An amazingly well run store with a wide variety of European and middle eastern products which are very hard to find elsewhere. They keep expanding their space and there are aisles full of teas and coffees and desserts that I had growing up so for people from Asia and the Middle East this store is heavenly. The deli is to die for with probably the best Koubideh and Lamb chops I’ve had anywhere.
We love the fresh produce, meat counter and the staff here at International Food Bazar. One of the best buys is the Ground Beef Kabobs which are delicious with a side of BBQ Tomatoes. Produce is also very fresh with organic Cucumbers and Tomatoes. I remember when our baby was small, the Owner Haji, would offer her Free Chocolate bar which is very sweet.
This one star review is for their meat department.Last week, I went over there and purchased three pounds of beef brisket.Opening the bag at home to prepare-knowing some fat to remove, the amount of fat from the three pounds of meat was more than a pound.I thought most of butcher would at least remove some excessive fat from the meat to sell. If you got a wrong cut from this store, you end up with FAT not MEAT.I share the pics today on my visit only to be told by their meat dept that was how the meat came. It would have been a nice customer service if he really listened and saw the pics I was presenting to him. Nope. Most of time, I like my shopping at this place, but will I ever buy meat from this store, of course not. See the pics!
Amazing place with great variety of food from all over the world. The people that work there make you feel like youre part of the family! I always enjoy going there. Their kebab restaurant is awesome too!
Good place to shop different countries products especially middle eastern
They sell pork here, while claiming to be a halal store? Found that pretty odd false advertising. The produce isnt quite as fresh as youd hope them to be, not very clean either. Had high hopes but was sadly disappointed.
Products are not bad. But it was better in the past and the quality declined. Service in the meat department is awful. They think you are at their mercy to get your protein. But with so many different shopping options in the area, I avoid their meat deparent whenever possible.
There is no market like this in the entire Bay Area. They have been there for over 40 years for a reason. Best store, best people, best quality, and most of all, biggest variety of middle eastern and European products.
My favorite store. You can variety of goods from europe and middle east at a very reasonable price. They are very friendly and helpful.
All I can say is WoW! This place has it all, seriously... The produce is simply amazing, Mid East food items are plentiful (everything you need thats hard to find in one location), and the food is great too! What more could you want? I really wish I had a place like this near me :(. I travel all over Northern California visiting stores like this and this is one of the very best. This place is family owned and operated, has been here a long time, and the service is top notch! Stop wasting time reading this review and go there now! Lol
Fantastic selection of Mediterranean spices, food, drinks, snacks, as well as products from other countries. Great fresh fruit and veggies selection, breads, etc. A wonderful place, well stocked and excellent prices.
Aisles are too narrow, two carts cannot pass each other.
I have been to this Iranian grocery store once during the peak of covid. A few things really stood out in this store. Firstly, the organization of sections in the aisles of products was well organized. The store is broken into two half, one half has fresh product like vegetables,, meat, cheese etc. The other half is general grocery. The halal meat has excellent cuts especially if you are coming for lamb or beef. Excellent collection of organ parts for lambs and beef such as paya, short ribs, chops, cow tongue. kidney, heart, brain etc. Right next to the butcher is a kebab shop where they grill up iranian style kebab with iranian naan bread. When I visited the store it was during peak of covid so there was no seating to eat Kebab. I definitely plan to return now to shop and while my meat is being cut have kebab on the side. The last strong point of this store is dried fruits. A lot of good quality dried fruits and nuts from middle east. I also purchased Zafran from Isfahan, amazing quality. A lot of the Zaafran in bay area is from Spain specially at the Indian stores. This store has Iranian zaafran. You can also buy Zafran oil. There is also good selection of fruits outside the store. The store gets quite crowded. I hope this store can expand further to accommodate more customers.
They have a great selection of Armenian products. Lots from where I grew up(Fresno). Great meat and produce selection. A wide array of jared vegetables and pickles.
Awesome kabobs and really great produce. Also, very good variety of middle eastern (and other international areas) foods.
