My wife and I ordered flooring from the San Rafael store at the end of May. The salesman, Christopher Lyon, was very good. I found out later that the item was back ordered and would not ship out until July 28. Last week I called to find out if it shipped. Tom returned my call and told me that our flooring has shipped and it should arrive on Thursday, August 5. I asked Tom if somebody would call me to let me know it is in. He said yes.I never received a phone call saying that our flooring had arrived. So, on Saturday, August 7, I drove down to pick up our flooring. I walked in and the only salesperson was not masked. I told him I was there to pickup my flooring. He said that they dont do pickups on weekends because the warehouse person is off; that the truck is parked inside the warehouse and in the way; that he is the only person there and he cannot go back and check; and that he just got in.I asked him if he could check his computer to see if our flooring was in. He got visibly angry with me, raised his voice and said: I told you, I just got in.He eventually composed himself, said sorry, put on his mask, checked the computer for our order and told me that my flooring was in.So, good customer service depends upon who you get.

Today I had many questions about Vinyl flooring and Christopher Gibson, sales person was so great at explaining the acoustic sound issues of the flooring. He took a lot of time and was very knowledgeable.

We met Chris and he took care of us very well. Great advices and recommendations for our wooden floor. We will buy there since he made it so easy. They have a great selection of woods from rustic to contemporary at all prices.

What a great store with quality carpeting and expertise of the staff. Thanks Tom Buntin for stellar service. And fair pricing the installers were right in time and very cautious in this crisis time. These people are the best! After being contacted by Gary and receiving the exact samples he recommended, we made our selection and it was on....he got the flooring together at the delivery warehouse, but held it up as he didnt like the options for the trim pieces offered. So he did research and found better matches for all three needed styles, and he was way right...much better match. He kept me updated daily (3 days worth is all but to him it was important I knew where we were.) once delivered (Im installing myself) he would call every other day to see how I was doing and to give advise and encouragement. Best price I found, top quality flooring,( I spent a month shopping them all) and best sales and support staff in all Northern California as far as Im concerned. Thank you Floor Store and especially Gary. You get my next project too...!!GJ

Gary Abel was professional and very helpful through the process. I gave him our budget and color scheme and he was quick with the proposal. He also informed me of savings options available which I thought was pretty cool. All in all, I had a great experience shopping at the Floor Store and will be doing business with them in the future. The team at the floor store were great. The product I purchased was competitively priced, my order came in the day they said it would, and they were responsive. Tom, the manager would respond to my text messages which I appreciated. Overall great experience and I will go back to purchasing more flooring for my house.

I visit the floor store and I met a guy named Chris I walked in and approached him and told him that I needed some carpet for my business and that empire had a special for 599 he told me he would beat that showed me a few things that I like I picked out he came up with a price of 799 I was happy I waited for the measurement guy to come which he was very upset because I told him I was going to give me three minutes to park and he wanted to live right on the spot they measured and told me they would get back to me within 24 hours and that was really three days later I waited for them for 10 whole business days and when the final proposal came they shot me with a price of $2300 And when I walked in the store there was no one there and I was telling the manager on the phone that their employee gave me a price of 799 and the manager said well I was right there calling me a liar and I didnt see no one in the store do not go here if you want to get 😡ripped off our scammed out of your money the floor store is a rip off rip off
