The store was great, they were helpful until they said the item I wanted was all gone! I told them I had called before driving 40 mins. for the table and they confirmed they would have it. I had a little argument and until a lady went to go look for it, she found it! I was glad but the guy had upset me because he went to look twice and both times he said they had sold out!

Nice place you can find there any you are looking for your house needs. Such as little things to big for example there are things for kitchen, living room, office, storage, bedrooms. Food and utensils. Toys for kids, items for laundry, and a lot of more items. I highly recommended this place.

Customer service is horrible and workers rude. Instead of profiling customers who are doing absolutely nothing but shopping like everyone else, management should invest in customer service training for its employees- create a better experience for all shoppers. There were two cashiers at checkout-one busy helping a customer with a basket full of items and another who just randomly walks away even though there were three of us waiting in line with no acknowledgement of any kind. Prices and store organization also need adjusting. I will NOT visit this location again.

I was very disappointed with this store. For what I was looking for, the shelves appeared to be very empty and the entire store was somewhat disheveled. I dont know if this store just isnt doing well or the purchasing agent just isnt doing their job, but this is the first time Ive ever been in a Big Lots and seen such a lack of product and presentation. Again, I live in the Sacramento area and Ive never seen any of the 4 Big Lots stores in our area in this condition. If theres no product you cant sell. If you cant sell, whats the point??

Big lots was a great experience a lot of helpful Employees in the center. Employees in the centre swing which direction for all the items they needed. They have hair products and food and car cleanimg supplies as well as house hold cleaners.. they also have a small electronic sections also.... good prices but u get what u always pay for

This Big lots is unorganized doesnt have any stock and theres no employees and theres one employee at the register there was people in line with carts full of stuff its the second or third time Ive been there over the course of a couple years and I dont know why I went back but I did and you can just tell that the management doesnt do anything to restock items theres items in the wrong places theres makeup scattered everywhere it just looks horrible and I love Big lots I do Ive been going to Big lots for 30 years and this Big lots just really puts the company to shame they really should find some new management and they did not even care that people were waiting so long in line the lady at the register said can you guys just all be patient the register is down needs to be rebooted and I cant find anybody to come to another register this was the manager I cannot believe that that is just beyond unprofessional I and not only that they jacked up their prices just like most of the other stores did during this covid and all this other bologna that is going on the toilet paper is through the roof the sanitizers through the roof the cleaning surprise supplies are through the roof you think that you know a discount store that we rely on would keep their prices somewhat reasonable but when you got to pay $6 for a hand sanitizer thats getting out of control I would really like to have the corporate company give me a call back Id like say I know people that could whip that place into shape in 2 days and get those employees doing the right thing cuz none of them do anything to help they act like theyre annoyed if you ask them for anything shame on them there is one other big lots i would advise to stay away from and that one is Hayward Big lots and Richmond Biglots

I found what I was looking for it was a good price. Store was a little ransacked. Staff was helpful.

Unprofessional. Lack of customer service. Employees cussing and complaining. Price tags missing on many items. Low stock supplies. I enjoyed going here 10 years ago. I dont know what happened but this location needs a lot of help.

You are better off buying at Walmart or target as this place is overpriced on many items, This place use to be great for bargains but now Its doesnt make any sense to shop here.

Maybe because of the pandemic, this Big Lots store is inferior to the one in Hercules.The store in San Pablo moved from its original location across the street.It was known as Macfrugal before it became a Big Lots.The change over to Big Lots became better over time. It was well organized and the shelves were stocked.I have gone back several times to pick up over the counter meds for seniors only to be told they will have new product the next day. This has been day 3 and the medicine has not been restocked.They were also out in the Hercules store this time, but I was able to get it there on my last trip when the San Pablo store was out of the same product.The one other compliant is they dont have price tags on most of their food and can items. You have to wait a long time to get an answer.It would be nice if folks in the supervisory positions will read some of these comments.Maybe then, their stars will rise slowly from a 3 to a 4, and possibly a 5.As is, all I can say is Im somewhat satisfied but not pleased.

