Great book store with awesome prices! The setup is very modern, sleek and well put together. The selection of books considers the bay area quite a bit but also has all the popular books. I think there is a good chance to find something new too if youre an avid book reader. There was a line before going in but it was not bad.

Store itself is cute. Lots of amazon devices, curated set of gadgetry and gifts (Quest 2, Casper pillowcases, etc.). Not a huge book selection. Checkout was painful - 1 person with 15 people in line. I just left - prefer the more intimate local book shops. Did like they had a little rating system for the store as you exit.

Its nice to see and touch products that I could only view online. Appreciate the ability to buy a book there and take it home.

This retail outlet is one of the exclusive Amazon Books retail spaces in San Jose area. Be it new releases or best sellers theyve got it all under one roof.The interiors, overall books collection and convinience of book shopping is just amazing out here at Amazon Books.

This store is a remainder for us that what started as a book store and how it has grown as a giant. They do carry a lot of best selling books, offering discounts for prime members, you may also get additional offers such as free audible trail when you purchase at this place. They also carry kindle and echo devices, along with one or two special products which change often.

Wonderful experience, customer service was great. The person who checked me out had a long line going but maintained excellent customer service unlike alot of places who try to rush you. They had a wonderful book selection as well. Definitely worth it to check it out if you have not.

Good selection of books for all ages and subjects. Theyve also got a section with Kindles to try out. Strangely, there is some cookware in the store as well. Checkout is seamless - you just open your app at the register and we even saved money using our Amazon account.

An IRL experience of the Amazon brand. They have an eclectic collection of stuff on the store, from crock pots to various Alexa to books and a bunch more stuff in between. On a Saturday afternoon the store was jam packed and the checkout line was long - in days of same day delivery it was interesting people were happy to spend time lining up!

Meh. It was the first amazon books Ive seen and popped in to try it. First, it doesnt feel like a bookstore, and the front is filled with electronics and Alexa and kindle devices. Thats fine. Call it an Amazon Store. For those of us who love bookstores, want Barnes and noble and local book stores to stay in business, how about amazon has their pick up stores with a few items but leaves the bookstore market to those who can master ambience, a love of books more than just cheap prices. Let everyone have a cafe, seating and other components of a real bookstore and just keep it Amazon Store.

Apart from that you can purchase latest Amazon kindle/ tablet products as well as indoor games and decor.Best part is you still get your Amazon Prime Membership discount on the items you purchase.Books are well organized in various sections which makes it easier to find the taste that feeds your reading needs. Pets are allowed. Funny to think Amazon was originally an e-commerce bookstore. Now it has these curated brick and mortars of the most popular items for sale on Amazon plus where you go try out and get your Amazon devices (Alexa, Kindle, etc) questions answered.This location has an extensive children’s books selection broken down by age groups.

Cool to visit the an Amazon Store for the first time but would still rather buy online.

After driving most of the brick and mortar bookstores out of existence amazon comes to the rescue to fill the void.The store design is very impressive and all the tricks employed here dont become apparent until you spend some serious time browsing.The books are all facing so as to display their covers, with an intentional gap and a black background that makes browsing feel less like a bookstore and more like a gallery. But keep moving as youll only find a few spots with enough room to actually look at a book, and the few seats available are mostly in the childrens section and already occupied by adults.Despite the space lost to the extravagant display design, the book selections are solid, with classics and fresh titles no doubt mined from amazon sales data.Staff is friendly and attentive but with one or two exceptions knows surprisingly little about books or how the store operates once you get past surface questions about how purchases are made.

Waited in line outside of the store for 20 min just to return drop-off. Theres no separate line for return drop-off. I understand and support the safety protocol but lacking separate line for drop-off is just not as well-organized as I expected for a big tech giant. They could have done much better than this.

Nice location for the book store. The assortment is good, kids love it though there is not enough space to sit and relax. There is a section with gadgets but overall space is quite limited.At the counter they said I as a prime member is eligible for two free audiobooks and if I want to redeem it, I agreed and got automatically signed up for audible. That is terrible, I didnt want and was not told it requires audible subscription so I now need to go and cancel it manually.Otherwise, place is good for book shopping.

As someone who shops for books online on Amazon a lot, this place is heaven at exactly the same price, with the added advantage of physical books which is always fun to browse. The YA section was the largest which made me smile ear to ear. The Sci-fi section was right next to it and the mystery section was right in front of it. Amazing book placement.The thing that stood out the most was that for a physical book store, the covers of the books were in impeccable condition. They were all very well cared for which made the experience more enjoyable.I found the one book that I came looking for 😆 They also had Pusheen plush toys. The price for Prime members is almost 9-10 dollars less than the actual price. Great place for spending time without even shopping.

