I had a wonderful experience getting an estimate for a turn signal that wasnt working. I was able to stay with my kids in the car while a thorough mechanic spent the time to diagnose the issue in their parking lot. I was physically shown what the issue was and given a fair quote with manufacturers discounts. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The owner gave me coloring pages for my kids as well. I recommend this place to anyone!

Northwest did an excellent job replacing/repairing the bumper if my 2006 Honda Odyssey after another vehicle had an unfortunate meeting with our car. Grade A excellent work.A couple months later, a plastic panel underneath the bumper came loose and began dragging on the ground. When we called and asked if we could have it looked at they had us come in right away and was able to confirm it was a simple fix and repaired it on the spot.Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Couldn’t ask for a better more honest shop. After an episode with a deer My insurance tried to make them use aftermarket parts and they didn’t give in. I got all Original equipment and a repair that looked better than before the impact! I’ve also taken them little jobs that were a rush and they made sure I got out the door easily and quickly and I didn’t have to reschedule the rest of my day! Hard to believe but as you walk in youre dealing with the owners!! All have this incredible smile and energy to help you out. I have had back surgery and needed help adjusting the cab on my truck, one of the owners Eric came out, gave me advice on getting the parts myself, and when I came back he adjusted the cab using up his time, experience on what to do, and would not allow me to pay ! ! ! I had a plugged drain hole under my sunroof. Eric said to bring my vehicle by and he would blow it out and see if that took care of the leak. He took the time to see if he could help me. Great service! I had a tailgate that wouldn’t open after a having a broken tailgate window. I brought the vehicle in and one of their customer service agents came out with me to look at the issue within seconds of my arrival. They diagnosed the issue right away, and a technician got it fixed within about 5-10 minutes. Then they voluntarily vacuumed out the remaining glass shards, and sent me on my way free of charge.While I was waiting I had at least 4 different technicians come by and ask me if I’d been helped. They really have top-notch customer service mentality.

These guys are awesome, welcoming, and very professional. My car was sideswiped while parked. They buffed out most of the cosmetic damage for no charge and got me an estimate for the more involved damage in minutes! I drove away with my car not even appearing it had been in an accident. I required some bodywork on my truck.  After searching for auto body shops, I used Northwest Autobody & Towing in Sandpoint.   I was completely satisfied with the results:  The quote was fair and very competitive.  The work would be done while I waited.  The administrative customer service was outstanding, and the location was clean.  The technician that worked on my truck called me into the shop to discuss a solution that would save me money and the repair will be stronger.  The technician was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.  I went with his recommendation and the repair result was great.  If that was not enough, they were $15.00 under budget.   I still have another damaged area that needs repair and I will use this company. We live up on Schweitzer and had to get our food truck towed down the mountain because the brakes went out. Cara in the office was great. Very helpful and definitely knows what shes talking about. The tow truck driver was very personable and extremely efficient. On top of all that, their pricing is VERY reasonable!

The first visit was because my mechanic recommended them, this time it was because I remembered that they took excellent care of me. I was a bit rattled after being hit, and they were supportive, friendly and helpful in explaining the procedures (getting a rental, getting a claim #, etc.) Professional and caring, a great combo!

Shout out to Eric at NW Autobody. Never used them before but got recommended by a friend after someone took a bumper to my Jeep and left a good rub and chip (drove off, no note). Eric not only gave me a fair priced estimate, but also buffed out the whole rub on the spot and made it look infinitely better. Told me No charge as long as I brought it back to him when I did want it fully fixed. Done!

Awesome service! Our truck somehow managed to back into a tree *cough cough* and when we got to town we realized our tailgate wouldnt stay up and we had a bed full of stuff. We called these guys and the told us to come on over. They were able to get us fixed up and we were in and out of there in half an hour. We will definitely be coming back for future car troubles.

My daughter had a leak in her car and I dropped her off to pick up her car after they had worked on it. While I was there I had Rick look at the water in my truck door and he drained it right then. I then had him look at my cab door that hadn’t been opening and he went inside grabbed a tool and fixed it right there. Amazing service and extremely helpful, I would recommend you go see Rick.

I honestly cant say enough good stuff about this place, did every thing they could for me and more! And after everything my vehicle ended up getting totaled out by the insurance company (so they worked for free) and they still had a smile on their face! Definitely will be using them for all my auto body work!

