Give it 4/5 stars only because took my car in for service, oil change and left window not coming down as safety issue. The salesperson recommended I rotate tires at $45 instead of fixing my window which I have to now come back another day, costing me time and money. What happened to going above an beyond? $95 for an oil change, is the oil like special, especially since I have to change it every 3-6 months according to how many calls I get to remind me. Still love my Outback! If only the service department focused on customer needs I would take my car back more often.
I had my 120,000 mile maintenance done here last Wednesday. I received my car back in the evening and was told my car checked out great and there are no issues to be aware of. Ten minutes from the dealership on the freeway, I am in rush hour traffic and my Subaru breaks down in the middle lane of the 280. I had to call 911 and was only able to get off the freeway after 20 minutes of being terrified for my life, because a concerned citizen ran across the freeway and helped me push my vehicle to the shoulder across three lanes of busy traffic. After an hour of the initial breakdown, a Subaru technician drove to where I was, and thankfully fixed the issue, stating that sometimes after this certain service the vehicle can stall if not driven for several miles after service.I contacted Stevens Creek Subaru multiple times multiple days before getting in touch with a manager, despite being assured by staff that someone would be reaching out to speak to me about this incident as soon as they could. When I did get on the phone with a manager, I relayed my traumatic incident and was told all they could do for me was recheck the vehicle free of charge. I paid over a grand for service at a dealership for what I was hoping was going to be quality service. Instead, I had a terrifying and preventable experience immediately after being serviced with little reparation. I could have been hit on the freeway or the man who helped me could have been hit. I will not be coming back here.
10/10!Honestly everything went so smooth from behind to end, when leasing our car:Got updated all the time while waiting for our car to arrive, and were expected when picking it up so the process was very easy.Sam, Taz & William helped us and they answered all of our questions, braked down all the numbers and went into detail about the documents we were signing.Overall everyone is so nice, honest and helpful: theyre really looking after the costumers satisfaction and needs.Definitely recommend coming to this location if youre planing on purchasing or leasing a Subaru.
From the minute I walked in it was clear that this was going to be a wonderful experience. I was treated with kindness, respect and all my questions answered. Beautiful new building and friendly staff! Bought my first Subaru here about 6 months ago and had exceptional customer service by Dennis and Taz. Came back for my 6 month service and had a great time chatting with them while my car was being quickly serviced! New Cafe are is still in the works but cant wait to see the finished upgrade to the waiting area!
Very good buying experience!Salesman Payman Shahni very helpful, kind.We went in to test drive a new 2021 Forester, expecting to order one and wait months. Anxious re being in car with salesman because COVID could kill my lung damaged partner; he let me take it out by myself! ( I’m 84.)Liked it, on return found a car like it had just been returned with less than 50 Mike’s on it, and we could buy it and drive it home!Only hard part was very long wait to make a simple total cash payment.Understand like all dealers, with no inventory, they’re having a hard time and are short handed. Still having to drive the new car home for first time near 9 PM, in darkness and fatigued, was not ideal.
Worst customer service!!!!!! Had a call with the service department to check my tire warranty, the lady spoke with a very strong tone, sounded pushy, aggressive, and was not willing to help. People like that should not work as a customer service! It simply ruins any customer’s day by talking to her! It was such a frustrating conversation! God bless her… please just be kind! It is the easiest thing to do!
The facility is good, nice and clean. But their service is pricey. Thats ok given the location. However you cannot rely on the reps to do the right job. You have to be aware of the repairs your car needs and ensure it gets done. Otherwise they might skip necessary repairs and ask you to pay for the whole package.
Took my Outback in for routine maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, multipoint inspection, etc.) on Sep. 24, 2021. My service advisor checked the car in right away. I waited in the newly renovated waiting area. It was very modern and comfortable. The complimentary wifi was fast enough for me to VPN to my company and do some work while I waited. And the maintenance was completed in the time my service advisor said. So all in all, the experience was excellent.
We had an awesome sales experience Ben are sales person was great. We live out of the area and it was late afternoon and he said go get some dinner and come back. That was so nice of him most dealer don’t want you to leave the property. We call Ben during dinner and said we want the outback. That’s why we bought the car from Stevens creek no pressure they had the car we wanted even it this time of car shortages. Thank you everyone who was involved in are car deal.
The price was outrageous compared to other mechanic shops and other Subaru dealerships charging 4x more. I have been getting service done with them for over 5 years and have been a Subaru owner for over 15 years and have never been disappointed like this. I ended up finishing the work somewhere else for $325 when they were charging $1300 labor cost to install rear wheel bearings (not including the cost of the bearings themselves).
Purchased a used 2020 Impreza sport on 5/13/2021. It is under the 3/36 factory warranty. The vehicle itself only has 8501 on the odometer. Made an appointment through the portal for 5/14/2021 @ 11:30am. Arrived @ 11:15 was not greeted well. Explained that the speakers do not work is reason for the visit. I have never been dismissed so quickly by a service advisor or dealer in my life. I will never ever frequent this dealer and warn others to find a better local dealer to use for service. If the treatment is because this is not a customer pay repair and a warranty repair that made the advisor not value me and my issue. Shame on you! Highly disappointed and dis-valued. I hope this is not the beginning of how Subaru treats all warranty customers.

