Rich was kind, passionate, and happy to answer all of my questions even though I am a beginner. He will go out of his way to make sure you have exactly what you need and its very polite and courteous. great selection of stuff and if they dont have anything, they can get it for you. Will definitely be visiting here again soon.

Very impressed! This is not an antiseptically clean, cooking-show type place. Instead its a somewhat messy, comfortable place owned by a guy with a ton of stories and knowledge. Im just starting in this hobby, not even sure how far Ill go, but all I wanted was some EC-1118 yeast and an airlock, and it was no problem, got my parts, no lectures, no attitude, just friendliness.A good landmark to find this place is, theyre behind the local HILTI retail shop so find HILTI, go behind to the back row of R&D spaces, and there they are.

Richard is very passionate about what he does. He spent 2 hours teaching us how to brew. He went beyond what one can find online. He explained the principals and highlighted pitfalls for beginners like us. He also gave us forward looking possibilities to improve and ease brewing chores as well as recipe modification options. The shop stock ingredients to make different kinds of beers and best of all he provided recipe for our 1st brew - IPA. Richard is wealth of knowledge in the art. Highly recommended.

Ive been going to Rich at Beer and Wine Makers of America for nearly 15 years now. The place is a little hard to find as its in the back of an industrial area with poor signage. The shop isnt as self-service as other homebrew shops Ive been to, so you may have to wait until Rich (or whoever is working) is freed up and can help you. Sometimes its quick, other times, it takes a while.Rich has been doing this for decades now and theres very few people I know who have the breadth of brewing knowledge about both beer and wine than he has.

Called looking for a couple of brewing supplies and asked about curbside pickup. The man on the phone hesitated and kinda said yes but quickly responded I could just come in like 90% of the people. I felt that was unnecessary especially when trying to be extra safe during covid. Ill stick to Fermentation solutions.

Amazing gem! Got good advice from Rich, the owner, including a beer recipe he printed for me. With his 5 gallon starter kit, I was able to make my first batch of home brewed beer in 4 hours from beginning to end. Now 5 weeks of fermenting, carbonating and chilling the beer lie ahead.

What a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!! We went in to get some Hops for tea and ended up with a full blown educational experience about hops and their rating. We will be back - not to make beer or wine or vinegar; but, for hops tea...Sweet Experience...Enjoy

This place is great! They have everything youll need to brew some great beer. The guys that work here know a lot about brewing and are very helpful.

Rich has been invaluable in helping me get started. He always treats the customer in front of him as the most important, never rushing. While some feel this can delay simple purchases, I feel his advice and willingness to explain things is worth the delay. Great guy to deal with.

Fantastic knowledge of beer and wine making. Great supplies. The staff is very kind, and they will point you in the right direction. They live what they know - the wine they produce (Richard in particular) is outstanding, notice the award ribbons all over the place! Highly recommended.

Just decent, not great. Grain prices are on par with online, but really good deals on whole leaf hops. Adjuncts are way over priced though. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.

Knowledgeable staff. The will tell you exactly how to produce the flavors you want in you ethenol and water (aka beer and wine). They know their micro-organisms. After all, it is just time, temperature, food and nutrients. Right Rich?Hey, what ever happened to the fat guy? Oh, they know cheese making too.

I just started brewing Kombucha a few months ago. This place has pretty much everything you could need for home brewing, (beer, wine, kombucha, you name it).The place is pretty small so the owner doesnt have absolutely everything in stock but what he doesnt have he can order.The owner seems pretty knowledgeable.

Rich is a master. Why he doesnt have a brewery or winery of his own baffles me. I always learn something new every time I go in. And hes got some great stories.

Excellent shop, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

These are my brewing go-to guys. The store is a big unorthodox; their shelves are filled to the gills, there is stuff all over the place, so browsing around is not so easy yet they have lots of ingredients and equipment at good prices. A big plus for me was that they will let you take any recipe from their beer binder for free or put it together for you on the spot.

The staff are nice, but the stock is really disorganized and overall the place is dirty, disheveled, and crowded. Ive been a few times now and it always takes a while to check out. I went today for just a vial of yeast, instead of MoreBeer, to save 10 minutes of driving, but It took me 20 minutes to check out. If youre looking for advice or to talk with the staff, its not a bad place, but if youre just going to get supplies, I really recommend spending a few extra minutes to go elsewhere.

Great selection on hand the owner is more than helpful, and has knowledge and a wall of awards in the craft to back it up.

Knows their beer and wine. If you have questions, they can most likely answer it. They can help walk you through what you need to get going, also, have tons of equipment and materials.

Very helpful staff with tons of hops options. Yeast options include local GigaYeast and White Labs.

Website doesnt do the store justice. They have much more than grapes and ingredients, they have a great selection of equipment too.
