Excellent service and selection! These folks try really hard and care about your experience. We are long time divers and travel a lot (in addition to local diving) and these folks always have top quality products and service - thanks for all of your help! Amazing selection, and Kelsey and Lauren are incredibly knowledgeable (along with the other staff) and really patient at clearly explaining and articulating all the tradeoffs with absolutely zero pressure to buy, which I really appreciated.Went to another shop first and not only did they not have any tech fins my size for over a month, but when I walked into AWS, not only did they have multiple tech fins in my size, but even had all the different colors available as well. That combined with the great staff makes it a no-brainer for me.

One of the best shops for Scuba Diving. They keep track of your profile in case you want to rent again, very handy. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. If you have any question, they are patient to explain and answer. If you rent on the weekend, they refill the tanks for free after the first day, just come before they close. Cant say enough good things about them.

This is my go-to dive shop in the Bay Area. They take time with each customer on major decisions (dry suits, computers, etc.) - and their service shop is also top-notch. On busy days you may have to wait to get help - but most of the time, they load balance well on customer care. As the diving community tends to be very friendly and focused, youll find the same here writ large.

Hands down this is the best dive shop in the area - they not only have great equipment and many choices but they are very knowledgeable and helpful with your selections.My son and his girl friend also just went through the classes for scuba certification and they had a very great experience and most importantly learned what they need to know to have fun and be safe.Highly recommend ANY WATER SPORTS!

Good dive shop, have many choices for diving suit, multiple thicknesses. Also all diving equipment. There is a rental space. A lot of accessories. Mask, fins, gloves, etc.

I do not go to this shop very often as it is a 45 min drive from my house, but I may have to make it a regular stop. I have had regulators serviced there and recently puchased a set of doubles. Their service is amazing. I was called with status of my purchase three times. When I picked it up, it was perfect. The servicing on the regulators was great and all of the shop personnel are professional and friendly. I highly recommend them!

My one and only Dive shop

Recently got open water certified thru AWS. Ive so far been to two dive shops in the area and this one has a better atmosphere with friendlier employees. The owner Ginny is wonderful, as are Austin (my instructor) and all the sales staff. I like Margos no-BS attitude too. Also they have a nice travel section and run quite a few dive vacations which I am eager to try!

Great staff good selection

Ive been diving in Monterey just about every weekend for the past four or five years. There is only one local shop I frequent for gear purchases, fills and service: Any Water Sports. The staff is competent, friendly and efficient. The location isnt super convenient for me but you cant have it all. Seriously, it is worth the drive.

Exceptional customer service! We just went here to find a wet suit and snorkel gear for a Belize trip. Ginny greeted us upon walking in, and helped us through the entire process. There was no guessing at all since were rookies. She showed us the advantages between the cheapest stuff and the higher quality/ more expensive stuff. There was no pressure to spend more. We got out with a wetsuit (20% off), and 2 sets of mask, snorkel and fins for $300. We would highly recommend this place for newbies looking for great customer service!

I have shopped around online and at a dozen local shops, as I advanced from open water diver up through DM and now technical diving. I keep coming back here.They are thorough and safety conscious, but they will not try to scare or mystify you into overpaying for services or replacing more than you need to. They will not act like O2 cleaning a stage bottle is as complicated and expensive as launching the space shuttle. Instead, they will do it in 30 minutes (if theyre not too busy), for less than the cost of a good lunch, and earn a customer for life. Reasonable questions are met with intelligent answers. I like that a lot.Their prices are fair. The top end stuff is spendy, of course, but many things are competitive with even the online discount places once you figure in the shipping. Add the convenience and -- yes Jason, good service -- and it adds up to a great overall value.

There is no other shop like Anywater in the Bay Area, period. The the service is top notch, and if they promise something, its a guarantee it will be done.If youre a beginner diver, *listen* to what they recommend. It will save you thousands of dollars in the long term. They have a very long experience and theyve seen it all. Do not disregard a valuable free advice. The classroom is spacious and the instruction is thorough and fun.Higher level instructors might travel from Monterey to Anywater for a private class, because Anywater is a great place to bump into best divers in the area, from Monterey to Mendocino.If you an experienced diver and know what you want, its perhaps the only shop in the area to get all what you want, in one place. Make yourself clear, and it will be so.When they service your regulators, they actually breathe them personally to make sure youll have the best performing equipment there is. Im speaking out of my personal experience, and Im diving in Monterey practically every weekend.Last but not least, their banked 32% mix is always 32% and their fills are always meet or exceed my expectations.

They stayed open a half hour extra to help us pick out the gear we needed - great staff, super helpful and easy going. We will be back.
