Always full of people. Quality of food is great. Great place for a local breakfast and/or lunch. Employees are always available to help. Free local rides after you shop. You will find flowers, deli, bakery, pharmacy, sushi, and many other things. Their alcohol selection is outstanding!

Very expensive supermarket. I will just say as a plant-based eater the few plant-based options that were available were extremely expensive. The $46 I paid for nine items I felt as though I was in Whole Foods only not. The prices for many of their items for rice, fruits, vegetables, were extremely expensive. The staff was polite and courteous as well as the supermarket was immaculate and clean but the prices were downright dirty, 🌍☮️

There seems to be only one person in the store whos able to access the liquor cabinet, and shell only help during checkout. Shes busy with other duties so I had to wait 15 min to get her attention while other shoppers waited in line behind me. Welcome to Puerto Rico, where nothing makes any sense.

Unbelievably slow service. I’ve been here several times now and I think I’ve finally learned my lesson to drive a little farther to a better super market. I’ve been clocking it, and I’ve been waiting in line for 40 minutes and counting. There are only 3 lines open with 20 people long each. Never again!

I like the selection here, but there are always long lines to pay; always. They urgently need more cashiers. Im taking my business elsewhere.

Although the lines can be SUPER long at this grocery store...i MUST admit that I live here! I find the overall customer experience to be quite rewarding as the produce and food selection boasts freshness and vast variety. Customer Service wise...it could use a little work...but overall LOVE this place!

Supermarket like Trader Joes without any fuss, reasonable prices, opened 24/7, having pharmacy, liquor store and delivery - what else do you wish for? Besides staple items you can find gems - ceviche salad or spicy sausage, Puerto Rico Vines and beers. If youre with your best half - sweets section will take an hour.The only downside - some of groceries are labeled only in Spanish, but service personal knows English reasonably well.

Oh, supermax. I love this supermax. They have everything a normal store has plus: sushi, açaí bar, sandwiches, $5 salads, bizcochos, liquor, and more.. their meats and fish are fresher than most in the area. I miss this supermax when I’m not in San Juan😂 BUT THE LINES ARE ALWAYS SO LONG

Parking is Hell on Earth, but shopping is much cheaper than Pueblo. Check it out!

Constantly slow check out. 30min wait times to pay are very common. Avoid this place and go anywhere else. The Pueblo in cuidadela way faster.

Prefer shopping here even though its not near my neighborhood, because its well stocked. Unfortunately theyve been out of Swanson Chicken a la King which is another reason why I shopped at Supermax and for quite a while. Havent found it in any other supermarket.

Always horrible Checkout Experience!!! Never enough cashiers, day or night. Cashiers on duty are slow. Supervisor cashier for Tobacco, Propane and other services is non-responsive chatting with other employees and texting on her phone. Cashiers have to call out Servicio, servicio, servicoooo at least 3 times, on average 5-6 times. TIP: Start calling out Serivio, after there is no response from Supervisor Cashier when your Cashier calls out Servicio for 2/3 time. Join yelling Servico along with your poor Cashier. I found this to get Supervisor Cashier attention from her Texting or Social chit chatting to do her job and actually help the Cashier service customer.

We love this place! Open 24/7, inexpensive prices, and just about everything you need for a trip. I got meals for a week for about $60. Can’t beat that!

Live close by so I go here frequently. It’s a decent grocery store but the line is always so long. They are also suppose to be 24 hours but will often times not let you in if you come after 12pm. I think it is due to the la placitas crowd but it’s annoying not to be able to go to your local grocery store even though it’s technically open!

I love going to Super max, the best in the Island. I drive from Fajardo to shop there! Also, the staff is very helpful and friendly.

This place is super great easy shopping and its close by prices r super as well.

They have a good selection of grocery items....but many are often out! Management clearly doesnt know how to run the business. They have long checkout lines (6-8 deep) and many closed lines...too busy reprimanding customers about social distancing and not focusing!!! Typical!!!

This place is not very clean but I can see why it would be a challenge to keep it clean. Its a 24/7 supermarket with tons of people going in and out. Some Fruits and veggies do not look good. You have to look carefully when buying. Overall it was ok and convenient.

