Walmart has went downhill, shelves are always empty, nobody can answer a question, even the store managers are clueless. I shop the smaller stores where they appreciate my business
Good store, good selection, not the greatest customer service though and long wait to check out.
No cashiers all self checkout! Its bull!!! Got a gift card and now it wont activate and they say they cant help me at service desk. Do not want to go to this store ever again!!
Was good, lots of shelves empty. We did get to see a man dragging his kid because he wouldnt go with him..lol
I bought a bag of salad cucumbers and a bag of lettuce mix. As soon as I got home and opened them, (hoping to make a salad), they were all slimy. All of the cucumbers had slime on them and the whole lettuce bag was slimy. They looked fine in the store, but upon opening them is when I saw and felt the slime. For the last year, whenever I buy produce from Walmart, it’s always close to going bad. I’m going to have to find somewhere else to buy my produce from now on.
I only go through the drive through there for my meds. Nasty store
Were standing in line for the only register open during remodel. They built more scan and go self checkouts so people will be forced to use those and then they can eliminate the cashiers jobs. Why dont they just close for a few days, finish the second damn remodel at this store and be done with it?!?! Been in line now for twenty minutes and were still fifth in line.
I left upset because I ran in to get a quick purchase for a birthday. Stood at the locked doors of the cologne for 15 minutes or longer. Pushed the button for help many times. A worker saw me and said she told someone I was there. Tried calling the store. It rang numerous times with no one answering. They lock this stuff up then have no one to help.
How can you run a store without stock? Was there last week looked like someone forgot to order! Was there today. When are you going to learn. YOU HAVE TO HAVE STOCK TO OPERATE!! YOU DONT GET IT!!!!
They carry many various items. Appreciate the gluten free bread, crackers and pasta. Also appreciate the many organic items!
It always seems like nothing is stocked, and that the fruits/veggies are all gross and no good. Feels very disorganized and dirty whenever I am there. Definitely recommend miejers which seems cheaper and is much cleaner/well stocked than this store.
Most of the shelves were either half empty or everything was so messed up you couldnt find anything. There was a Walmart employee who was absolutely filthy dirty working in there. Hardly any checkout Lanes open.
Absolute mess... Had to walk all the way to garden side to get toothpaste... 1 register open. Most self checkouts dont take or give cashback... I dont know who is in charge of moving stuff but they are doing the worst job possible. Horrible at restocking things there too. Pop is super expensive there too... Just go to meijer or kroger... The walmart in fremont is actually awesome though.
Never enough cashiers. Most of the staff act disgruntle and like they dont want to be at work. The higher ups like managers are on the floor and helpful. The store needs an overhaul and need to hire pol who want to work.
I dont know if there were power issues, but all the freezers were frosted up. You couldnt see in the doors and the food was not fully frozen.
Ive work 23 yrs in retail and even with our remodel we kept thins neat and clean and stocked neatly your Walmart is a disaster on the grocery side .
If you like to mix your own margaritas you will have to go to Krogers for tequila. You can find already mixed at Wal-Mart, and even the non alcoholic mix to make your own... But No tequila to mix in with it.
Backwards from the one I normally go to. But aside from the initial confusion All seems good enough to me
Its Walmart, super friendly staff for a big store.
Only went to Subway. There was one girl working by herself. She did a great job! She wrote it order down as it was for 8 people, she made everything perfect and read friendly thru the entire process. Two more workers showed up after she completed the order. Good thing too, as a few more customers cage in while she was completing our rather large order.
Not much organic products. Was looking for juice and the whole isle was empty. Staff was nice. Mask were also offered.
Was so packed but found everything i needed. Just wished there was more checkout set up for a holiday weekend! Still having a blast!!😄😄😄😄
Maybe the COVID-19 Virus has me shell shocked still, and maybe the media is hyping it up a bit to get people to roll up there sleeves, but I just look to get in and get out. If you feel the same way I do, try to go in the morning. Most days when they first open, the store is a ghost town. Thats when I go. But listen, I am no Dr. Facial so listen to the experts.
The customer service Representatives are very nice and helpful. However its really hard to get a hold of a supervisor when you call, you get put on hold for a long time. The store is clean and welcoming. UPDATE: Several months later I could barely walk. Arthritis in my knee. Im having a hard time getting electric carts. There either not charged or there isnt any available. I think they need to invest in more. And a clerk should be responsible to make sure they are being plugged in. I think this is a very important issue. And people are so rude to you when you are in one. Its sad and frustrating. Nobody wants to be disabled, we shouldnt have to feel ashamed.
Walmart has everything you need with cheap prices! The one issue I have is that sometimes the store can get a bit cluttered. Other than that its an amazing store!
I love shopping there just wish they have more cashiers
I am astonished that they have a cashier that could not ring up bananas. Had to get help. Then gave her cash she could not have register work when she entered money. Because she did not hit total. A fellow employee had to help her. She had a hard time coming up the bills to give us our change. I lost brain cells watching this. Store was a mess.
