Over all, my experience was great. However, there was one thing that I asked for that was not completed. I asked that the inside of the front windshield be cleaned and that was not done.

I took my GMC truck in to have the TMS tire valve sensors for my camper (provided to me by GMC based on option purchased) repaired. P.S. The camper needed to be towed in and hooked up to the truck. The automated program for establishing communication with the TMS sensors failed at home and locked me out of the program. The techs had to reset the Infotainment screen and re-establish comms. They were successful, BUT THEY LEFT THE CAMPER TIRE PRESSURE (ALL FOUR) AT 90 psi. FYI the max rating is 80 psi.
I had the opportunity to work with Ms. Tabora on the purchase of a vehicle. Ms. Tabora went above and beyond the call of a normal car saleswoman by staying late while I drove and inspected the vehicle. Instead of pushing me to buy the car, she told me to take the afternoon to do research and compare options (I dont know if she was using reverse psychology by being so relaxed, but it worked and made me feel comfortable in my purchase). She gave me her work number and told me to call her if anything came up. I went back home and did some research and realized the vehicle was a great price (Capitol does not allow you to barter prices). I texted Ms. Tabora that same night and asked her to hold the vehicle for me in order to go buy it in the morning. When I arrived at the dealership, Ms. Tabora was already charging the car for me and was ready to work to sign the documents. I also worked with Ms. Alvarado regarding the financial aspect and she was extremely knowledgeable. As a whole, I had a great experience with Ms. Tabora and Capitol Buick GMC they have professional and friendly employees. I will be coming back to shop with them in the future.

I took my vehicle in for a nose it’s making on the front Axel when I make turns. I was told there was nothing wrong and paid the fee for checking the vehicle. Problem is the Acadia is still making the same clicking sound when I turn. I don’t understand how this is possible if I was assured there was nothing wrong and the vehicle did not make this noise. Basically I was told I was shearing things. I am extremely dissatisfied it is not the first time this happens at this dealership where I am told nothing is wrong or that they fixed the problem and I end up taking the vehicle a couple more times for the same problem. I dropped off my vehicle at 7:30am for an 8;30am appointment only to get a call at 4:30pm to say my vehicle was ready. I was told they were busy and started working on my vehicle after noon. I don’t think employees understand the importance about keeping on schedule and how customers do need their vehicles back. It’s a disappointment how this continues happening.
Our car broke down after 2 years of great use. We had it towed in about 7pm At night. Jorge R called the next morning and said the water pump and belt were blown, might take a day or two. Called about 5 hours later car was done. My wife and I were amazed. Thank you so much Jorge.

1. Arrived there was no one around to help or answer questions- took a while of standing around and actually needed to go into the building to ask for service.2. Vehicle we were interested was very dirty and parked on a back lot that was not easily accessible.3. The young man who helped us- though very kind was not knowledgeable about the vehicle features or financing process.4. We sat for hours watching him go back and forth asking questions of a manager. A manager that never welcomed us or introduced himself.5. The car purchasing process is lengthy and not once were we offered so much as a glass of water.Though, everyone we encountered was very nice, this dealership can greatly improve when it comes to customer service and attention detail. Having recently purchased an Audi this experience with GMC definitely fell short.Lastly, we purchased an expensive GMC truck on our second visit to this dealership. After our first visit we asked a salesperson to follow up with us because the vehicle we wanted to test drive was not available at the time. We were never contacted and when we followed up with the salesperson and left a message they never returned our call.Ultimately our purchase took place at this location because of the shortage of inventory at other dealerships. Had a similar vehicle been available elsewhere we likely would have avoided this location.
Service was great and professionally handled, how ever I was disheartened in that I really didnt understand how much time they actually took to diagnose issue after having my vehicle for a day and a half and problem still exists, technically if they had codes I believe they should have been followed through and troubleshooted but instead as I drove it out of parking lot issue was still present. And although I received a complimentary pass to take again for a diagnostic test I am unsure if I could trust their experts.

