Really nice experience every time I go there the people are extremely helpful there’s a lot of things to look at samples are back which is really cool also this is one of the few Costco‘s that they have self check out which makes everything very fast they don’t take cash at the self check out and I believe you can’t buy alcohol there either they have floral department bakery deli and a meat department everything looks super fresh and delicious Great wine and spirit collection I would recommend one thing the people who is in charge of self check out they need to relax a little bit not like we have never seen a self check out they’re a little pushy and act like if it’s first time using it. Maybe if somebody older they need help with that but younger people great chance they have used it before so just give us a little space to breathe.

This costco has a very bad costumer service and even the manager. They are so careless with customers, I have been calling and putting on hold for hours just to reach the manager to check on the item’s status. They said will call back and never make a phone call. I was waiting and waiting but no call from a manager at all. Who would hired an irresponsible manager like that to manages the whole costco. I have been a customer with costco for a very long time and this is my first time so disappointed about this costco customer service. They should have fire this manager and find a better one. It’s just unbelievable just want to find out if the item still there and couldn’t even check it. Bad service.

This is my first time using Costco Optical and I had a very positive experience.The eye exam was thorough and the optometrist explained my options and helped walk me through putting contacts in; I opted for contacts for the first time since I started wearing glasses 10 years ago.I ordered glasses and contacts as well and they took VSP vision insurance which paid for my first 6 month supply of contacts and my bi-focal glasses were $99 for the frame and were only $210 total with progressive lens. That is a great price!

Theres no hot dog worth the cheesy demand for the membership just to get a polish dog these days. In addition to the slow lines and irritating customers, parking is a sad reality as well.

This Costco isnt as populated as other places. For the summer season they usually have some sort of water toys a little later than other Costcos. Gotta check all the walls.like any othe Costco! I liked the Tequila selection they had there, nothing quite like.my uncles meter-tall tequila bottle though!Dont be a nut and drive through the trash cans they put out front to prevent people from running over people walking out of the store to the parking lot. Youre the very reason they put them up.

I went to the Poway store. Its a bit less crowded than the store in Carmel Mountain. They have senior hours 9-10am on Tuesday and Thursday.

Wow! This place is a shopping wonderland! I was amazed! I like how many options there are for merchandise. I went in looking for muffins and came out with more than just muffins! Very cool place 😎 will return when I have more money. Also hot dogs are cheap and delicious outside!

This Costco has a car wash!!!One of my favorite locations. Their fruit selection is always on point. It’s rarely too crowded and their customer service is on point.If you’re nearby, I highly recommend trying the car wash (and there is a gas station too).

Went for Hot Dog, not a member cant buy anymore, changes made in march/April. Make no sense to me.

The kids call this location Costco-land and rightly so. Its not only the largest one in the area, but it boasts a good, cheap car wash on premises, along with the usual gas station and friendly service we all love Costco for. It also has the added bonus of selling Christmas trees during that time of the year! I cant say enough good things about the location, but I will tell you that we pass 3 other locations just to come to it on Saturdays.

My favorite Costco! Have seen same staff for 20+ years which tells me it must be a good place to work. Some unique products and ALWAYS exceptional value.

Its a Costco. If youve ever been to a warehouse store you know what its like.Ive always found what I was looking for, and usually more. You know how it works. You go in expecting to spend $50 and when youre done youve added this or that great priced item and youve spent $150. Go with a list and stick to it.Some of our favorite things is $5 whole cooked chicken. Its a hard price to beat. Choose carefully, sometimes weve found one a bit pink for our taste, and we give it a little time in our oven. We like the croissants, and if you love sharp cheese try the Coastal cheddar. Wonderful. The bread is a great deal for larger families, but two loaves can be too much for us. Unless you cook a lot, its better to avoid buying the huge spices. Dont pass up the real maple syrup if you like it like we do. Its a great price.Plenty of parking including handicapped, and easy wheelchair access.Be prepared for long lines and wait times, especially with pandemic restrictions ending. People are anxious to get out and about.If youre hungry, try the hotdog and drink deal, or the pizza slices. These are served outside and are a great deal.Welcome to the end of mask restrictions here in California! If you are more comfortable still wearing a mask, then by all means wear one. Please remember its a choice, and to respect everyones choice and store policies.Finally -DO NOT blame Americas Asian population for Covid-19. They are not responsible, and many of us will immediately defend them if we see you berating them. Costco has been my favorite place to shop, both the stores as well as online. Ive been with Costco for as long as I can remember, even when it was Price Club. They are my Heros of the retail stores. I always place Costco first before going anywhere else.