Best Mediterranean market in the area. Clean and friendly people.
Love this store, the food is wonderful here. Everything they make is delicious! Love all the fresh vegetables an fruit and pastries. You got to try the hot food plates they serve here they are divine! 👌🏼👌🏼💗
Best specialty supermarket in the area by far. They have an amazing selection of middle eastern products as well as fresh produce, deli and butcher departments. Our go-to for many specialty ingredients and quality fruits and veggies. Also highly recommend the in-house restaurant!
Perhaps a larger selection of goods than other similar stores, and a nice food court.Could you please add the price/lb for produce to the receipt? I was almost overcharged!
Very safe place to shop. Masks requirente and temps checked at the door. Wide variety of fresh produce.
Great middle eastern shop
In A Nutshell:-The International Food Bazaar is the place to grab your Middle Eastern/Mediterranean groceries/ingredients.-This tiny grocery store has everything you need from a wide-variety of flat breads, pickled veggies, spices & spreads plus a nice selection of frozen foods & fresh fruits.-There is also a small restaurant co-located here that serves up some delicious kabobs in case you cant wait to get home to cook using your purchased ingredients.Overall, you feel like youve traveled to the Middle East/Mediterranean after visiting here b/c its that authentic.
Interesting middle eastern oriented grocery store, right in the middle of a busy area of Campbell, at the intersection of Union and Bascom!
This is a great neighborhood middle eastern market. They have a wonderful deli and their staff are friendly, helpful and they become very familiar. I do wish they carried more organic produce.
Store is a bit tight and small but it has good collection of items from Turkey and middle east.
Love this place! Looking to try international goodies? I like exploring the narrow aisles with exotic pickle veggies, cookies, sauces, vinegars, so much more, like natural sweets!
I dont recommend this store. Quality is not good.
Found what I needed, some Paneer. Havent been here in years. Theyve really made the place bigger and nicer with more variety.
I love this place ❤ they have everything I grew up to know and love, the staff are nice and the food quality is great.
We like their specialty food and their prices are relatively low. They manage now the number of customers in the store, so be prepared to stand in line to get in.
Always wonderful ❤
They have an amazing selection of middle eastern products as well as fresh fruits, and butcher department.
Variety of middle eastern, mediterranean and eastern european food. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and organized. Produce is like farmers market, always fresh.
So many great Middle-Eastern groceries.
Glamorous and spotless. Very clean and organized. Nice music and very nice customer service. Some of the prices could be more expensive than others, but hey, you are paying for a premium service and products. You don’t see a rotten fruit or vegetable. They always check them and clean up any mess.Their produce is very fresh and well maintained A+
I LOVE THIS store it has everything we shop for its Halal happy each time. The clerks are wonderful. I PRAY FOR PAPA hope hes doing well.
I love this place. I’ve been a customer since 2000. I have moved away from this area and any time I visit my family I make sure I shop here. Prices are reasonable and quality is good. It’s way better to get produce and meat at international food bazaar than supermarkets. You take more bags home spending the same amount of money. Of course staff are all nice so are the owners. So why would I want to shop elsewhere?
Nice store to stroll around and discover something new from different places of the world. A little pricey but may be worth the authenticity of the products. The butcher shop is nice and has a great variety. Also, check out their kebabs, I found it good. Although, I wish they had more Asian foods.
They have a wonderful butcher shop. Next to that a deli and you can get the best kabob. Delicious. And the variety of food from all over the world can be found here. If you like food and trying different things you need to come and check out the International Food Bazaar. Is a wonderful experience and there is something new down every aisle. I recommend everyone in San Jose to at least visited once because youll go back again and again. The only problem is parking because everybody is there.
Really good kabob and hit food counter...highly recommend it.
You can find a lots of great Arabic and Mediterranea food here, but unfortunately in my opinion the customer service is poor.
The cookies and some breads are old because of delivery from LA once a week. Specially in summer time this store is not enough cool to keep these kind of stuff fresh . If you want buy cookies and bread you should check them because of molds. Their customer service is not professional .
