Great store to shop pretty much everything you may need at home from clothes, books, toys, patio furniture, kitchenware and electronics.If you know what you’re buying and if it shows up in stock at the store using Target app, do order online and pickup/drive-up and the staff will bring it to your car in the parking lot (marked as Drive-Up). Super easy and saves you a ton of time. Often clothes & furniture items are easy enough to order online and pick up at the store.

Target San Rafael consistently carries a wide variety of super cute womens fashion in inclusive sizing. I am often complimented on outfits I have purchased there, and folks are surprised to learn it was a Target purchase. They often comment that their Target doesnt carry those same items. Im thrilled that my local Target carries such beautiful items, including designer collaborations.

Their app and parking lot delivery worked great. I use the Target app and website for seeing if they have a hard-to-find item available and in stock. I order it online and wait for the confirmation that its available. I tried their curbside pickup for the first time (actually a designated parking area), provided the app the parking spot number, and it took the runner 37 seconds to show up! I told him they were spoiling their customers. I avoided a long walk down the aisles to see if the item was actually in stock. Great time saver.

I can actually go to Target and find out about an abundance of products. I love Target and want to support them.

The store is spacious, and the staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Life in Marin...seems to result in a friendliness and whole-heartedness...for those lucky enough to live and work there!

The guest experience at this target is phenomenal!! I wish I got the woman’s name who helped me out but she went above and beyond to find me the deodorant I’ve been searching for. I bought every last one they had because they’re a hot commodity (and I’m obsessed with the deodorant). Always a great experience here and I am so grateful for the employee that helped me out!

Target is great! I can usually get everything I need with a trip to the San Rafael store or through mail order.

A nice big store, lots of things to look at. And it has a Starbucks with the best views of the bay in marin.

This is the best Target in CA. The view is stunning, there is tons of parking including EV.It’s very spacious and during the blackouts, they allowed the community to charge their phones and hangout.I respect these employees working through a pandemic and having to pick up after lazy people. For the most part they have everything in stock with many options. 💚👏🏽👏🏽

I would not recommend many Targets. But the San Rafael Target is one of kind. Every associate I spoke to treated me with respect in regards to finding my items, the manager Richard definitely made me feel like a valued customer, and Jonathan from electronics went above and beyond to find me my items and I walked away a satisfied customer. This is a good team willing to help me after so many other targets were not nearly as helpful. When I think of Target, Richard and Jonathan are what I exemplify as good Target associates.

Everyone at the store is super friendly - checkers are great. Prices seem to fluctuate a bit though ... it seems that vegetable prices are skyrocketing!

Big, good stock, well kept inside. Offers drive up pickup which is very useful for pandemic shopping. Pre-pandemic it was always well staffed and I never had a long wait in line. I’ve only been inside at quiet times since pandemic so same still applies as far as I know!

You either like target or not. I am more on the not side. Too many products made in China and you need to be careful about food prices. One nice thing about tbis store is the view from the parking lot.

Target was almost totally empty at 9 am. It was a little unnerving having employees follow me around the store... but maybe it was just actual scanning every item like they were actually doing? Whatever. The floors are super well waxed and shined.n

I really should have gotten the woman’s name but I was there last week just getting some normal household items with my partner and I heard an employee say that when she was putting out some high demand items people went crazy and swarmed her. She was so sweet and she offered us some of those items before putting them out, it was something we really needed to but kinda gave up on looking for. She’s also asked us if we needed anything else and was willing to help us even though she was on her way out for her lunch break.I just thought it was really sweet of her, small things like that are really awesome. I hope that the employees like her that are working hard during these crazy times but still keeping such a great attitude are being compensated!

Target is amazingly easy to navigate and more than enough people willing to help if you need it. The Target in Marin is peaceful and if you need help the manager Eric will gladly help you with a smile. I will take the drive every time to receive amazing service.

I purchased a large flat screen TV and not only did the woman at the register make it easy for me to complete the payment at guest services where I picked up the item, Sara and Alex brought it to my car and put it in the car for me. I am so thankful for their assistance!! 5 star service!!

I got great curbside service but the two items I got I need to return and I dont find an option for returning safely i.e. without going into the store, I am over 65 in an area where COVID risk is high and not worth taking risks.

This target was great. They had good selection of tops and were in good quality at a fair price. Staffs were helpful and were well-mannered. Every visit was worth it.

Everyone was real and honest and deliberate.

This Target has a great view and a great manager. There was a hand sanitization and mask station when we walked in as well as a whiteboard showing which essential items they were out of.

This is the best target to get coffee, the view is amazing the place is very clean but the BEST part is the service, ELU is her name, she is the BEST always happy and ready to help.She is the reason why Im always come back. Good job Starbucks and Target for hire good people like her.