This is an amazing place if you love books. I like that this store has a huge collection of books from all the genre and it is well organised. One interesting thing about this store that I have noticed, is that there are some titles which are exclusively available in the store. They also have special prime pricing which is always about 20% lower than the price online.The curated sections of ‘Bay Area Favourites’ and ‘Science’ are worth taking a look.

Very good selection of books, its a small store but has good books and costumer service is very nice and helpful always. I bought a Kindle Oasis and the lady that attended me was very nice and knowledgeable.

Its a membership store..., so if youre a Prime member, than the prices are good, but if not, then you pay way too much! Plus, my prime from France did not seem to be valid in USA, which was a little bit frustrating.

Walked in cuz...well I was curious to see what it looks like on the inside. I ended up talking to an associate for about a half an hour about the functions of Alexa and all the neat stuff it does. The inside reminds me of an Apple store more than a book store (like Barnes & Noble) not saying thats a bad thing its just not the vibe I expected.

Nice retail shop for Amazon products. The prices are higher then on the web, but you can pay with your user in the store to get the same internet discounts price (which is not placed on the stuff in the store).For me its look like a store for people who dont buy things online for some reason. I dont see the point of going there unless you want somthing and dont have the time to wait for shipment.

My husband & I set on a journey to read more books this year and I’ve heard great reviews about this book ‘The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck’ & had to get it. Since I’m a Prime member, I knew I’d get a good deal since we’d be getting it from Amazon. This was my first time visiting it and we got there late (6:45 & they close at 7 on Sunday) but they still allowed us to come inside for 5 min. I immediately saw the book along with an interesting looking read from Stephen Hawking (my husband is engulfed in this one). There’s a vast selection of books in a variety of subjects without feeling overwhelmed like I would at Barnes & Noble. Long story short, I saved $21 being a Prime member & will be activating my trial for Audiobooks when I come back!

I had to come here to return an item. The people were very nice. although, the only thing there was annoying was the line getting into the place. However, that should change once restrictions ease even further.

Yeah books. Sometimes it feels better to hold a book when youre reading. Lots of books to choose from. Card only for payments. No cash.

The small bookstore brings some of what I love about Amazon into the physical world, like excerpts from reviews and recommendations in the form of If you like X, youll love Y displays. Prime members pay Amazon prices; all others pay list price. Unfortunately, there arent many places to sit down and theres still a physical cashier and lines.

This is my second time coming to this store. On both times the employees have been very helpful. One of them took her time to explain the difference between the kindles and showed my daughter and I how to use it. They made sure to wipe the counter and credit card terminal with antibacterial wipes after every customer. Would definitely visit again!

Friendly, college-aged staff there to help and each book selection has the amazon.com rating in case you needed extra validation.The line is long to get in but thats no fault of theirs. Check-out is easy and quick too if you have amazon prime on your phone

This place just opened two weeks ago. Its freshing to see a book store opening since so many have closed in the past. Clean store with Amazon electronic products for sale. Super friendly customer service. Air conditioner was on which is a plus since it was hot outside.

Cool store. Has a decent selection of basic books and magazines. They carry a lot more books than I thought they would with the size of the store. (Basic medium sized store, dont expect a Barnes and Noble sized shop.)They also carry gadgets and and some things other than books.Rated 4 stars, I am not sure how customer service is, due to limited employees during COVID-19 regulations.

Nice place to shop for most of the stuff from their online store. Its particularly a readers paradise. A collection of most of the books youll need. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The place is well organized and neatly arranged so you should be able to find whatever you are looking for relatively fast. If not then the staff on site would be more than happy to check it out for you and advice further. Usually if the item cant be found on the store then they check it out for you on the online store. Furthermore, the store is easily accessible. The prices for items are relatively pocket friendly. But then again it depends with what item you want to buy.

Truly an awesome experience, they live up to the customer service name they’ve established. I love that Amazon is popping these stores up there are only a few locations from what I’ve seen but definitely worth a visit even if you’re just a little curious, overall fantastic.

Great place to see the books and select highly rated products, before buying them. The buying experience is seamless with all the benefits youd expect online as a prime member - from discounts to cash back on prime card and more. Browsing the books before buying them was great specially when combined with the reviews. Great place to take kids too for the same reason. The location is great as well so can easily spend a chunk of the weekend there.

Excellent place to browse for books and really deep discounts for Amazon Prime members. Although the selection isnt that extensive, they do cater to most people. Its also a great location to collect books ordered online over Amazon. If you are planning for breakfast or lunch in Santana Row, this is also an excellent place to visit before or after your appointment.

Really cool brick and mortar location near Santana row. Parking is a bit of a pain driving through but convenient with the free parking garages nearby. All the books are priced exactly as amazon app and you can use the amazon app to check the prices! Check out is made through your amazon account so makes it really fast and efficient.