Initially there was a hiccup with scheduling a service appointment with being told that I would be called back to get scheduled and never was. But after another attempt the next day and finally getting scheduled, Kurtis was excellent in taking care of my needs to do the $1700 150K performance maintenance and fix multiple issues with my 2008 Yukon XL Denali. The final cost was definitely more than what I wanted to spend but I believe it was worth it as the service techs did a great job and got everything done that I requested and more. Now I feel much more at ease with our upcoming road trip. Thanks guys!

I honestly have never left a review on anything before but I felt it was warranted. I recently bought a Chevy Traverse from Capitol Buick this weekend and was very pleased with the service. Our salesman Dennis was very patient, talked with me about the vehicles, and gave me his honest advice. I appreciated his professionalism and easy going nature. I never felt pressured into buying anything. As if that wasnt enough, Dennis stayed late to help us finish our deal and then offered to come and pick me up (personally) the next day so that I could still get my car detailed. Great Guy and service.I would also like to recognize Perla in the accounting office. Once again, she was very personable, professional, and also stayed late to help us get all the paperwork done. I know she must have been exhausted from a long day but she never complained and answered all of our questions and concerns. She made us feel very comfortable throughout the process. Truly a great person to work with.We had gone to many dealerships that weekend but I can honestly say that this one had the best blend of professionalism and relatability. I would recommend Capital Buick to anybody (especially Dennis and Perla) if youre looking to buy a vehicle.
I am a loyal customer to GMC (Capitol Buick) dealership sevice center since 2004. My service advisors are Guill Portillo and Jorge Rodriguez. They are very professional and friendly. They listen to the customer very carefully and after the service is done, they text the customer to make sure he is satisfied with the service. This gives me a good feeling on how much they are cocerned. I commend Guill and Jorge for their honesty. I would like also to mention that the place is very clean and confortable. The dealership implements the CDC (COVID-19) regulations.

We did our research after several weeks found a 2 year old Suburban, one owner, factory certified, low mileage, etc. I spoke to Ozzie several times and he had the vehicle ready when we arrived after a 2 hour drive. Ozzie was very attentive, relaxed, and great to work with. I highly recommend Capitol GMC Buick and would go back again to buy from them.
My family is an all time GM owner. I decided to purchase a 2017 terrain Denali In 2016 because of that… Worse decision ever. I’ve had great service with oil changes UP UNTIL when my car started acting up 4 years later and I was 500 mi away from hitting 60K… My truck was at the dealer for two weeks, I got no communication through. I decided to call to check on the status. I was gotten back to with “we are changing the transmission” I was never asked for any some sort of authorization they just decided to go ahead and make changes (which I would have said ok to but this is not the point here)… I called a few times the day after asking for work orders. I left for vacation the next morning and I got a text saying my vehicle was ready. I WASTED MY TIME, AND MONEY CANCELING PLANS AND DRIVING BACK for them to get their rental back because “I didn’t notify them of such vacation” I’m sorry but I was never notified about MY vehicle that was under their watch why do I have to update THEM with my life plans? They proceeded to say I had to return the vehicle within 24 hours or my card would get charged for the extra days. They then offered to pick up the car from my home if I couldn’t get it to them… anyways I picked up my car after hours planning to drive back to LA this morning and when I got it back, it made a noise and it still down shifted weird (reason I brought it in). SO HERE I GO AGAIN CANCELING MY PLANS AND TRIP. I bring it back It’s still having issues. This is the 4th time I’ll be bringing it in in a row too. Literally pick it up and take it back the next day
The sales rep, Kurt Smith, who helped me went above and beyond to make sure my car was properly diagnosed and repaired in the time he promised. He communicated effectively and clearly and anticipated my needs. I do not often give 5 star ratings but he and the entire service center were excellent.

Tony was very knowledgeable with the vehicle and if a question could not be answered on the spot, Tony would know where to find the answer. Arrived late to appointment due to a dead battery. Dealership still able to accommodate me. Not happy about the cost of the new battery and that I had to pay an additional $15 to keep my old battery. And was never asked about my rewards points that could reduce the cost of the service.
Wonderful facility. Customer sales Rep Osbaldo (Ozzie) was excellent, 5 star review for him! Ozzie was courteous, professional, ethical, and was very honest individual. It also helped that he was Bilingual in the Spanish language. Kudos to Ozzie, he’s definitely an asset to the dealership.

