Amazing fabrics to choose from. The women who work there were very nice and efficient in the way they cut your fabric. Great prices. If I’m ever in San Jose again I’ll go there for fabric.

They have such pretty fabrics. My grandmother recently passed away and I need it a really cute blue for her funeral and one of the staff members were really eager to help me out. There so sweet and nice every time I come in very welcoming

Enjoy coming here plus its just down the street from the flea market! Their fabric selections are always full of variety and price ranges whether youre looking for something super fancy or just trying to make a blanket for the little one. They also carry various trims, thread and whatever else you might want to make a custom creation. They also have another smaller store just across if you dont find what youre looking for at this larger location.

I would give 5 starts for their collection. They have an amazing collection. They have town shops across in the same complex. The only thing is like they don’t help you out to find what you are looking for - which was a bit rude. If you are not familiar with the place and new they you have to go through all the fabrics till you find what you are looking for. Also it’s not quite well organized so it adds up as well when you are trying to find your fabric. But yes definitely great collection.

All of us from the Caribbean Community call this store the Friendly Vietnamese The owner and his wife are lovely people and always a pleasant experience whenever Marie and I stop in the shop. They leave us to roam the store for hours because they know we are experienced seamstress looking for some unique piece of fabric for one of our fabulous outfits we are planning to roast up another term for sewing.at the.last minute. Marie is from Panama and I am from New York via Barbados raised shopping in the garment district. This shop brings back childhood memories;for the both of us; shopping with our mothers for material in and around the famous garment district of New York called Delaney Street. Sent my husband to get some PUL from 2 cities away, they said they had the fabric on phone, when my husband reaches there every salesperson is clueless as to what and where PUL is, and my husband returns home after pointlessly asking help from numerous salespeople there and unable to find PUL, ordering PUL online, poor experience with Fabrics R Us!

First time here! Great place for fabrics. Workers are very nice and helpful. I also noticed on the last minute that they have another fabric store called FABRICS BY THE YARD in the same shopping plaza but in the far corner. Going to check it out next time.

I found the velvets, the fleece, the lace, and the satin. Only downside is that I dont think wheelchairs could manuver in this place. But theres a Starbucks across the intersection from this place, so it solves the boredom problem.

Small store that has a very large selection of fabric. It is tight in it but you will find what you are looking for. Parking is convenient around the store, easy access.

Some of the prices here are an absolute steal! Level of service really depends on who you get to help you. I have never bought any buttons or trim here, beyond a bit of ribbon once, but you can get good quality fleece here, for cheap. I like to get fleece to make blankets for friends or to donate during the holidays.

This is nothing like craft store fabric. Be ready to devote a good hour to the 3 buildings worth of supplies. All of your basic mainstays, party fabrics, silks, elaborate beaded meshes, upholstery, faux fur, and extra wide drapery fabrics and all the zippers/ribbons you could want. All at much cheaper prices than retail stores.

My first time here today! So the reviews were mixed but I had about 2 hours to burn before meeting friends for dinner. I took the plunge and went. So I got service extremely quickly -- I tried to pick up the bolt of fabric (didnt know that 😂, I cant recall reviews mentioning it). One of the employees came over quick with scissor (US movie flashback) and said no, no we cut here, dont move it. From there she cut all my fabric throughout the store. Occassionally, checking on me in between other customers. The most expensive item I got was a printed velvet for $8/yard and another printed velvet for $6/yard. Mostly everything I touched was $3/yard but did get a few $2/yard and $5/yard . Very good prices. The sequence started at $10/yard - they told me it was on sale. Didnt buy any but wished I had. If you are into bridal/prom -- they had very beautiful overlays and lace fabrics. They were about $15/ yard and up. Overall good deal and experience. If Im in the area in the future, Id return here.

So torn on what to rate this place and cannot give partial stars...I love a great value! 5 stars for value. 0 stars for customer service...I do value customer service! I would rather pay more and have great customer service than get a deal. However, if youre in the market for a deal this is your place. 😐

Ive been going here for years. A few people have written that there is a poor quality to the fabric. To that I would say, they have the full spectrum. I think its a function of having patience and knowing where to look in the literally hundreds of rolls of fabric. But almost all the fabric is minimum 60 wide which is a bonus if youre designing clothes. Really really high-end / expensive fabric is available at Britex up in San Francisco and I found equals to some of that fabric here. Of course theyre not going to have suiting from Italy or wool from Scotland. But Ive made two wedding dresses from fabric here that were high-quality higher-end pieces. In addition Ive made several suit jackets and a few pairs of pants with some high quality fabric. Be patient and dont just look in the logical places for things.And, yes both places are a mess on the floor, the whole store has a garment industry feel to it. And you cant find the variety and some of the quality at any of the other fabric stores that are local. And if youre heading to some of the great South of Market fabric shops in San Francisco ring me up and Ill come along otherwise, this is what we have with the widest variety and the least amount of gasoline. My go to fabric store for many, many years now. Its not fancy by any means, but the prices are fabulous! Apart from general fabrics, they carry crystals for decorating costumes (for competition), have lots of notions, home decoration fabrics (curtain and upholstery) bridal stuff and more. The attendants are quick and attentive. Bring cash or debit card for extra savings!