This store is a weak Big Lots. Not much stock or variety. The furniture section takes up a LOT of the store. Hercules store is way better

Displayed price and advertising price (on sales price) are same thing to them but yet when receipt shows price with discount that’s a system error instead of just helping the customer and correct it to give them what is advertised. So warning they don’t charge what is advertised. Manger is rude along with cashiers

Poor customer service in the furniture department 9/19/20. Made purchase 9/5 and realize couch on back order will not fit living space. All I wanted to do was speak to a manager who will be able to help with transaction of an exchange. Between 9/14/20 to 9/19/20, I visit the store 3x!! No manager available to help with transaction. Today I went in just to face a rude staff who claim she is the furniture manager but unable to help me and had to call regional to get an answer but couldn’t tell me how long I’ll be waiting for a response. She has no drive to be helpful! Instead she preceded to scold me for waiting 14 days but yet she has no clue this is my third trip to the store in one week. These staff need more training to have better customer service

This place has really been Ram sacked, there is literally nothing at all worth buying currently as of the end of July 2020. Quite literally five different selections when it tasty candy. Maybe four or five things in the technology department all of them being Chargers, just cables. The one thing that you currently have is an abundance of furniture.

A few small, but it does have what I would want in this area.

Good Place near in my area Big Lots. The moment I stepped in their shop they greeted me and accommodate me and help me to find on what I needed. I love their furniture in here very nice and high quality. I ended up buying dining table set and and couch. Great deals. Great place.

I was impressed with the clealiness of the store also very well organized. One of the store staff was rude & unprofessional. The young lady was black. This occurred 4/24/20 around 12:45 pm. Shes my reason for the 3 star rating and not 5. When are you guys gonna get carts? As per staff they were stollen. All of them!!

Extremely organized, well kept store with employees that seem genuinely happy, this location looks like its part of a higher-end chain. They sell food and take EBT making it a one stop shop for people who need to save as well as those who have to.Big Lots has great deals, sometimes with lower quality on the bigger ticket items, like furniture, but its still great value for the price. For every day purchases and lower cost home goods, youre usually simply getting a better deal for the same brands and quality youd find anywhere else.

I billed for 2 sofa on September they said it will ready for pick up after up to 6 week after still I didn’t received any called or received information then again they extend 3 more week again they didn’t give me my sofa still not I’m going to refund soon . They just used my money for 3 month. Waste of time waste of money .

Its really nice to see Big Lots in a newer & bigger facility here. This is much better than where they came from on San Pablo Ave. However, one has to be on alert at all times due to the way too many questionable people lurking around in this area. Make sure that vehicles are locked, alarmed & nothing inside is visible.Other than that, the store is nice & the staff is somewhat helpful.

This is definitely the place to go for paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, napkins etc. The prices for these things in the grocery store and other shops are 2-3 times more on average. It is also a must stop for any holiday or event that requires something for a child. They always have products with the latest and greatest characters and for reasonable prices.

Good prices, wide variety, pleasant staff. What more can you ask for? Always packed, but thats because of its popularity.

This place is the best bit they just dont keep it stocked. That wont stop me from going there

(Must read)Oh boy. We were literally just trying to buy a bunk bed and the customer service was TERRIBLE. I’m not exaggerating we asked them and the women checked in the back but then she went back to her register and never came back until 30 minutes passed and we ask them she did the same thing again and 30 more minutes pass and then she went to go help another costumer and each time forgetting that she was attending us then almost 2 hours passed and a new lady helped us and then the old one came with such attitude and was like “oh did you guys even get help if not I can’t help you”. My whole family was mad because she was helping us but left us waiting for almost 2 hours.

The move to San Pablo Town center is a smart one considering it became a better store in terms of items to choose from.Awesome deals, good service. Keep up the good work!

On Jan 12/ 13th I believe it was on Jan 12. I had a bad experience there. He either was a Supervisor or Manager.. black guy in the front of the store kept staring at my bag I walk in with. He gave no customer service whats so ever. Just staring down at my bag when I asked him about it he got real unprofessional about it like real hoodish mentality. I asked where the restroom was and then afterwards i asked if they accept a benefit card. If he would of provided exceptional service there wouldnt have been no bad experience to begin with. I spoke to headquarters right after too.

Wow, I just walked into this store and it’s pretty bare. They’re closing this location to relocate. The one star isn’t about that though, it’s about an associate. I asked the short Hispanic looking associate about why the store was closing and she was so rude about it. I wish I had gotten her name. It’s not hard to enlighten people about changes to the store you work at. It’s just moving across the street, not like she’s losing her job and she’s bitter about it...

Now dont judge me but I love Big Lots im 26 and just found out about the low prices they have for name brand foods that normally cost an arm and a leg at other stores. Anytime i go in there i walk out with more than i expected.

More expensive than Id hoped😟 went in there for kitchenware (pots etc) & in my opinion🤔 they were a bit pricey!!! but some of the brands are good quality merchandise, but I got great deals on their Windmill cookies & Lemon Oreo Thins - expires on April 10th & April 20th, by the registers, so they sold for $1.00 each box/pckg👌😂😁 so that almost evened the scales... 🖐