Service is always excellent. The service writers descriptions of service needs and my service requests were clear and easily understood. The service was performed efficiently and my car was returned washed and dried. The experience had no negatives and nothing more to wish for.
Overall, my experience was very good. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, especially Angelo and Olivia. I live over 2 hours away so called to verify the truck was still available, then drove down to make the purchase. When I arrived, the truck was finishing up in detailing so I went back inside to finish up the paperwork. The only negative I can state is that it took over 2 hours to complete the purchase before I was finally on my way back home. Other than the time, it was a great experience

I dont have a complaint about the technical component of my experience as the work was just performed and I am not yet in a place to comment on a job well done or not. I was a little thrown back by a couple of things. When I picked up my vehicle it was tightly parked between two large vehicles and there was a vehicle parked crosswise in front of it. It was difficult to get out of the spot and took a number of tries before I was able to drive away. I was a little nervous about hitting the other cars. I think as a courtesy it should be fairly easy to get out of the spot where customers cars are parked. The other issue is the items that were stored in the rear secret compartment were all over the back seat of the car (e.g, not replaced in the compartment) and the extra floor mat that covers the compartment was bent in two and in the middle row of the interior. All of that after a $2,500 service charge. Kind of stings. Im going to change where I take my car and also where I buy it next time. This is not the first time its been a challenge to get out of the parking spot and seems like the courtesy part of the service is missing more and more each time.
Every time I go to this dealership it is always a bad experience. This last time I even got into it with the manager Bill. I had an appointment for 8 am. I wasnt seen till after 8:30a. When I questioned as to why I was not being attended to Bill just said leave it and well take care of it. I received a call saying my car was ready for pick up at around 3pm. I noticed that they had driven my truck for over 70 miles. I also noticed that they had hit my truck and there are scuff and paint marks on my bumper. I tried to reach out to Bill after I received a text asking how my experience was. Bill started to yell at me saying the the report stated that the truck was driven only 8 miles. Bill also told me that my truck had only been there for no more than 3 hours. I told him that who ever wrote that report was lying. I had also installed a camera from the dealership and when I wanted to see the video I was not able to. They had disconnected the camera and I was not able to see how they hit my truck. After I expressed this to Bill you can tell he got really nervous and started yelling at me that I cursed out one of his employees. That is a lie as well. He then hung up on me. I feel frustrated and I cant trust that GMC dealership again. Matter of fact I think this will be my last time buying a GMC all thanks to Bill and his employees. They couldnt tell me the reason the truck was failing. Instead they unplugged my dealership bought and installed camera and told me they didnt know what was wrong with the truck. Now I have no camera that was installed by them and that cost me well over $700. I cant go back to them because of this situation. Now I dont know where to go or who to turn to.
After being judged as if I couldnt purchase a vehicle by a sales person at the Fremont Automall GMC, my husband and I headed to San Jose to test drive cars. Castulo (our salesman), Kamal (finance rep), and Perla (finance rep) restored my faith in car sales. They were professional, not pushy, and knowledgeable. We wound up with two new cars from them and couldnt have had a better experience!