A good selection of middle eastern products with great prices. Would recommend this market to my friends
Nice variety of items and plenty of options. However, there is a woman working here at checkout who is usually all but friendly and courteous!! She is usually frowning and wouldnt say a single word while checking out items. She wouldnt even look at the customer, unless she knows them of course, and and in that case, she would go into long, warm conversations with them. If they really expect customers to come back, they need to show at least some friendliness instead of dealing with them as if they are buying the stuff for free.
If you enjoy middle Eastern or north African food this place is wonderful and the variety of products available is amazing. The staff is super nice and helpful. They have a great butcher where you will find cuts of meat you wont find at regular grocery stores. Walking in into that store almost feel like traveling to distant places.
Clean and quick lines
Phenomenal international market. Friendly staff. Great meat, produce, teas, jams, nuts, deli, etc. Lots of otherwise hard to find, deliciousness, all in one place. Only drawback is aisles are tight and it is well known so it gets busy and jammed up. Will continue to be a regular and support them along with many others.
ONE STOP to do fresh grocery and food shopping.
The employees are not polite and not helpful. Also, most prices are more expensive than other places.
Where i shop for fruits & vegetables on a recurring basis & repeat business should say enough.
Pretty good market with a wide selection of most Mediterranean groceries. Prices are decent, fruit selection is generally above average. They have a deli counter, but Ive never bought from it. The kabob shop inside is painfully slow.
Its a Beautiful Store
In terms of variety and quality of items (especially vegetables), its a really nice and resourceful market. Some of the imported items are overpriced though. The aisles are extremely narrow that you will be stuck with other customers if you pick a cart instead of basket. The staff could be more welcoming and the receipt could be more detailed/accurate.
Great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also meats and olives as well as hundreds of packaged foods from Mediterranean and middle east destinations.I love this place.
Variety of options is very good. A mixture of intercontinental food from Asia, Europe, Middle East and of course America. I now like their counter cashier elders very hospitable and neighborly. A welcoming atmosphere.
Spacious and wide variety of goods provided. Friendly customers services.
This is my go to place to get fruit in the valley. They have lots of other things available that are pretty cool, but their fruit is top notch. The staff is friendly, and when they saw I was regularly buying juice oranges they pointed out some sweet lemons to me to add to the juice for more nutrients. I had never hear of sweet lemons before and was shocked at how they tasted and added to the juice. The store is co-located with a kebab shop, there are lots of special meats, sausages, etc. in their freezers, and lots of hard to find imported canned goods and assorted other items. Be aware that this place is small and during the prime hours it gets very busy. Shop early!
Great collection. Meat is awesome. Halal slaughtered. But parking sucks! Also the aisles are too narrow to shop around
Great fresh produce and great food to go. I really like this Mediterranean market. The only reason for 4 star is the very tight isles inside the store. They just have packed too many things in there
Amazing selection of hard-to-find foods and ingredients. Halloumi! And a delicious little restaurant inside. Also great prices and super friendly.
Huge selection of unique middle eastern foods and items. Vegetables, meats, spices, rice, etc. They even have a small restaurant inside the grocery store. Very busy and crowded. Good selection of middle eastern cheeses. Large selection of puff pastries. Well stocked shelves with great support from the staff helping you find items.
I had fun visiting this shop. Nice, friendly owner(?) took care of us well. Fruits bought there were very tasty. Interesting selection of items; found and bought a few raw pistachios, raw dates on branches and tamarind. Good selection of bulk dried fruits, and a lot of grape seed oils in large (maybe gallon) containers.😁
Best butcher/meat section Ive ever seen in a store! Great produce and wine selection too. Everyone is very friendly.