Louis, who assisted my Mother and I getting a 65 TV In her car, as well as a ton of other groceries, is AMAZING! Louis is so patient, caring, helpful and simply the best!!! He did not give up hope when we couldnt get our items in the car, and because of his tenacity and superior work ethic, he did it for us! Such a kind soul! I hope he is promoted to corporate, because he is needed there! All the best and please give my sincerest gratitude to Louis!

Huge warehouse club, ample parking, and only two in each line. Awesome experience, but sad since this place would normally be wall-to-wall with people on the weekend before the holiday.If you visit multiple Costco locations, this has one of the best fine wine sections that you will find.

This Costco has always been a favorite. Its among some of the most spacious, especially for South OC. During the pandemic, things have now stabilized, and ALMOST feel back to normal at this Costco, save for some of the mandated density restrictions. Outside of that, this locations food court is outdoors and fantastic, and their customer service all around the store has always been way above average. The meat selection, as its come to be known, is just really, really nice. You can always get a very fine cut of Prime beef or choose from a wide array of fresh poultry and fish. I will say, however, that the beef alternates, such as bison and elk, have never really made it into the daily selections. I would love to see this, though I realize those critters arent farmed at Costco scale, and probably never will be. Not Costcos fault, so no stars off there. The other departments, such as photo and vision, have consistently been a pleasure to work with, even around the insanity of the holidays. All said, I love going here and probably always will; so if youre a Costco location scout always looking for the best mix of everything they have to offer, make SURE to get by this one, as its among the best. And if youve never been to Costco, what the heck are you waiting for?!?! Get in there!

The Costco store is awesome!... they have always done a great job at this location, carwash, gas station, returns, tires center, etc., are all five stars! This review is for one of the outside vendors that Costco insists on using and is harming their good name and repetition. Over the years we have dealt with different Costco outside vendors; Solar panel, HVAC, Dental coverage and autos insurance and I do not know who is in charge of picking these outside business but Costco needs to assess their process. I am going to explain one of the Costco vendors that we just recently encountered, which has caused me to write this review. REBORN CABINETS, INC. the encounter was weird, creepy, unprofessional and a waste of time...As we were leaving Costco we got approached by a very nice young lady and she asked us if we were interested in new cabinets, we are currently remodeling our kitchen so we were interested in what she had to say and in getting a quote. Knowing that Costco is a great company we agreed and gave our information to the polite young lady. Thinking we should give Costco a shot at this, they do everything else great. BIG mistake, these people at REBORN CABINETS, INC are not anywhere near Costco standards. Our first contact was over the phone with a rude REBORN CABINETS, INC. represented by the name Anderson, I think I really could not understand him that well either he had a strong accent or was pretending to have one. Anderson was asking odd questions in a rude tone, if I own the home, (twice) if it was an apartment, if it was water damaged (twice), if I was going to give them 90 minutes to do the presentation. Kind of a hard sell tactic, pushy like a timeshare event. I almost ended it there, but again its Costco they are always great. A few days later a sales Rep showed up on time at the house in an older truck, no big there but there were no license plates on the vehicle, no DMV tag in the window, kind of creepy. Andrew a man in his early 30s came to the door. I opened the door with my mask on and the first encounter was again almost a deal killer. Andrew had no mask on but showed me that he had one and said if I insisted he would put it on. I asked him to wear it and explained that we have a 90 woman in the house and we are being cautious and needed to protect her. He responded rudely by stating that he had, had his shots and did not think it was necessary.  He put on the mask and came in. The whole event took two hours, as he would drag out every topic, he spoke very slowly as if he was thinking one thing and saying another. I am not sure if he was on something or just odd, either way it was an uncomfortable experience to say the least. We were anticipating a normal person and a normal presentation on kitchen cabinet replacement. He gave us his personal view on education and other odd topics as he dragged out the presentation. Being polite we tried to end this encounter as soon as we could. After he gave us a quote for these space-aged cabinets of $59,875, which was nuts. We told him that we would think about it, just to end the event and asked him to leave. Slowly he gathered up his items and left... For us just a creepy event and glad it was over. We have been working with contractors for the past 8 months getting flooring, cabinet and painting quotes never have we had to deal with this type of odd experience. Cost-a-side these are Not Costco type people and I would not recommend them to anyone. After our encounter I did go to the REBORN CABINETS, INC, website and to no surprise found many disturbing reviews, in hindsight I should have none this first before booking the appointment. The whole setup seems like a con job and the creepy experience we had with Andrew in our home was enough for us, we are never going to be using another outside vendor from Costco again. Costco is a great company, but their selection in outside vendors needs to be improved upon. I think it damages their great reputation.

Since I was away from home, the hearing aid center quickly resolved a fitting problem problem that I had with a Hearing aid that was recently purchased from another Costco.