Excellent service. Try the Italian sausage oven baked sub!!
Called to ask if a board game was in stock and sat on hold for 30 minutes when another lady answered the phone and said “sorry idk about that i just answered the phone” and hung up. waist of 30 minutes and we called back with no answer
I got good service thereThe people who work in the pharmacy really nice
Its Walmart and its a very nice Walmart, the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful the store was nicely organized and well lit great job Walmart.
As far as Wal Marts go this was a pretty good one. They had what I wanted and price was good. Thats what keeps me coming back.
Hire more people and PAY THEM a decent wage so you have more than one cashier. ain’t no nobody trying to self check-out all $200 worth of their groceries for you after waiting in a year long line. CORRUPT.
The self checkout is more trouble than its worth. Get more human cashiers or I may take my buisness elsewhere
We needed a boat tire ASAP due to boat being on side of road. Paul and the staff really stepped up for us and got me out the door in under 20 minutes. We came in for a second tire next morning. Same great service. Thank you.
Love the grocery pickup. Very efficient & friendly workers.
Always out if stock of things I need. Going to start going to Meijer in Sandusky.
I live 2 mins away from cedar point and love it since i came to Sandusky yall should definitely go there, the food is okay i give it an 4/5 and the rides and the experience is probally 10/10, would definitely recommend going!
I’ve been to Walmart stores all over North America and even lived in corporate footprint for several years and I’ve only come across a handful of bad Walmart stores and this one is certainly one of them. Food is typically well-stocked, yet many other items seem to be out of stock all of the time. The store is quite disorganized. Go to their candle/wax melts section and you will quickly see how disheveled most of their inventory is. Same goes with toddler/children’s clothes that they display on the tables.Went to the garden/outdoors section looking for a Little Tikes sandbox a few weeks ago and the elderly employee working that department literally told me “I don’t know if we have them” when I asked if she could locate the sandboxes that were showing in-stock at the store on the app. Didn’t even call for help or care to assist me at all. I left empty handed and went to Target where an employee was happy to help me find the item I needed. Also went again last week and needed an employee at self-checkout to approve one of my purchases (paint - how stupid!) and she stood there in the middle of the self-checkout section chatting with another employee for 5 minutes while I tried to wave her down for assistance. What a joke. Unbelievable. This store is the pits. Drive the extra 15 minutes to Norwalk, where the store is clean, organized, and the employees are beyond friendly and competent.
They were out of one item I needed, but was able to get everything else.
Needed tires very friendly and helpful service personnel had the tires and stock that we needed
I waited my turn in line for over 10 minutes, a large family with 3 teenagers were in front of me buying usual things including a few bottles of alcohol. When it was my turn, my 14yr old Daughter and I was checking out like normal. The cashier asked me for my and my daughters ID for some one bottle of wine I was buying. I proceeded to tell her that the alcohol is mine why would my daughter need to show an ID, mind you she’s 14 and most that age does not have and ID. The cashier told me that it’s Walmart’s policy that anyone buying alcohol and everyone that’s with them must show proof of identification, I was flabbergasted, I’ve never been asked for my kids ID for MY alcohol. She told me that with the policy I can’t purchase any alcohol there for 24 hrs bc my kid didn’t have identification, the cashier absolutely did not ID the family in from of me that had teens and bought alcohol! So I kept my cool and said fine I’ll just send my kid to the car and self checkout my purchase, I did just that. Sent my teen to the car with my groceries and went and tried to self checkout MY bottle of wine, the checkout guy stopped me and told me I was already denied my purchase and couldn’t come back for 24 hrs. Not only was I embarrassed by all this, I was absolutely discriminated against by the original cashier, she didn’t ID the parents and teens ahead of me but did so with my Daughter and I, the woman in line behind was shocked also bc she seen the family before me wasn’t ID.. of all the years WITH MY CHILDREN with me, I’ve never had this problem at Walmart. After the discrimination and humiliation I went three that day, I’ll NEVER shop there again and just go straight to Kroger’s. After calling the manager and reviewing their policies on this, we concluded that it is NOT Walmart’s policy. Never ever again will I step foot in that store, idk what I need, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Thanks Walmart for your horrible employees!!
Yikes. This 1 is always dirty & they do remodels every couple years so its difficult to find what you need. If youre looking for for rude service though, youre in luck bc this is the place for you! Worth traveling to the extra 15 min to Port Clinton Walmart.
They dont let you use cash in the self checkout, its card only and they dont tell you until you are ready to pay. In order to use cash, you have to wait in lines that are 30 minutes or more long. Its a nightmare
Tried to do a moneygram said no for no reason going to shop at Krogers from now on used to love Walmart employees dont seem to care about customers they say they have plenty
Everything is now online feel like they only carry half of what they used too
Online experience is so bad that if they were trying to surrender to Amazon, they’ve succeeded beyond anyone’s wildest hopes. In the store, checkout line strategy is to close a register if the lines get too short, obviously to keep you waiting in hopes that you add a Snickers Bar to your cart. Also wildly successful, in keeping you waiting, anyway. I don’t know about the Snickers part.
