 1989 Volvo 244, after being juggled around for a bit through the automated system I was sent to the retail parts department. I gave them my Vin number to the representative (Dave) and he ran the number for me and got me the key code so I could go get the key made. He gave me a direct number to call so I wouldn’t have to deal with the robocall when trying to get ahold of him which made the experience a breeze. As someone who hates calling any kind of service that has a robotic system, Dave made the process a cake walk and the whole experience a breath of fresh air in dealing with customer service. 10/10 Dave’s a gentleman and a scholar. My faith has been restored in Volvo even though I own a 32 year old car.

Jessica M, the general manager, was outstanding. We bought a car out of state and when it arrived the rims were scratched and not up to our expectation. When we approached her she was more than willing to work with us and worked with local dealers to get them fixed. She was very responsive from the beginning through the end, including after sale support. Her customer service skills are superior. We would definitely buy from her again.
We arrived for our appointment on Friday morning and our sales experience went very well. Our sales person was knowledgeable, helpful and positive. However, communication was poor during the very slow purchase and financing processes. It took over 3 hours to complete the purchase AFTER we committed to the car. Over 2 of those hours were after we completed the finance application and had negotiated discounts. We love the car and got a great deal, but we should have walked out. Dont believe them if they tell you Fifteen minutes, tops.

Well, I mean...I dont know if they still have some pandemic rules, like needing an appointment to look at cars, but I could not get anyone to even ask me what I was there for. I was looking to see a particular Volvo SUV in a particular color, so my spouse and I could make a decision on buying it. Not a single salesperson, employee, no one acknowledged me at all, so I was left to look around on my own. I had legitimate questions and a legitimate reason to be there. Weird.
Service department was ridiculously backed up (why even make an appointment?) but Harvey was super courteous and did everything he could to move things along.
Nice people, but prohibitively expensive service. I brought my 2014 Volvo XC60 in for a handful of minor items, plus one recall. Because of the exorbitant estimates, I left with only the recall (seatbelt) being performed. Replacing the drivers side visor - $385. Updating software per two bulletins - $250 (battery draining prematurely) and $385 (jerky transmission). Trailer hitch installation - $1,800. This is why I take my car to Bradz Motor Works for all regular maintenance and repairs. He is straightforward, honest, and reasonable/fair in pricing.

Quick and easy. Bought a used CPO 2018 Volvo XC90 and it was very smooth and an easy process. Diego Sanchez sold me the car and Alex in finance handled the rest. I had the car shipped from San Jose to LA and took 2 days. Would go back to them in a heartbeat.

Took my XC90 in for 40K maintenance.Service Associate (Sing) was GREAT ... no pressure, easy to work with, friendly, on time, great communication ...Unfortunately the mechanic forgot to tighten some bolts under the engine. When I got on the freeway the car made a terrible sound ... made me very uncomfortable ... had to drive back to dealership at 20 MPH with hazard lights blinking ... NOT fun. Turns out the mechanic did not tighten all bolts, but left me very nervous about what else he/she forgot!!The extra time to go back to have the issue resolved caused me to be late for a scheduled appointment ... very frustrating.5/29/2021

Shady sales practices. I put a deposit on a special car, and had to make a tough call between a good A-plan discount, and a trip to Sweden + the Overseas Delivery Discount. The A-Plan discount was bigger so I went with that. Waited 8 months, during which the dealership neglected to provide any build data which they had promised to send me. When I went in to purchase the vehicle I was told that starting this month, the A-Plan negotiation free pricing is not offered on this Model, which is already a lie because it is available on all other trims of this model. The sales manager tried to imply that this is a Volvo policy, but the documents he showed me clarified that it is up to the dealer to determine which models are excluded from the A-Plan pricing.Lured in with A-Plan pricing, changed their own policy at the last minute to only exclude the rare model that I had ordered (V60 T8 Polestar Engineered), and prevented me from taking advantage of the alternative OSD discount with a trip to Sweden. I have never been so angry in my life. I will never do business with this dealership.
We were looking for the perfect family car on our strict criteria (Safety first, high-end design & details, of course), so our only question is which Volvo dealership will be the best. (Not which brand) Despite of our continuous requests, Mr. Yoon Shin kept trying to match our expectation, and provided us great deal on our new Volvo. I had an awesome experience buying a new XC40. The entire experience was seamless, from my initial request of a test drive to taking the keys. The entire staff was helpful, honest, and worked well as a team. The team answered every one of my questions and was quick to follow up after receiving an email or call from me. The car was fairly priced (good value compared to other Bay Area Volvo dealerships), and my trade in was fairly valued. I would be happy to buy another car from AutoNation Volvo!

The Check Engine light in my 2019 XC90 was lit so I got an appointment the next day. The Service Advisor, Harvey processed the service request. The issue was resolved a few hours later. Was pleased with the timely service and prompt call that my XC90 ready. Thank you.
This place sold me a lemon. I bought a used car from this dealership, and the check engine light came on the day after I took the car home. I called and emailed with no response, so now Im stuck with an expensive diagnosis and repair problem. The dealership obviously cleared the check engine light without fixing the problem just to make it pass inspection. You buy from a dealer expecting everything will be done above board and within the law, but I guess this place gets away with this shady business. I would highly recommend thinking twice before buying a car from this place, once they get your money they run.Edit: After posting this review they did, with some reluctance, pay for the part to fix the issue with the car, and the engine light is no longer on. Its unfortunate that you have to post a bad review online for them to pay attention and do the right thing, but they did eventually do it in the end.

Moneer and Alex were efficient and friendly, and Moneer did extra legwork after the sale to find out how to reset the oil service light, which they had forgotten to turn off before turning the car over to me. Buying a car from Autonation Volvo was pretty easy and I would do business with them again, and would recommend to others.

She keeps me updated on the status of my vehicle, via text or phone call. If I have questions about the priority of repairs, she answers all of my questions - weve even drawn a diagram or two.