Sam, Mike and William were absolutely wonderful in the entire process of me getting my Subaru crosstrek sports edition. Sam was upfront and transparent, provided excellent service and made sure that I was happy at every step of the process. Mike came back on his day off for my car collection and prepared the car so well. Will walked through every single document with me, patiently explaining aspects of the sale documents and follow up servicing. I have been taking my car to get routine maintenance here since I bought it 2 years ago. They mark everything as passing with flying colors on inspection but clearly my windshield wipers should not have passed. It feels like they just park the car in the lot for 6 hours and then give it back without looking at it.
We had one of the best experience with our Sales Person, Taz. He was extremely helpful from the very beginning to the end. Very transparent and made us felt welcomed with no pressure. Almost like old friends catching up.We had reserved a white Crosstrek Sports trim before hand to check out and test drive in person. Taz, brought us to the roof lot and showed us the ins and outs of all the features the car has to offer.Sam the Director made sure the process flowed flawlessly - and it did! One of the most efficiently run sales department Ive encountered since the start of searching for this particular Crosstrek trim.We also had a great encounter with the Finance person, William. Was truly amazed at how efficient the process was. Even down to signing all the paperwork - esign made things so easy. He explained every form and went over the service plan in detail - because we were curious.Overall, we are super happy about the process, felt super comfortable, did not felt any high pressure sales tactics, and felt super informed about what we are purchasing.Thanks again Taz, Sam, and William!
Great cars, very poor car buying experience. Do not recommend. They push terrible warranty packages on their customers without telling them the details of what is actually covered. Had to ask multiple times to see the details of the warranty. First they told me it was bumper to bumper, then when finally showing me the details I see that there are many exceptions which are not covered. Blatant lying. They use extremely sleazy tactics regarding financing, I had to ask them multiple times to show me APR of the loan I was taking out. Will never come here again, I recommend using any of the other Subaru dealerships in the Bay Area. Love the car I purchased, disappointed that the experience was so horrendous

Got my first car here, a 2021 Crosstrek. I had to work all day so they stayed open for me to do the paper work and pick it up at night. It was fast and they took care of everything. Great amenities too. You gotta get Mike Ramzi. He spent a lot of yoke with us. A very good experience.

Just moved to the area and needed our first 6,000 mile oil change and service! This place was buzzing with customers and the staff was on top of all of it. Cedric was great and they paid for us to get a Lyft back home and back to the dealership to pick up our car when it was finished. Definitely won a customer for life! Oh and free car wash!

Horrible repair experience!!Took my WRX with the clutch being stuck to the floor.Had an appointment on the day I took the car, but was told that the appointment was not for someone to look at the car but just for me meet a service rep and handover the car, I mean seriously?!Nothing was caught on initial inspection which cost me $260, then was asked permission to tear down the transmission to further investigate the issue which I was told would cost $1500. When I cross questioned and asked why transmission would have to be brought down for clutch issue they got back to me saying on a second inspection the clutch master cylinder is leaking and guess the price for that? $1355 (coincidentally very close to the price of bringing the transmission down), of which $860 was just labor which is ridiculous!!On top they said my brake pads needed replacement. Nothing about my brake pads were brought up in my last service at the same place just 2 weeks back. And replacing all the brake pads cost me approx $1000 where I was charged a labor of $260 per hour.What I dont get is if all these are standard charges or just a scam?!Even if standard, a labor of $260 per hr is unheard of and ridiculously expensive.I needed the car fixed urgently and hence went ahead with the service.Never again am I going there!!

