ABSOLUTELY wreck-amended!While this was my husbands first car accident in 68 years of life, Ive been involved in a few over my 63. We cannot say enough about what an amazing experience we had.From initial introduction to post job follow-up, John and Brian were factual, straight forward, professional, polite, honest, and consistent. We we treated like family, very comfortable, excellent customer care.You would never know that our black, classic F150 step side had ever been damaged. Completion of our vehicle was timely and as represented. Vehicle was washed and vacuumed prior to its return.Forget all the other reviews. Rainbow is #1 in paint and body work in San Luis Obispo.

I was unfortunate enough to have 2 drivers smash into my car (one in 2020; another in 2021). The latter accident was by far the worst, and I was overjoyed when I saw that Rainbow Auto Body could make that much damage look like a new car again. Impeccable results and service that goes the extra mile.

This place was hands down the best auto body shop Ive ever been too! It was recommended by Geico and Im so glad I trusted their choice.I wouldve usually chose my own place but didnt have the energy to look around..!This place treated me like royalty. Great, conscientious group of people who are service oriented! Top notch shop. You will be so overwhelmed by their professionalism that referring them to friends and family who need auto body work will become second nature. And, no, this review is not a paid hand. The guys are the real deal. They call you when they represent they will, follow up like they say, and deliver ON TIME. Plus they have Enterprise down the way. I didnt even have to lift a finger to dial them up to pick me up to rent a car. Rainbow had already called them AND THEY WERE ON THE WAY. Cant say enough about this awesome shop. When you entrust them with your care, you will come to know THEY ARE THE BEST!

John and the guys at Rainbow treated me like family. The entire experience from start to finish was quick, seamless, and pain free. They helped me with the insurance claim and rental vehicle. I was surprised when I received a call from David the day after I dropped my truck off informing me the repairs would be done the next day. John called the next day to confirm the repairs were complete. Less than two days from drop off to pick up. My truck looked brand new. I paid them a fair and reasonable price and I was on my way. I recommend Rainbow Auto Body to anyone needing paint or bodywork to their vehicle.

They do decent enough work. I picked this place because of the good reviews. I took my car there and noticed minor flaws after the fact but my kid borrowed the car and scraped the same spot so it didnt matter in the end. I attached a picture of what my dad use to call the wood grain look when paint is applied to a rough sand job.

They went above and beyond in their service and repair of my car after an accident. The communication between Rainbow Auto Body and the insurance agency and myself was excellent.

Amazing Customer Service!! And a Beautiful and Well done job!I was rear ended pretty badly. Insurance company suggested Rainbow auto, so automatically I was a little Leary! This was my first accident and I had no idea what to expect, so I went in there completely defensive! With in two minutes, I was able to breathe again. They took one look at my car, said it wasnt safe to drive, got paper work done and a rental car there with in half an hour, and I was on my way!My major concern was that my car was as safe as it was when I bought it! With in exactly a week they did just that! It looked Perfect as well!I just want to say that I work with the public and its very nice to see that there are still genuinely kind people out there, especially ones that take pride in what they do! We were in the unfortunate situation of having two cars in need of auto body work. John and his gang fixed up both our rides and got them looking great again. They were very communicative and informative during the entire process. John treats his customer like his family member. His staffs have outstanding attitude and hear us well. I have been there for two times this year only and both times they took care of my car in no time. I recommend anyone who wants a quality work to go here without hesitation.

Not impressed. Parking was nonexistent and the first employee I encountered insulted my driving ability. I did not have work done so I cannot comment on the quality of their work.

I wont ever recomend this shop to anyone bad idea to take your vehicle to get fix. Really bad experience for me and family i had to take back my vehicle 4x to them to redo their job but still not fix. I had to take to other shop to get it right. This guy Derek worst person to talk to about the problem about the job they are doing and he consider himself a manager-worst manager ever!!!!!!!

It was a disturbing and difficult day when my cute little Fiat’s door got smashed when someone backed into it while it was parked. However, from the moment I called Rainbow Auto and talked to John, my sadness began to be turned back into joy! John was so friendly, professional, and courteous, and I felt he sincerely cared about my situation. My Fiat looks brand new!