If I could give zero stars I would. My experience was terrible. The salesperson was nice and friendly, but new to the position, so had to defer to others often.1. Salesperson that I worked with was not very knowledgeable of the product I was looking at. 2. I was lied to by the salesperson in regards to two features/issues and have texts to prove it. Honest mistake, but again lack of knowledge of the product.3. Even through this, I stayed to try and negotiate. The General Sales Manage, Oscar Escamilla, came over to “explain” the dealer markup and said “supply and demand” “less features to get the vehicle in stock and their applying a dealer markup” got up and walked away. His arrogance was unbelievable. Extremely rude and unprofessional sales manager. I’ll be sure not to recommend this place to anybody in the future.
Worked with Andres yesterday and the dealer was extremely busy - he was courteous and able to juggle helping 3 customers at once. We wanted to have a discussion on the price of the truck we were interested in and were ready to make a purchase that day. Unfortunately, this dealer is unwilling to have any price discussions. They were offering us MSRP on the vehicle as well as a 3k markup. There was no talk about how to make figures work or discussion - pay the price or move on. The text message I received was highly dismissive, Unfortunately the market determines the pricing and my hands are tied down. You have a great rest of your dayI understand trucks are hard to come by due to covid - there were other vehicles on the lot that we could have explored to meet our numbers. Like I mentioned to you Andres, I am selling my current vehicle in 24 hours and we need a replacement. A good sales person would have become more creative by selling other cars that would have met our needs or even asking questions, like are you open to the non-AT4s? What options are must haves for you?Apparently, not making commission (which he stated like 6 times during his discussion with me) means you dont have to try to make a sale for the dealership.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and had to leave it over night to have other work done. I think the service tech that assisted me should have taken the time to explain to me what exactly was done.The service was done fairly quick, but Basically came down to not being a very thorough experience from start to finish.I picked up my vehicle and left not really knowing what happened aside from my oil change, but I was able to read and decipher what was on my paperwork to understand what was done.Overall not a very welcoming service center. It is conveniently close to my house, but I may be trying another Chevy/GM location in the furture

Our last three $60,000 vehicles have been GMC. We’ve always serviced those vehicles there at Capitol. The service staff has always been near excellent customer service. Our last experience has not been good. Our Yukon came with a dealer installed power step. It has never worked correctly. Dealer has worked on it a few times already. This time they charge me $100 diagnostic fee which we should not have paid but we did. Well one day later in the step is stuck down on one side and stuck up on the other side.

It took me 4-5 trips to the dealership to get my vehicle fixed of something it had since I bought it. I’m beyond upset with the customer service my advisor Gil gave me and for the fact that I had to pay the deductible twice because they were not able to fix it the first time I took it in.

Greeted in the drive, even though it was early morning. Although my car was in for routine maintenance, the technician found a leak and sent me a video. Covered under warranty. So glad I take my car in on a regular basis. Great service.
I scheduled my Warranty Maintenance on-line and it was very easy to do. My contact, Eddie, was excellent and kept me informed of the progress and results at the end. The work was performed on time, no delays or problems.

This was a special order and due to Covid-19 and related shortages it took a while, but finally I got the truck build as I really wanted, so the wait was worth it. The guy (Dan) I worked with was very helpful with the entire process and selection of options in particular, and he did not try to push for just any truck from the lot just to make a sale.

Dan definitely made all the difference of where I chose to have the work done. I am originally from San Jose but now live in Bakersfield. I spoke with a couple different dealerships there and asked (what I thought was a straightforward question) about whether or not my vehicle had magneride/magnetic ride and continually was told they needed to speak with their techs (this is after I shared the VIN) and I had to chase them down for an answer which I never received. I called your dealership and was connected with Dan who was very empathetic to my situation and was also knowledgeable about what was needed for my truck. During the entire process he ensured I didnt have any additional questions/concerns and even when I picked up the vehicle when the alignment was slightly off I came back in a few minutes later and Dan immediately walked back to the service bay (as you were getting ready to close) and asked 1 of the techs to hang back and re-test. They ultimately solved the alignment concern at the end and while I wasnt thrilled with the cost of my strut replacement I was very happy with the interaction and care put in to the process.In short, Dan helps partner with you through the process vs. just tallying a bill and that really sets him apart from others in the service industry.
Spent 30 minutes looking at used cars.wasnt approached by a single salesperson. I was very interested in the white 2020 Cadillac CT5 but there was no price posted on most of the cars. Guess theyre not interested in selling the used cars on their lot.
Gil was fine. The technician however told me him my discs were ‘cracked’ from excessive heat. Suggested I hauled a heavy trailer, I don’t own one, never towed anything with this truck...ever. The Service Manager, Steve was useless, supported the lie. I pulled both front tires and voila, NO CRACKS! The fact that the Service Manager, is willing to lie is really bad. I’LL NEVER BE BACK & SUGGEST EVERYONE STAY AWAY.

