Quality Tinting in San Luis Obispo exceeded my expectation! I am beyond thrilled with the final outcome. Took our 2016 Mustang GT in for a makeover, new stripes (old stripes where fading) window tinting and graphics on the side. My husband and I worked with the graphics team on the drawings to get everything perfect. After the final approval, Quality tinting put it into overdrive and got it all done in one day, Unbelievable!! I was expecting to have it in their shop for several days. Their name says it all. Quality has serviced two of our vehicles so far. They wrapped our 2003 Chevy Silverado work truck and made it look like new. They also did some window film on our work truck and my personal vehicle which has helped with the heat and the look. They will be wrapping our work van as soon as we can deliver it to them.

Oh my god!! where have these guys been my whole life I called and asked about the Instagram stickers and I thought Id ask about another sticker that Ive always had a hard time trying to make for the race card he told me right away over the phone they can do it theyre even able to do a piece that I have thats over 3 ft long and two feet tall for the rally car they are amazing they were quick prompt and even made sure the design was exactly the way I wanted it before they even printed it I dealed with Matthew and he was amazing very understanding and even asked me about the build and I respect that and love that about this company you guys are awesome keep up the great work I already got the stickers on all four of my cars!!!

I had 3m tint installed on my car windows, but found out it has a bluish hue to it. Not liking the bluish hue I went to Quality Tint and had them remove 3m and install llumar tint which looks a lot better and blocks out more UV rays to the inside of my interior. Way to go Quality Tint.

Austin did an outstanding performance restoring my headlights from my vehicle. He went over the process in detail and I must say I was very impressed with the results. I am talking about my headlights being opaque and gave it a very clear look. Micaela was great in squeezing me in for an appointment. Overall, very content with the results and especially the customer service I received.

Great experience for the second time in three years. I had my 2007 Mazda 3 tinted, and with their lifetime warranty I feel very comfortable. A few years ago I had my 2014 Tacoma windows tinted to match the rear, which Benji spent extra time to make sure it was the perfect match, and when I sold it three years later it looked exactly the same. Benji answered every question I had, and their work was nothing short of perfect.

From Taylor the manager who gave me my tour of the facility to Austin the owner who actually did the PPF and Micaela his wife and co-owner you can see this is a local family business. Oh yea Im supposed to talk about the quality. To say the least the outcome was near perfection. I would challenge anyone to show me that their red Tesla could look as good as mine. I chose to use the Legend product versus the Suntek or Xpel. I am very happy with the outcome. This is not a cheap process but you get what you pay for. So, I had just got done with the 5-Day 1v1 with Austin. First things first, the place is great excellent service when customers had come in for a quote. Now while doing the Vinyl Wrap part of the schooling, the team and just the overall extremely welcoming each morning. Super nice people and if you had any questions they would help out either looking for something. Even the fact I overheard multiple time the offering a cold beverage while you wait was something I thought was amazing. This was the Owner Austin Cook’s direct quote to me “you need me more than we need you”After a few years of success, ego and money has taken away the Quality part of their company name.Years ago after moving down here to SLO I was looking for a good place to tint. I been going to Omega Tintwerks in Pleasanton since early 2000s, and they are what you called leading experts. Omega would shave the window instead of leaving an edge on the tint, not many places did that.Years ago when Austin just started Quality, I walked in to the shop and Austin was super great and nice, I told him I wanted to make sure the window is shaved not cut with edge. Austin did a great job, and I was really happy. Since the first experience I referred many friends over.3 of my personal cars, 2 of my household cars, total of 5 cars, and a company sign designed by his wife. I even told him about Ceramic pro, and how they should start offering that service, This was all before he went to SEMA and before they moved to the new location.Fast forward to 2020, my company car lease was up, got a new car and brought it in to have my window tinted.I was not 100% pleased with the edge, because you can see the line, and the uneven cut off on the edge, they didn’t shave it, it was cut this time, I confirmed it with their employee Matt. I wasn’t going to say anything because when the window is rolled up you really can’t see it. However, I also noticed 2 small air bubbles. One is on the edge, and one is in the middle with a contaminate inside.Matt was a great guy, and apologized to me and said that the tiny dust is within their quality standard, he can try to fix it for me by maybe melting it away but that’s all. I didn’t believe him at first, because normally at most of the tint shop, they would have to redo it. Especially because I knew Austin used to hold a high standard in his work, that is why I trusted his shop for all these years. Knowing Austin I knew it was something he would not accept, and I told Matt exactly that. I told him to get Austin or Mikayla let me speak with them, and I know they hold their workers at higher standard than other random shops, their shop is literally called quality.Austin came out very unfriendly, I even had to ask Matt, was I being rude or angry or something? I was very clam and simply want it to get it fixed.Austin said the bubble is totally okay, and ask what I want them to do? I said just fix it, Austin said “Absolutely NOT”. I tried to explain to him, I’m trying to give you some feedback on your work, and I don’t think the bubble is acceptable. He refuse to fix it and as I pulled out my camera and he said it to the camera loud and proud. “My name is Austin Cook, from tintstute, there is a contaminate in the bubble and it’s a great job.” Please check out the video below to see it for your own eyes. My wife couldn’t believe it, as they were so nice before. I wish I got the next line on camera, but I Quote “you need me more than we need you.” I was appalled when I heard him say that.Matt was still trying to offer to fix it for me by trying to use a heat gun to melt it away, Austin told Matt: lets go, we are divorcing him, and proceed to walk back to their shop and shut the gate behind them. You can see in the 2nd video of them walking away leaving me in the parking lot to just go away.I honestly feel more pity and sadness for Austin than mad at his company. It’s just a window to me, but he let his ego takeover and he was ready to take the business with him down hill. No matter who you are, the day you tell your customers they need you more than you need them is the day your business starts to decline.Whoever reads this review and see the video, will have Austin’s clear acknowledgment that IF there is indeed a bubble found after their job has been completed, such as a contaminate on your window, they won’t fix it, because it’s within their “quality”. It’s a great job according Austin. He called himself the leading expert in Northern California.

This was my first tint experience, and Quality really took care of me. They have a very clean and professional shop, with large tint bays to keep your car out of the elements while getting work. Over the years they have tinted 4 or 5 vehicles for me. This last experience was great as well. I had some bubbles appear in one of our cars and had to get a new car tinted. They handled both on the same day and did the warranty repair for the bubbled tint. 5 years later and their tint was still fully covered, awesome. Both cars look great now and their tint jobs are the best around. Will be bringing them another car in the near future for sure.

We have an annual corn hole tournament at the ANRA spring nationals after qualifying.