I wish I found this place sooner. They literally have a whole aisle just for jams and honey! They have so many fruits and veggies I dont need to go somewhere else. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Very neat place to visit. Very diverse selection. Great deli counter. Definitely a good chance youll find what your in need of
Fresh fruit very very nice and also extremely reasonably priced maybe even cheap! However be careful what you pick sometimes its not as fresh as it looks.I have a lot of respect for National because theyve been here forever the start off with a very small store a bodega so to speak and now on the entire shopping center that you have in front of you. Its a family-run business where the brothers and sisters are involved are and so are the mom and dad.Exceptional Quality Foods inside from the Middle East from spices two Meats. Do not miss the restaurant inside the back by the butcher they have fresh food everyday delicious lamb excellent Persian Foods and a selection of olives that is fantastic! If youre looking for fresh food does the place to go for all your breads fruits Meats.
Great place to shop for international foods. I am a chocolate lover and they have great chocolate from all over the world, especially the Cadbury line from England. There is lots of other specialty food here too but I never buy it.
Great variety of fresh produce and packaged food. Especially like the cheese and olive bar selections. Good prices.
Fantastic selection of hard to find gourmet foods. Their selection of meats is outstanding and always fresh. Great produce section as well as a deli with a variety of fine cheeses, cold cuts and olives. Finally, they offer delicious middle eastern cuisine to go such as fillet and chicken Kebabs cooked on a charcoal grill. This place is a gem.
Great market with amazing fresh produce, a huge selection of foods, teas, pastries, and really anything you would want or need from the Middle Eastern and/or Central Asian countries. They have excellent fresh foods and baked goods. They also have good supplies for hookah. I am grateful we have this store in our area.
Everything they sell here is great! The meat is beyond great. The olives are wonderful and they have different kinds you can choose from. Staff is friendly as well. I love this store
First time here. The selection of produce is amazing! The size of the avocados and the price were incredible! Huge selection of canned, boxed goods, tea and other items was great! I will visit this Market again
I have been shopping here for last 2 years and products are always fresh and not expensive. Cashiers are always king and ready to help. Wish you all the best!
Incredible place. Produce is so fresh and there are vegetables that I never thought Id see in North America. I always come out with a full cart of stuff and rarely, if ever, did it cost me above $100. I really wish they expand soon but maintain their quality of products and services
Omg, best store ever! Owner is a gem, will help with anything. Helps to import if you are missing something from your home country. Must go!
This store is very clean with friendly environment and managed very well. The varioty of products and produce is excellent. The staffs are very friendly with superb customer service. Highly recommend this store.
Nice middle eastern authentic food. A little pricy, but it is worth it. They also have ready to eat dishes. Very nice staff.
Amazing collection of middle Eastern, Russian and Greek foods. Loved the biscuits, jams and ice creams aisles.
Very good supermarket with good parking space and also good shopping space inside
Not a typical grocery market for everyone. They mostly focus on Persian grocery options with higher than average quality. Prices are not cheap but not too expensive either.Very crowded and hard to breath in the store as they have many many things to offer. From good hot foods to vast range of middle eastern cheese options.
The Turkish delights are so delicious, a bit pricey.
Wonderful array of middle-Eastern foods, good produce, butcher shop, and some prepared dishes, too. Narrow aisles, only one or two shopping carts, and parking can be a challenge. On the whole, really like this place and shop there fairly often.
Super affordable produce and things you cant find anywhere else!I went there to buy black salt after seeing the price on amazon, I wanted to see if there was a better deal if I could find it in person.I ended up exploring the entire store and left with the black salt, a couple of star fruit, a bag of sugar cane, and a jar of tahini for only 12.75 which genuinely felt like a win.If youre looking for a vast array of spices and less well known ingredients, come here because it was so worth it!
My family has been shopping here for as long as I can remember. Not only does it offer food from back home, but we always find something new and tasty from all different types of of cultures. They also sell fruit and vegetables, in addition to hosting a butcher shop in the side room. I love this place and will keep coming here on a regular basis.
Expanded product, good svc
I like their deli food. Their collection of Mediterranean stuff is also good. Since it is far from Menlo Park, I don’t go there very often but enjoy the 25 minute drive to get the kabab and lamb shank occasionally. Make sure to get the shank broth and drink it with some lemon juice.
