Rating a dealership is a bit weird for me, especially since its my first experience with them, but of the 3 opportunities Ive had of negotiating a brand new cars this last one in Lexus of San Juan was the best... and to be fair I hate having to deal with car dealers.The building is clean and beautiful as you will expect from a luxury brand. The waiting area for the service department is well equipped with both spaces for resting or working while you wait for your vehicle. If you dont know this area of San Juan be advised the dealership is located in a frontage road (marginal). Use a map service to get there if youve never driven in the area.The staff was friendly, but you can see the different approaches of their sales staff... from friendly to serious you will find someone there that will fit your style of doing business and they are all quite courteous. That been said my sales executive, Francisco Yariel Pérez, was excellent in all fronts, I have no reservations in suggesting the readers of this review to ask for him or call him. The finance department was friendly and not that difficult as in other dealers, never the less be prepared.Now some tips that hopefully will help your experience be a bit more pleasant and not that stressful. Fight for the price you think is fair on the price, but if you are the kind of person that hate the whole process of offers and counter offers let your sales associate that, in my case Francisco Yariel limited the whole offer and counter offer process to a minimum. Know your credit score ahead of time and what are the offers from other banks that you qualify and dont fall for the dealer first or second offer. Be ready to WALK AWAY if you need to. Let them call you once they consider your offer if it is a fair one. This is really important, ask for the price breakdown once you settle with them in the interest, they will add extended warranties and products to your price without consulting. Have them take those off or in the alternative, if you really want an extra service or product pay for it cash and dont let them add it to your loan. Always be aware they are not in the business of helping, they are there to sell cars, dont take it personal.Good luck in your search for a new car, if you decide for a Lexus, their San Juan dealership is highly recommended.

Expectations... A very complex thing to deal with and profound concept indeed. It requires a healthy emotional intelligence to create the expectation-satisfaction circuit in the luxury market and is precisely that what we found in Lexus de San Juan. Manolo Rivera, Sales Manager and Juan Felipe Cabrera, Sales Associate are without a doubt Connoisseurs of this art.We commit a mistake deluded by our expectations but they provide and elegant and harmless way to amend it. Now we are on track for the 2022s models wich promise to be a beautiful harvest. My advice...Approach everything in life without expectations but if you do visit Lexus de San Juan. They will take care of you skillfully and professionally. JSN.

I felt very welcomed at this Lexus dealer. I was browsing for SUVs and the treatment here wasn’t compared to how I was treated at other dealers which I won’t mention. Excellent service but the labor rates are outrageous. My car had oil change and a A/C repair, time between I was call for the estimate and the actual time my car was ready 4 hrs.... labor price $850😡 Assuming the mechanic was the whole 4 hrs working with my car the rate is over $200 per hour.

The only problem with Lexus IS that they are bent to selling you a new unit. My 2007 ES 350 is anathema to the dealers, and every time I go for maintenance activities, thousands of dollars sprout to pay service that my trusty car needs in the future. Without no symptoms of malfunction! Nice try, but I will buy my next vehicle when I consider it absolutely necessary.Beware.

FRIENDLY SERVICE, TRANSPARENCY AND VERY EFFICIENT

My vehicle had a mechanical problem after a 40,000 ml check up, I contacted the service Dept directly, spoke with mi tech Rogelio, he was extra kind and fast to deal with my vehicle, within 5 minutes I was approached by Mr Alan Bermudez, the service manager, who personally inspected the vehicle along with the technicians, and found that it was a defect in a spark plug, not in any mechanical procedure theyve done, anyway, I was out in less than an hour with my NX as good as new, and with a complimentary gift from Mr Bermudez, now, this is the kind of Platinum service you cant get anywere else but Lexus San Juan, the Profesionalism and dedication of their personnel exceeded my expectations, thanks to all.

Vehicle had a appointment for 9am. 2 pm and nothing was done. Was told vehicle would be ready by 12..whats the purpose of having an appointment?

I went to the dealer for first maintenance service of my lexus nx 300 and also for a noise insise the vehicle. I have the car for approx 10 months. I delivered it at 7:45 am.When I received the car at noon the same day, they give me the suv with the noise and inside dirty with hands grease and no inside cleaning whatsoever

Always friendly staff. The service area is clean and spacious. The waiting area offers hot drinks and snacks for its patrons. I also like the small area for children.

Service was provided as scheduled. The representative (Solimar) offered us a seating area in compliance with the Covid regulations.

I bought a used vehicle there about two years ago. The next morning I saw it was leaking engine oil. Well, I took it to the dealership and told them about the issue. They kept the vehicle and told me they had fixed it. 3 months later, the vehicle was leaking engine oil again. When I told the guy from the dealer, he told me the three months they give, had expired, so they couldnt help me. I ended up spending $1600 on the engine oil leak, I will neve buy there again, nor will I recommend it.

Drove truck 80 miles for service appt. They had my LX570 for over 6 hrs and failed to rotate my spare tire onto after being asked 4 times and they failed to reset my oil service computer. I have “Oil Maintenance Required” on dash after driving 83 miles since Lexus oil change yesterday. Managers won’t pick up phone calls. Nothing like my Lexus experience in Florida. I’m going to switch to the BMW X7 after owning 3 LXs.

Overall good service, but I waited all morning for them to finish maintenance and change the tires.