This was my first time at this dealer for service on my Outback. It was truly an excellent experience. The staff I interacted with was helpful, friendly and professional. My expectations were set and met with how long it would take, and the car wash was a nice bonus.

Had my Legacy manual trunk repaired. First diagnosis is correct, but repair failed within a day. Had to again diagnose and repair on a second appt. The second time found what caused the failure and corrected the problem. While this should have been repaired correctly on the first time. Good customer service is when they do correct the situation as they warrant their work which Stevens Creek Subaru did.

As a first time car buyer, I couldnt have asked for a better experience! Our salesman, Sahand, was patient while we were looking into what we wanted. He was personable and incredibly nice. He was not pushy which was a huge breath of fresh air. He was eager to help and answer any questions we had. Overall, it was a pleasant, mostly hassle free, low pressure experience. We left pleased with the experience and the deal we walked away with. The new building is incredible. Its very clean and has great customer amenities.
Bought a Crosstrek Hybrid from this location. Everything up until the purchase went fine. After the purchase, I spent time looking up incentives because my salesmen told me to google them rather than directing me to them himself. Learned that I was supposed to get up $1,500 point of sale rebate for the vehicle I was buying but was never told about this by anyone that worked at this dealership(The rebate for this specfic vehicle is $900). Essentially they are hiding this from customers and pocketing the money themselves. Disgusting business practice.

Caveat Emptor! If you contact Stevens Creek Subaru once, you will receive endless phone calls and email messages. Basically, you sign up for robocalls and spam email. I contacted them to get some details on a vehicle they had on their lot. I NEVER received information pertinent to that vehicle. Instead, I received numerous phone calls and emails asking me to contact them. I initially replied that I had purchased a vehicle elsewhere but their phone calls and email messages continued, and continue now 2 weeks after my initial contact. Seriously?If you find a vehicle on the lot at Stevens Creek Subaru that you are going to purchase, go for it. If you are out shopping and trying to get information, DO NOT CONTACT STEVENS CREEK SUBARU UNLESS YOU ARE LONELY AND WANT A LOT OF PHONE CALLS AND EMAIL MESSAGES.Never in my far-too-many years of buying new vehicles have I experienced such b.s. marketing. If they had the perfect vehicle for me at a ridiculously great price I would not purchase from Stevens Creek Subaru give their marketing practices.
I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a vehicle at this dealership. They are listing vehicles way above MSRP online and charging ridiculous fees to swindle their customers. I literally bought this same vehicle earlier in the week for over $10k less brand spanking new. Ridiculous. Here is an example of the vehicle I am talking about.
My mother recently bought a Subaru at Stevens Creek Subaru and she worked with Sean Soliamani. I have to say that the level of service and caring she received was seriously awesome. Sean went above and beyond by not only holding on to my moms new car for a couple of weeks while she sorted out returning her leased vehicle to another company/dealership (who I won’t name but are absolutely terrible), but he also went out of his way to ensure my mom felt as though her time and her business was truly valued. My mom is ESL so sometimes it’s hard for her to understand certain things and it takes a little extra level of patience and over communicating to help her out. Sean did exactly this. He spent extra time showing and explaining all of the features in the car and how to use them. He also offered to make himself available any day he is working to be a resource for her if she has an questions. He never showed any frustration. He never made her feel like her questions weren’t important. He always maintained a polite and positive attitude along with a great level of personable professionalism. If you’re thinking about getting a Subaru (they’re great cars!) go to stevens creek Subaru and work with Sean. You will not regret it!

Radek Kubiak was I sales person from Stevens Creek Subaru who reached out to me and supported during the whole process of booking and buying the car. One of the best car buying experiences on my memory (this is my 19th car). Cant say a lot about every employee there, but Radek was great. Highly recommend to anyone who is on the market for Subaru. I purchased bumper clips on the day a after Thanksgiving last week. The staff quoted me initially for $5.17 each, then immediately said I can give you for $4.17 each. I was a bit happy but also suspicious about the price drop. I picked up some any way. Later I called the Subaru car dealer in Fremont, they charged only $2.65 a piece. Then I called in this dealer next day (Sat) asking about the return for credit, the staff told me I had to wait till next Mon because it required a manager to approve the re stock charge for credit. What kind of service is this! That is not right. I will avoid to do any business with the part department of this dealer.
My husband and I had a great experience from start to finish. Hossein in sales and William in financing are very friendly and made the purchase so easy. We let them know what our budget was and they made it work for us. Also, they are taking great precautions when it comes to Covid-19, they’re checking temperatures and all the surfaces and pens are being wiped after each use. I will definitely be referring to Stevens Creek Subaru!