Very good selection of fabrics for any taste and purpose. Relatively cheap. Staff is very accommodating. But it is difficult to navigate between rows of fabric rolls as it is often a tight squeeze. A plus is that you can have a sample of fabric you like for free, which is helpful for tests and decision-making process.

I heard about this store from a friend, it has been on my list to visit. It did not disappoint.As other reviews (elsewhere) have mentioned fabric isles are narrow and unlabeled fabric, the collection has no dearth in terms of variety.My main purpose to go there was to get serger threads which are $2 each!I was also looking for Soutache lace. I did not find it in the first store, so I decided to check the other one, where I found 2 colors. The lace was priced 40 cents/yard.Unfortunately, I had already purchased the threads and didnt have spare change/cash.Those who wish to make small purchases, please carry cash. Minimum to swipe card is $10.

In my opinion if you wanna sew a good piece you need a great fabric. This place doesn’t give you such a choice. The fabrics are cheap and the shop seems messy and dirty.But if you wanna experiment or you just need something cheap - you’ll definitely find something there :)

Love the variety of fabrics. You wont find these selections at JoAnns!! And the prices are beyond reasonable. You will save about 50-75% over box-stores.

The quality of the fabrics and products are great and good price but the service was not so great. We werent greeted like the customers before and after us, even though we were all there for the same purpose. I think everybody should have the same customer service because at the end of the day we are all there to spend money.

Hard to communicate with people there. But you will get what you want. I went there showed a picture of what I want and the lady helped to get me the fabric. Not a regular place I go, just helped a friend to get the cloth.

Fabric is pretty cheap and same quality as Joannes. The jewels/gems are pretty exspensive in my opinion. I asked for cheap jewels and they showed me a small bag that was $25 each and it had about 120 individual small gems... Seems pretty pricey but it was last minute and I was desperate. My fault for not planning better! I would definitely come back for fabric but never for jewels.

The store is affordable. I went primarily for the 100 percent wool and the lining which is a blend of fibers. The wool cost $10.00 per yard. The lining was $5.00 per yard. The width of both was 60 inches wide. A bargain compared to the big name fabric stores. Be patient, because the store is crammed with customers, fabric and the aisles are narrow. The store does not have a numeric system in which they call the number and help customers in numerical order.

Extremely rude customer service.

They have the most rolled fabric I have ever seen. Thousands of spooled fabrics, 2 buildings full. Impossible to find what you want you have to ask for help. Or wonder through the massive walls of fabric.

Wish we had a store like this in Washington. Huge select. Great prices. A little jumbled. Had to search for salesperson. As long as you have patience you will probably find what you are looking for and more.

This place is the best go to place for upholstery and other garment needs. There are a lot of variety of fabric and they keep little tools too. Its not fancy but just what I needed to revamp a couch. Other shops in this area is very expensive for no reason. Im not sure why people have assumed craft to cost so much money. Well, Im glad I found this jem though. Its cash only though, so make sure you have some depending on your needs. Also, the staff doesnt speak English too well but if you are kind and patient enough it wouldnt seem like an issue at all. Otherwise helpful people.

Many of the fabrics are left outside for show. The zippers are sold at a really cheap price. The people who work here often leave you waiting for help and interrupt your conversation when distracted by another employee. The fabrics are nice but you have to ask the price of each one.

Its not the swankiest of places but it had all the fabric we needed for a Pepe the King Prawn costume at the best prices. Also got help fairly quickly from floor people even on a busy day right before Halloween. Not so at Joanns.

I hated my experience! the service sucked and quite honestly the prices are not that great. It took 30 minutes just for me to find someone to cut the fabric I needed in the first location, then we went to the store across the parking lot and I found a fabric that we were going to use to upholster my couch, but when they went to cut it they dragged it over this dirty filthy warehouse floor to cut it then dragged it on the floor to roll it up for me to take. I ended up walking out after seeing that and not purchasing anything, That was literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone!!