Doesnt really need explaining! Great for bulk shopping, some of their everyday great deals are the organic bananas, roasted chickens and most of the Kirkland products are comparable to name brands but better prices, like the paper towels and toilet paper, and believe it or not, their tequila and vodka! One of my favs at the holidays is the Kirkland Signature Walkers pure butter Shortbread Collection!

Yesterday pulled in to see if I could get my tires balanced and rotated without an appointment. “No problem” about 45 minutes later I’m back on the road. Awesome group of guys and gals... Thank you!

The optical department at this Costco needs to be retrained. The service is very poor. I was very disappointed how the manager handled the situation. Instead of figuring out a solution because the lady in the front misinformed me about their policy, he covered her mistake despite her misinformation. This isn’t the first time it occurs. The employees are very rude and inconsistent with policies. From a business perspective, if a customer is misinformed the staff should take proper action to fix the employees mistake. The optical department needs to be retrained on customer service so the next customer won’t be misinformed as I was. It’s very unfortunate that the optical department has this type of manager representing Costco.

I love this Costco!I have been going to this location a lot more often.It seems like they have more products available and its really clean.And as a bonus theres almost no waiting at the food court.

Back again. Hard to get out of this place for under 2 bills. But I live trying. What can you say about Costco. Get your membership. Get over there and let me know if you manage to get out for under $2 bills.

Employees standing around customer service area are rude and act like its a whole break room. Employees constantly ignore customers in need of help and stand there whispering to each other and chit chatting. They have a, someone else will get to it Im just here to run out the clock attitude. You guys are rude to your members and have zero respect. Your policies are inconsistent and it is clear corporate does not care about customer service or how its members are treated. I would say over half your staff are rude and inconsiderate.

Best Costco in America!! We just moved to the area from Seattle (where Costco is headquartered) and this Costco has it ALL. Truly blown away by how big it is and the great selection of products.

This Costco is just as nice, clean, and friendly as others. The only thing worth mentioning is that following google maps when approaching this Costco can be confusing. That veering to the right shown in the screen cap below doesnt really exist and can be mistakenly interpreted as veering right at the following split in the road. Just make sure you keep left and stay on the same street until you see Costco on the left. Then make the left turn at the lights to get into Costcos parking lot!

The worst Customer Service experience in my life at this location from Cashier ROBYN. It not what she said, it was how she said it and her unprofessional actions. She really needs to be re-trained in Customer Care. I expect a lot better from Costco. Due to her hypocritical behavior, I will not be going to this Costco location anymore. Irvine and Crown Valley stores are much more pleasant experiences.

Best place for everything from groceries to furniture to gasoline

Have you seen the movie, The Purge? I want to create a similarly themed movie here at this Costco. Instead of removing all laws, one day a year, the people who stop in the middle of the aisle on their cell phones, those that park their carts 3 wide to waddle over to the food sample line and anyone who abandons their cart to grab items 2 aisles over are all subject to being rammed by a cart. This wouldnt fix all the problems in the world, but it would be one small step for mankind.The store is very nice and clean and the staff are generally helpful and pleasant.

Customer service, professionalism is not at this Costco. Paid my membership 2 weeks early via email Costco sent. Went in Los Alamitos Costco 3 times no problems.Shopping at Capo Beach Costco membership showed expired. Told membership manager I paid via the internet, went to my car to look on my laptop could not find email, tried phone app for bank, not working.Membership manager said in a passive aggressive manner, these go through all the time this never happens, you need to pay your membership. I was not happy being called a lair in front of employees and other members.Arrived home got the bank information and called store manager and gave them an ear full, not yelling or using poor language but I let her know I was not happy being treat that poorly as a member for over 20 years.Membership manager lied to me regarding a refund via phone once I showed proof (policy you have to go into warehouse for a refund, they did mine over the phone same day as incident.) Contacted corporate office in Garden Grove to let them know of this incident.

Some people that works at the Optical department of this store location need to be trained in proper customer service. The girl I spoke to used Corvid 19 as an excuse not to work with my request. There are about 4-5 customers in line to be served and could be the reason why I was disposed off quickly. I know her excuse is not valid.

They do a good Social Distancing program when you shop. I feel safe even though they get a lot of guests.

Extremely rudeOn duty closing management very poor customer service. I was exchanging an item, issued a store credit, which they then didnt want to honor at the check out as my membership was expiring that day, note not expired. Was asked to step out of line and treated like a criminal.Terrible Management.

Costco. This particular location serves some different items compared to rest of Costco’s in Orange County.Some items you will find here which are not found in other stores:- Mahi Mahi- Opah- Mozzarella di Bufala (flown in from Campagna in Italy weekly)- Urbani Truffles

Love all the holiday festive items. My favorite time of the year. Always lots of choices and varieties. Very kind woman while leaving the store checking out our purchases. I think her name was Phyllis. I also purchased gas and the line waiting was quick. Great experience. Thank you 😀
