Took My truck to them for front and rear bumper repaint. They assured me it was gonna match. It didnt. They took a week longer than I was told because they where waiting on a OEM bumper. They didnt get me an oem bumper. Then to top it off they used a dirty old towel to dry my truck and left heavy swirl marks all over my truck. Im very delicate with my vehicles and always use clean new microfiber towels when washing my cars. I went to them to discuss the problems and was promised a buff and polish for the whole truck. Once I called to schedule a day I couldnt get a hold of Victor the 2 or 3 times I called even left a voicemail. Never received a call back. Now 4 months later with nice sunny weather coming up Im coughing up $800 out of my pocket to have my truck buffed and polished. Smh.

Everyone at Mendelson is very professional and make a personal connect with the customers. Jose treated me his personal friend, understood my needs very well and exceeded my expectations. Good quality of work is always important but I feel how I am treated is equally important. I don’t think I would go anywhere else after getting the body work done at Mendelson auto body.

We went to Mendelson Auto Body for a small paint chip on our Audi and Jose did a touch-up on it for free. Everyone was very friendly and we even got a tour of the enthusiast cars that they had there. It was a fun experience and would definitely recommend going there.

The best autobody shop I have used to date. The owner Jose is genuine, customer centric, punctual tries to understand the customer need and personally actively involved in managing the business. I had a cracked /broken side mirror in my car and Jose implemented a very cost effective solution in only 30 mins the same day. No upsell or any unnecessary work. From now, this will be my first stop if I need any bodywork done on a car.

Mendelson is the real deal. Their work is impeccable, and they really stand behind it too. For one job, I found one little imperfection that slipped through their QC process, and Jose repainted the whole thing without question. They are very professional and communicate clearly, which makes scheduling drop off and pick up a breeze. I entrust my red Tesla to Mendelson Auto Body, which is the only place I take all my cars. Many car dealers use them too. They are that good. I recommend them whole-heartedly.

Awesome service!!! They had a rental car arranged for me at the time of drop off and pick up. They made sure to communicate the return pick up date well in advance and kept me well informed of delays. Lisa was awesome with her responses. His crew found that they could source some used parts (that were just as good as new), and reduced the final bill. Terrific follow-up and follow-through.Had it not been for Ted, my F150 Scab FX4 would have been written off as a total loss. A very well run auto body shop. They did great body and paint work on my car. Ted provided me with excellent customer service and follow-up. The scratches on my vehicle were minor.However, since I had purchased the car 5 days ago, I wanted a body shop that was top of the line and offered a very reasonable price. Ted came through on all fronts and I was quite pleased with the results.Its nice to know theres a local body shop doing good work in the east bay.

I took my car to Mendelson after it had been hit in a parking lot. Im sure glad I did, because the work they did was fantastic and my car was ready a day earlier than promised! I love my Lexus and I will only use Mendelson in the future should there be a need for body work. They are a pleasure to do business with and are very professional.

Last week I was involved in a car accident to where I did not know where to turn. I called my regular mechanic and he referred me over to Ted at Mendelson Autobody. After meeting and talking with Ted, I could tell that he was a very knowledgeable and honest guy. I left my car in his lot for the next week in the meantime while the insurance adjuster decided what to do. After determining that the car was totaled, we knew there was no point in repairing it. The car was then released over to a towing company where they would take it to an auction yard and it would be gone for good. I called Ted last minute and told him about all the aftermarket parts I had in the car that I did not have the chance to recover due to my job. Ted was very understanding and spent over an hour taking out all of my electronics such as all 4 speakers, deck, sub woofer, and an amp. I am truly grateful for Teds act of kindness, even when there were no repairs being done to my car. I had such a fortunate and great experience with them and I would highly recommend them to everyone else.

To find a reputable body shop, I checked out Google ratings for body shop businesses in San Ramon. The reviews for Mendelson were excellent so I took my Suburban in for repair. It wasnt for dents or dings; I needed the automatic liftgate repaired. It didnt open, or close automatically and didnt latch. So I needed someone that was part mechanic, part electrician, and part body repair expert. In addition I needed someone to give me a lift back to my other car when I dropped off the Suburban.The people at Mendelson gave me a ride, fixed everything and charged me a fair price that was much less than I feared it might be. Im not affiliated with Mendelson Auto Body in any way, Im just a very happy customer. And judging from the other reviews, Mendelson makes sure that all of their customers are happy.Highly Recommended.

I was involved in an accident while my car was parked and my friend recommended to Mendelson body shop. They were entirely transparent with the estimate and extremely patient with my busy work schedule.When I finally was able to have the work done, they did it in 24 hrs and even quickly washed my car. I am a huge stickler about the details and always dislike being able to tell when someone has been working on your car, whether its exterior or interior, but I was met with no surprises.I will definitely be bringing my baby back to them to remove the key marks soon.

Painter came in early to finish job one day under projected date so I could have car for holiday weekend. Repairs were IMPECCABLE. Car looks absolutely perfect! Went there for an estimate my front bumper, and was told by Victor that they would get back to me that day or the next day. Didnt hear anythng from them since, even though we called back a couple times. The receptionst kept saying that they will ask Victor to work on it. Work on what? It has been a week and they have never getting back to us. They could have just told us from the beginning that they didnt have have time to do a samll job, we could have gone to somewhere else. Thats is not a prefessional way to deal with a potential customer even though it may be a small job and out-of-the-pocket-without-insurance-involement- job. An almost-five-star auto body shop doing business in the area likes San Ramon? This is totally unacceptable business practice.

Theres a reason why Mendelson Auto Body has 5 Stars. They are that good. Extremely genuine people and knowledgable about cars. Another shop had quoted me for items I didnt need. Ted was honest from the start. I apprectiate that.Lets hope I dont need to get anymore bodywork on my beloved Mazda. But if I do, Im heading straight to Teds!