It is not fare to have to wait half an hour in line, in order to pay. You should have more cashiers. And you should have a check out line for seniors. People over 60,70,80 plus years of age, should have this service.

Im from America and I was amazed at the quality of food for the price. most beautiful steaks Ive ever had, $14 for 2. we just dont get quality like that here, and if we do its triple the price.

You wont have a problem finding what you need here it has everything the Grocery Stores in the Unoted States have.

A supermarket that has most of the things that you need or want and is open 24 hours with a Pharmacy. We have gone there a couple of times to get items we would like to have while in Puerto Rico and then items to take back to the states like Ground Coffee which you have to ask for at the register or candy from Puerto Rico for friends and Frosted Flakes??.

This is where the Bell, Book and Candle bookstore used to be. If there is a plaque or stone honoring that former establishment please advertise it. The supermarket is nice having too. Ive been there for comida criolla lunch a few times. The liquor store is upstairs. Nice view of the Minillas Towers from the parking lot upstairs. Navigating the parking lot is a headache, especially given the bad drivers and the expensive vehicles.

The place is smack dab in the middle of it all. I go here pretty much every day. Im here for a month for work and have a week left and its been a staple for me. I get food from the buffet style food bar they have and salads and liquor, they literally have it all. Theres also a beverage/package store above it. Great place to get everything you need for only slightly higher than youd get at home. Way better pricing than the hotel no doubt. Im happy that my work out me in a hotel thats close to everything and it is truly central to it all. I hope that if I am ever back here again for work, Ill be in the same hotel so that I can be so close to this place. Good grocery with pleasant employees.

A very complete supermarket, extended hours to avoid busy ambience, employees provide good services. Complementary housing liquor store The House / Western Union / Coffee shop / Cafeteria / Popular bank and License renovation services-car & others.

Went in to get some fruit.everything was so bright an fresh.

This store has a lot of amenities such as indoor restaurants. But it is very hard to maneuver around the store due to how the isles are set up. Employees dont know where items are located when asked. It is always crowded with long checkout lines.

This Supermax is the better on chain. However is pack during peak hours. Deli is great still need reduce some daily special prices lower and bring more food. Im Humgry Hippo...jaja

Great selection: found my precious over there and even another possible gem. After searching other spots thorough the years, I always return when looking for hard to find stuff. Also, prices do not correlate with this tourist area since they are cheaper than other non-tourist locations. Therefore, there is no need to go further out to get good stuff at a decent price. Too bad its not a hop away for me.

Clean and very well organized. You can shop for groceries and eat lunch at their eat in areaEveryone wore masks, there was an employee by the door with hand sanitizers to dispense those walking in.

Great supermarket with a wide variety of products from other places. Found great chorizo made in Queens, NYC. Felt like I was in a great supermarket in NYC. Broad selection of wines, liquor and local drinks. Great shushi bar and açaí bowls. Definitely recommended.

Supermax offers convenience and a decent mix of products at a reasonable price (for Puerto Rico). However, its very messy, poorly designed and very, very poorly managed. Expect long lines, difficulty finding what you need and a somewhat random selection of products

Good but it was a bit difficult with so many tourists in the middle without putting on the masks. They really making difficulty in the super max line. But in everything else it is quite good and has good quality .But the prices are too high.The Americans tourists are to rude.

Excellent variety of food. I love to bring back some if their authentic snacks to the states.

Seems to have everything the other markets lack. A proper supermarket with all the everyday essentials and more.

Decent vegan options. Gardein meets, some Amys products. They have daiya cheese and tuffutti sour cream. All types of dairy free options ( almond, soy, coconut) Yummy guava sangria. Prices are decent considering the price of vegan food on the island.

I like the store overall. The evening deli crew is very sarcastic so I will not be doing that again in the evenings . I will come durning the day . The icecream is old its been thawed and refrozen thats why it has all that ice on it . Fresh mart has a much better ice cream selection . I bought strawberries here 7$ I went to Fresh Mart 3.49 thats a big difference and the strawberries at fresh mart were the best so definitely check them out ..