Just a typical walmart fairly busy and in need of a lot of things stocked
Slowest cashiers ever and the self check out card only. The line was 30 people deep I called the store only for the associate to hang up on me and called back and the manager wouldnt answer the phone it just kept ringing. If you are going to do card only in the check out you need more than one register open.
Layout was much better than what Im use to
Nice selection of meat,I like the wide variety of dog treats, and cosmetics.
Not a good place to work!!! management doesn’t have your best interest at heart only the almighty dollar. As long as they get their big bonus that’s all that matters. Forget talking to the store manager the person only sticks up for the snakes 🐍 underneath him. D/B
Put in an online order for pickup and never got an email that it was ready. When I called, 7 hours later, I was told everything was scanned in and should of been ready, but it was too late for pickup and I should receive my email for pickup the next day. Never got the email and the phone line to pickup was busy for an hour so now I have to go up there and see what the hell is going on with my order. Never again will I order for pickup.
Great store alot of clothes.
Really?? 8 employees around the self checkouts but hardly anyone actually working the checkouts. Walmart does NOT care about customer service! Stop shopping there and put them out of business!
I like the one in Fremont better. Its cleaner.
Good place, but I didnt get use the ATM.
Security could be better, but a solid walmart to shop at
Need more cashiers but other than that Great
This visit was an average visit shopping for a few last minute gifts and honestly for the holidays I found the staff VERY helpful especially in electronics. The two that were there were very compassionate about helping me and my daughter with many questions we had and products we wanted to buy. Things were pretty easy to find.
Bought a air fryer. So many t choose and in colors.
Same as other walmart big line with only one human cashier seriously walmart you need cashiers not just robots.
Went in for last minute items needed for great wolf lodge. Was very easy to navigate, only complaint is that with it being close to an all year waterpark might want to keep more swimming stock. Went looking for flip flops and were none available, but other than that completely clean environment with a great staff.
Good shopping experience but. Shelfs are almost empty
Easy to find what I wanted. Short check out line.
Do not like that no cashiers were working you have to check yourself out.
I do not recommend the Sandusky location photo lab. I had 8 disposable camera rolls dropped off to be developed. They said there might be COVID delays. Okay, I get it. Absolutely. I called periodically with the COVID delays response: Untimely after being put off repeatedly, never receiving a call I was told that they likely threw my developed pictures in the trash and had no record of them. Not cool at all. Avoid Walmart as all costs! Lesson learned.
My husband and I went here to get some shampoo and conditioner. The trip was pretty quick but as soon as I got into the car I realized we forgot to get phone chargers so I went back in to get two. I ran to the bathroom on my way out and that was a mistake. The store itself was clean however the bathroom was fithy dirty with the toilet paper and paper towels coming up and out of the trash. The toilet paper holder itself was broken so when you pulled it, it fell on top of you. We will return but may skip the bathroom here.
Like everywhere, they dont have everything in stock. Stores are always clean and shopable, staff is helpful
I love shopping here but they never have t shirts lol
Great experience here in this summer. Love this Walmart.
Typical walmart, stopped selling handgun and ar ammo. Dumb
Great place to shop friendly workers and great prices
Walmart used to be the place to go to pick up everything you need. But lately the shelves have been bare.
Self checkout only credit card accepted others lines were 10+ people deep...what a waste of time
I would give it 5 stars but the employees point you to your direction you asked for, instead of leading you.....
Convenient because its by pur hotel.
Went shopping at Walmart in Sandusky Ohio for a gift. Very friendly and helpful.
Clean restrooms, alot to do for families
For the most part its ok... Hard to find items in stock though at this particular location
Shopping here was ok but checking out took forever with only one employee ran lane open and most self check out lanes not taking cash.
Almost always find what I need.
They had absolutely everything I have been looking for lately!Left the store..saying to myself...“Well, that was easy”! For those like me...shopping is often not my favorite pastime! 😆
Renovation so hard to find items and only 2 cashiers
They were remodeling, so it was tough to find some things.
As most Walmarts they have great prices, also having sales and specials on a semi regular basis. Employee attitude wasnt anything to write home about but they didnt have an air of desolation and despair so its probably not terrible to work there
The shelf little bit empty other than that ok.
Needs better customer service by answering the phones alot faster but other then that I like it just the self service attendant was a lil rude but hey overall I like it will be back shopping again
Wow is this place sloppily put together... lines were long but moved fast this place obviously does much business
You can find Halloween stuff here. ~^^~
The cleanest and most organized WalMart that Ive ever been to!
Only 2 register lines open and cashiers very slow....
Not enough check outside open. Waited too long in line.