Kurtis was exceptional with his customer service. We purchased our vehicle in Yuba City and had a warranty for our truck. Kurtis contacted the dealership in Yuba City and worked with them to figure out the best option to honor the warranty work. He gathered all the service records, contacted the warranty center, and was persistent in making sure my warranty was honored. After all his diligence, the warranty center denied my claim. However, Kurtis found their mistake and asked them to review the files again and the claim was finally honored. He worked for four days on this claim and worked for hand and hand with the Yuba City dealership to resolve the repair. He went above and beyond. Thank you, Kurtis, for your attention to detail and persistence to get the repairs done under warranty.Also, the technician (Im not sure his/her name) fixed the part on the weekend to get us our vehicle and returned it as quickly as possible.

Outstanding service by Kurtis was told that an update would come on or before 2:00 pm and sure enough he called to give me an update. I was given my opinions on the care of my vehicle no pressure. I really wish I would have known that walk ins that are waiting are priority of people that have appointments and drop off the car to do other things while their service is being done. I made my appointment a month ahead and worked my schedule around it to have someone ready to pick up my care in the late morning since I had an 8 am appointment, I figured appointments are priority no matter if you are waiting or not. Then I checked car wash on the form and didn’t even get a car wash.
I had a Great Experience. On time with everything. Open about costs and service, so no hidden fees. Very accommodating as I had to leave my car overnight and they offered me a temporary car.

We recently purchased a car from Denis. After several grueling days of looking and dealing with some less then impressive salesmen- we are so thrilled to have finally found our car. We for the most part, knew what we were looking for and had driven several different versions of the GMC Terrain. After arriving and poking around a little in the lot, Denis greeted us. He was kind, relaxed, and really easy to converse with- which was a huge relief. The dealership was clean and had procedures in place for the pandemic and they made it safe for their customers. All in all, I would highly recommend you pay this place a visit. Look for Denis, he’s knowledgeable and honest and extremely kind. Well you had my truck for 10 days and you didnt fix the problem. I still get the same trailer error message as before. Now I need my truck and cant leave it with you for awhile. You told me to bring it back in and I will have to but not soon. This is really aggravating.

I brought my truck in for a radiator leak, they wanted to diagnose it themselves that’s fine they are the pro’s but they charged me for a diagnostic then charged me for a pressure test, not sure why I’d be charged twice to diagnose the problem. Not sure when places started charging additional fees for tools used. hey I need to use a screwdriver and a wrench we had to charge you!!! That doesn’t make sense. After all that i didn’t dispute the unreasonable charge I just paid it and left only to realize when I got home my truck was still leaking coolant. So my truck had to go back for another whole day, multiple Uber fees because of this. So no not happy. Dan was nice but yeah still not happy.

These guys are bunch of crooks. Be careful when dropping the car for service. Please check with other auto repair shops before you drop your car there. They will try to squeeze every penny and will make up things that dont need to be fixed. The owner should be in jail. I am following up with the DAs office. In addition, very poor customer service.

I have never been to Buick GMC before, but am so glad that I went today. I was looking for a compact SUV at a fair price, and happened to see one at this location. I was quickly greeted by Gabriel Fuentes Vazquez, who was so helpful and so kind! He was like no car salesperson I had ever met. He genuinely wanted my partner and I to like the car and he wanted to honestly answer any questions we had. This was not our first car purchase, but we had been shopping around for about a week and had had many negative experiences with car sales people. Gabriel was totally different. He was so enthusiastic (but not obnoxiously so), he was kind and he truly wanted to make our car shopping experience a pleasant one. Shopping for cars can feel stressful, but he made it very relaxing. He was kind, efficient and extremely nice to talk to. He literally ran to get anything we needed. Its quite clear that Gabriel is a fantastic worker and an amazing car salesman. If you want a good car buying experience, come to Buick and ask for Gabriel. We will definitely come here again just because of how great our experience was with him and with the financing office. The woman who helped us in financing, Pearla, was also amazing. So nice, so patient and very efficient. Also, her office smelled amazing. There are few car dealerships that get raving reviews, but this one deserves it. They are nice, they are fun and they are happy, and it shows!
