I cannot encourage Reeves enough! They were able to bring my 26 year old car back from the grave and did so in a timely and considerate manner. I was able to speak on the phone directly with the mechanics as they explained everything to me (no other mechanic shop has done that for me). They ran diagnostics on our 1998 Jeep after it overheated last summer and charged us $10 for a new radiator cap. They’re the best in town

I have been on the hunt for a trusted auto-shop for a while and was encouraged when referred to Reeves by about six different people—including friends who work on cars themselves. I went to Reeves after being seen by a few alternative shops, and I have to say I was really impressed with them. They were able to point out more issues, while being detail oriented and organized. I have never received such a user friendly auto report, complete with pictures and detailed notes. I didn’t have to be a mechanic to understand them. A plus, the receptionist was so helpful and kind, prompt in calling me regarding updates, and direct and communicative about pricing. Clean, organized, and they know what they are doing. Will you get an oil change for $19.95? No. You also won’t have the “$19.95 problems” either. Do your car (and yourself) a favor. Take your ride to Reeve’s they will treat it right and keep you moving down the road.Next, I have to mention this, this was my favorite part. This shop actually recommends future services. Remember when shops used to do that? Remember how those older cars run forever? That’s why! They are serviced before they break! They want to see you and your car moving down the road for time to come. Those recommended services save you time (stranded on the side of the road) and money (replacement of larger components, like your transmission). They use photos and the manufacture recommendations to EXPLAIN things you might want to take care of. No BS, no smoke and mirrors, no slimeball mechanic sneaking in a “oh, well you needed it, so I did it, and I’m gonna charge you for it...” The folks at Reeve’s Automotive are just honest, hard working folks doing the right thing.It is refreshing to find businesses that actually want to put in an honest day, treat you right, and make business transactions pleasant again.

Update April, 2021: I took my friends ride in because it needed some TLC and an inspection. I literally told them, “whatever it needs, just do it...” what actually happened: They took it in, inspected that car from top to bottom, gave us a full report on what was immediate, what could use attention, and some things to keep an eye on down the road. What did not happen: Me leaving there feeling bamboozled by a shady outfit. All in all, her car needed just a simple lube and time and a couple minor parts. Got it set for WAY less than I thought (just don’t tell Reeves, they might wanna make up for it next time, lol!). And knowing that down the road the maintenance concerns can and will be addressed, that is real deal peace of mind. Lastly, I really want everyone to know this part for sure: PROFESSIONALISM. This shop gets it. No blaring and inappropriate music from the shop, no lewd posters on the wall, no swear words flowing like the deck of a pirate ship, just real deal down home people running an efficient and very respectful business. In today’s world, service is king. Get treated right and get your ride treated right while your at it. Reeves is the place to take your’s or anyone’s vehicle for service and maintenance.This place is great. Everyone is very professional and courteous. The service is fantastic and I appreciate their desire to help me maintain my ride. Even going over the manufacturer’s recommendations as well as their own recommendations and giving me the scoop with pictures to explain things I can’t see from behind the wheel. There is no smoke and mirrors here, just honest people doing honest work. Plus, Ratchet is pretty fun to hang with while the ride gets tuned.

Im so pleased to have found Reeves Auto Repair. I brought in two vehicles for alignments that other shops claimed they couldnt do unless they also replaced suspension parts that they claimed were faulty. Reeves was able to align both without any issues. They also located the source of a rattle on my truck that two other shops couldnt find. Its great to have that rattle gone! I also love their detailed vehicle inspection reports with actual photos of my vehicle fluids and air filter so I can see with my own eyes just how dirty they are.

The AC stopped working in my car. We brought it to Reeves Auto Repair to have it looked at. While ultimately we chose not to fix it at this point, they took the time to explain the problem thoroughly and what needs to be done to fix it even though they already knew we’d be passing on the work at that time. They were so kind and very professional.I will 100% be returning for any other car issues I have in and referring anyone I know to them in the future.

This review is well overdue! John is honest and forthright, he tells it like it is. I brought him my ‘05 Trailblazer because it had a strange knock. Turns out a spark plug was cracked.He also diagnosed that it needed new engine mounts. Past mechanics had told me an intake valve wasn’t closing which would require a new head, $4500 repair. John replaced engine mounts for a small fraction of that price and she’s running smooth as silk! Thanks John!!