Jose was my service advisor and he took great care of us - he knew his stuff such that he was able to tell me that one of my repairs was covered by warranty off the top of his head, ensured we had a good loaner, helped us move our carseats into the loaner during our repair, and even let me borrow his USB cable when I forgot to get mine from our car. Thanks to Jose for being awesome!
Service Department - Im very disappointed with the service department. I have been going there for years, and have had relatively good experiences. However, the last time I went there they completely ripped me off. I went in for a 120,000 mile service, and was charged over $1,7000. When I went in for my 60,000 mile service (which is the same thing), it was under $600. I didnt realize how ridiculous the price was until after I had already paid, because I figured I could trust them after the years of good service. Guess not
They had the part I needed on the wall so it was a perfect stop on a busy Saturday.

Each time your team tries to trick me out of using my large service plan and tries to get me to use the least expensive option for you and least amount of service for me. Then the first time I arrive after expiration of my service package your team adds everything under the sun to my car. Ill never go here again. And Ill be sharing my experience and the lack of empathy from Jose and gauging that takes place here. Shame on you for doing that to customers.

One of the best salesman ever works here! His name is Sean or Susan. We e-mailed each other about prices, and he honored it when we got there. When we looked at the car he explained how to work ALL the features in the car. He wasnt pushy at all. I went to another Subaru dealership that day, but they were not friendly. My husband asked a lot of questions (hes a mechanic) and Sean answered all of it. He even let us know that Subaru owners has their own parking lot in Tahoe! When my credit didnt go through he was gracious about it, even when he stayed back after his time off to meet with us! He still joked around with us. His customer for life!
Tried to buy a car during December and had a horrible experience. Called ahead for an appointment to test drive and was assured the car would be ready and waiting. When I arrived and asked for the person I spoke to on the phone, she was no where to be found. Another sales person said hed bring the car right over, and to wait outside. We sat in the sun for 30 minutes and then I called the person I had originally spoken with and asked what was going on. About 5-10 minutes later, the car finally arrived and the salesperson has a pretty unfriendly exchange with us. I test drove the car and then we got out as fast as we could. We ended up at Fremont Subaru the next day to buy and the experience was so much better.
We bought a new 2020 Subaru here and love it. Shaun and William were an excellent team to work with. William in particular went over all the numbers to make sure it was all clear. There was no weird pressure, just great service.
We went to several Subaru as we were looking for a manual transmission Crosstrek, which was difficult and rare to find. We found a certified used car via websites and went to test drive. The color and everything else matched our criteria. We deal with Hossain. who helped test drove the car as we do not know how to drive manual car. He was professional and courteous, very patient answering all of our questions. We ended up buying the car and also met the manager Pedram, a very nice young man who also helped us with the purchase. We have one of the best experience in buying car thru the dealership, which was rare. The service department was really excellent too! We dealt with Jose, Kevin and team. They really took good care of us and buying a pre certified use car that still have warranty was a life saver. Thank you for taking a good care and providing us with top notch customer service!!

Bought my car in Nov 2020 with Beau and discussed the details behind the Service package with William. Great people to work with! I never felt pressured.Ive had my 2020 Subaru Impreza Premium for 5 months now, and I absolutely love it! Previously I had driven a 2008 Saturn Ion and a 2013 Kia Rio, so this is a slight change for me. Overall, the one thing I love is how secure the car feels.Also, I love that I can schedule my appointment with the MySubaru app. The reminders (via phone call) are very helpful as well. The associates are very kind to talk to. Lastly, I had bought the Service package when I bought my car, so dropping off my car for its 6-month/6,000 mile service was so easy! The associate I worked with (David) was welcoming and helpful. I dropped off my car and it was done within an hour! The waiting area looked awesome, but I believe it was at capacity due to COVID-19 Safety Precautions (mad respect!) so I was unable to use it. Thankfully, a friend was able to pick me up and run some errands. Since this location is so close to Santana Row, theres seating one could find there as well.

Complicated technology would have been very difficult for me to understand because of the recently discovered medical condition that impacts my ability to comprehend many things. These men did everything I could have hoped for. I’d give them a 5 out of 5 stars. And most important to me, these gentlemen helped me overcome issues so that I am very competent as I drive and enjoy this delightfully safe and technologically advanced car.
Taz was by far the most amazing car experience Ive ever had!