It’s surprisingly easy to shop here after work, compared to most other Target stores. Aisles are typically well-stocked and clean; checkout has rarely been slow

The service has gotten much better and I just hope Target changes the policy that enable me to write the first 2 star review below.The pick up part was fast and easy, but after doing that I had realized that I had chosen the wrong color and I tried to return one item, but the app wouldnt allow a in-store return and the cashier could only give me a in-store credit (not usable online) and the item I wanted (different color) was only available online, so now I have to print a label and send it back. horrible system, bad experience

Target department store was always been a great for me. Love to shoppe here from tops and denims wear very well organized store. Their staff here were very helpful and well trained. They are happy to serves their customers.

I like Target, particularly since they expanded their produce area. It is very convenient to mix purchasing clothing and home accessories with groceries for the week. Self service checkout rocks.

I was really frustrated that you indicated if I downloaded the Circle app, I would get discounts. I took the time to do it, gave you the information you requested, and when I went to the register, I got zero discounts. They told me I needed to scan each item myself with the app to get the discount. Really? That is not how things are done these days. I ended up over paying for the items instead of getting the discount I believe I was entitled to get. I feel you owe me money.

Grocery prices too high. If u cant get a can of veggies for .99 cents or less, the price is NOT right. Altho i was able to get abag of baby carrots at FMV (fair market value) (99 cents)

This is a super Target. Its bigger and has a Starbucks. A little out of the way, but beautiful view from parking lot and clean store. Great selection of items. Never been here when crowded before.

This store is amazing. The people who work here are very helpful and professional. The only thing that would make this place even better would be if they had a full deli that serves sandwiches and the like.

Staff was great and super friendly especially the cashier James! I went in there pretty late tonight and pretty sure I was the last customer and they were all very patient. James even still offered and explained the red card! Even though I was trying to be quick I never once felt rushed!

Where else but in Marin can you shop at a target that has the best views out of any large shopping chain. Its actually nicer to park and enjoy the view outside than run in to the crowd. But, this target is probably one of the nicer one around. Very good customer service.

This is a smoothly adjusted store adjusted to the coronavirus era. The self-checkout watchdog was the smiliest actively-cleaning and most understanding. She showed absolutely zero stress for those many customers with many different methods of keeping their homes free of the virus.

The customer service reps at the counter and the cashier took their time to help me as a new red card holder and user. I had been impacted by the California wildfires and they helped me to fill normal again and I really appreciate their time and patience with me.

This target definitely has their you know what together. Well stocked, clean and organized. It has the usual snack food establishment and a Starbucks inside. It also has probably the best outdoor views of any target, period.

I want to give a shout out to the two employees who were helpful and very cool with my return of a large furniture item yesterday. The young gal who wears a head scarf at customer service and the tall blond haired guy (Bob?) helping the front of store folks really made returning my large item easy. The guy (Bob?) came to my car in pouring rain with the flatbed truck to get my chair out of my car for me, and the gal at customer service went out of her way to calmly get the item number of my chair for the return when the box itself didnt have a scan that was needed for the system. These two employees are star ambassadors for their store. I will happily continue shopping there. Thanks you two!

This is a very good store, Im surprised I havent been coming here more often. The store is very clean and they associates there are very friendly. They have a great selection for girls clothing and their prices are some of the most affordable that Ive seen without sacrificing quality

Its not the I interior of Target thats getting 5 stars- its the view from the parking lot of the bay that is spectacular!

I like this Target for its convenience - the store is well-organized and well-stocked with essentials. I like the spaciousness of the store, and that it’s well-lit. I enjoy wandering the isles just looking at the home decor stuff.

Its great that you installed so many electric charging stations, unfortunately theyre mostly blocked by non-electric cars. Please ensure that only electric cars use these spots for charging.

Target is todays version of The General Store. They have what Im looking for in most categories and its always a good product at a good price. Plus theres plenty of free parking and theyre open until 11.

One of my favorite Targets in bay area. No complains. Always good choice of products compare to other target stores.

They dont honor posted sale prices or promotions, I left a bad review and the store manager, Nina emailed me right away. I explained what happened, even included a copy of the receipt as proof of my claims, and she didnt care enough to follow up on it. Poor customer service...

Target offers good prices and items that can only be purchase there

I purchased 8 items at Target today. Four of them had sale tags in front of them on the shelf. When I got home and studied my receipt, I realized I’d been charged full price for 3 of those 4 “sale” items. This is not the first, or even the third or fourth time this has happened. However, I usually look at my receipt before I leave, and I mistakenly failed to do so today. Having worked in the retail industry for almost 30 years, I realize that there are large penalties assessed by the state of California for incorrect scan data occurring at the cash register, especially when it is a regular occurrence. Even though I like the store, I am contemplating not shopping there anymore, simply because I don’t want to pay more for my goods than what is advertised on the shelf, as it is offensive to be taken advantage of by straight up incompetence.

During this pandemic, your store was very clean, weren’t a lot of people, the products I needed were there, I felt safe.

Although I wasnt in favor of placing a Target at bay view location (how about a park or housing) the result is a convenient and modern Target with stunning views and free electric chargers (unless theyre occupied by non-electric vehicles or shopping carts).

Place doesnt carry some things I find online but I like that the place is spacious and not crowded