Terrible experience and would give negative 5 stars if possible was in to repair our jeep srt that struck an elk had told it would take 2 weeks got it back 6 months with cosmetic and electrical problems that were never there prior to them working on it and completely unfinished repair work for problems that came from the accident hadnt even aligned it. Had to end up taking it back 2 more times and still never got it fixed properly and the paint work they did was not much better than a rattle can didnt even paint under the hood which was replaced so it was two tone. So after over 8 months I picked it up in barely drivable condition which they said was complete and drove it straight to a shop I learned of recently that I would so wished to have known about prior to ever making the mistake of letting northwest shotty body work on it. They filled up my tank for compensation like that magically makes up for all the poor quality and rediculous amount of time they had it as well as the multiple extra trips I had to make being I lived 90 miles away . dont take your car there if u have something thats nice or u need extensive repair or paint work I dont know how they have any good reviews if u want quality work I recommend Flash auto body in Spokane well worth the drive if u care about the quality of work and the timeframe its handled over.

Ii walked in without calling because I had hit a fawn. My fender was bent and rubbed a little on my tire. (I am from Great Falls, Montana and need to drive back 275 miles before I get the car repaired.) The owner of Northwest Autobody came out and checked my car. I took my car into Northwest Autobody & Towing in Sandpoint when I had a water leak. Rick worked on my car the same day and fixed the leak free of charge because it didn’t take them long to fix. They have excellent service and I would recommend them to anyone.

Someone’s door dinged my car years ago and I was previously quoted near $800 for a paintless dent repair. Northwest Auto Body quoted $200 and said they may not be able to get it out completely since it was right on the body crease. Ended up being $286, dent 100% gone and free car wash included!!! I couldn’t be happier. My car looks like new :D

Today in oursnow storm..December 19th I was left outside in the cold for hour and half with my alternator out. Of coarse that means no heat. Almost home I pulled half way over to get out of the road. The tow truck driver shows up and talks out the window asking me why I parked their???? He wanted me in the middle of the road to get hit I guess... And then decided to explain from his vehicle that he would have to chain up just to get me towed home 0.9 miles away. Never even getting out and pissed off of where I was parked.Then I call back still waiting for him and she explained that geico canceled my tow because they had to chain up. By this time Im fed up and just want to get home. I called geico and she said that they explained they didnt have any chains and I was in a snow bank...OKAY!!!I was on church st so if theirs a snow bank there I sure missed it and why the hell do you need chains to tow me home with a big I mean big tow truck. Cars were going by me every two minutes.You guys are heartless and lie.. I really hope geico canceled their business with you. Thank goodness for a towing company that doesnt even do business with them decided to help. We must have 8 inches of snow...you guys are heartless.

When a deer jumped the guard rail and landed on the front of the hood of our suburban we were shocked at how much damage was done to our vehicle. When I called the insurance company to report the damage they sent us directly to Northwest Autobody.The suburban seemed to be running fine so we drove it from Priest River to Sandpoint thinking we would just be getting an estimate. Mel and his crew were very friendly and helpful in explaining the process. They took pictures of the damages and explained that they would be able to handle the entire process with the insurance company, so we didnt have to worry about it.They offered to set us up with a rental vehicle. We explained that we did not need a rental, as we had extra vehicles at home. We just thought we would be getting an estimate and then have to bring the vehicle back at another time when they could work it into their schedule.Mel insisted that we should not be driving the vehicle in the condition it was in and had an employee drive us home in his personal vehicle - all the way to Priest River - so that we could leave the suburban there to be repaired.The work that was done on the vehicle was excellent. It was not rushed, but also did not take too long. They have the best body and paint guys who really pay attention to detail. The suburban was clean and looked like brand new when we got it back.Taking our vehicle to Northwest Autobody was a great experience. If you ever need paint or body work done on a vehicle, we would highly recommend their services.

My wife clipped a post in our 2008 VW GTI in a parkade the night before our roadtrip to Sandpoint. It did some major scraping and minor buckling on the rear quarter panel, rear door and body kit.These guys were super quick about helping me out with an estimate, and offered me different options for repair to fit all kinds of budgets. Their recommendation to buff out the door and respray the rear quarter worked out great, and I was very happy with the work Eric did.Check these guys out - they fast tracked my car, gave me a range of estimates for different levels of repair, and the end result looked factory fresh.
