One of the best, most honest, and fair shops I’ve ever come across. I work on cars (for fun and when I have time) and I know when someone is lying or exaggerating a problem, which happens a lot, but NEVER with these guys. Truly classy guys, comparatively cheap, and always on time with getting my car back to me. I’ve been using them for about 8 years and Im still as happy as ever with their service. I highly recommend them. Danny and Richard are just 2 great guys.

Im so thankful for this shop! As long as Im living in Atlanta, they will be my go to mechanics! As a single female, I hesitate to go get my car worked on for anything. Not one time have I felt ripped off here. The work is great, efficient, and cost is reasonable! The people who work there are very sweet, and they even text to ask how my car is doing (it takes that to do list of making an appt for something going on out of my brain!). I took my dad’s 2012 Toyota Camry to get the oil changed with them like we do every 5000 miles. When I picked up the car, Richard mentioned that I’ll need a new oil pan. He said the drain plug thread was stripped. The car was not leaking oil before the oil change. The car has 125000 miles, they have been doing the oil changes every 5000 miles since we bought it with 77000 miles. No one else except them have touched the drain plug since. I went the next morning with a new oil pan and gasket that I bought from Autozone, thinking they would be fair and replace it, since it was broken under their care. Richard said he couldn’t do the labor at no charge, he could do it at 50% off. He said it was not their fault, but since we had been customers for so long he would do it at half off. I spent $115 in parts for something that was not my fault, plus I would have to pay $140 for them to fix their screw up. Richard knows the car wasn’t leaking oil before Paulo touched it. They were having a heated discussion about it right when I arrived there to pick it up. It saddens me to leave a negative review, we had been their customers for more than 13 years. I was willing to be reasonable and work with them to fix the problem, but I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay the labor to replace something that they broke.

A Town was recommended to me by my boyfriend when my shift interlock gear stopped working. I also asked if they wouldnt mind looking at my fluid levels/ doing a one over since I was nervous about what else was wearing (my car is only 4 years old/ 77k miles) and dont know enough about whats under my hood to do a good job myself.Not only did they do a quick run through of my car for free (I assumed this would be another $100), they also put air into a leaky back tire, even after I told them I knew it was leaking and was on my list for another day and quoted me about $300 less for the shift replacement than the other places I called around to. They answered all my questions about the repairs honestly, even telling me what repairs could wait. Theyll be able to order and repair my shift within the week. I would recommend A Town Automotive to anyone who wants good quality advice and repairs and especially to those who need a mechanic they can trust to give them accurate advice.

These guys are by far the best mechanics Ive found. Each time Ive gone to them, they do the work quickly and they dont price gouge. Its unreasonably difficult to find good, trustworthy mechanics, but this crew is the exception. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Danny & Richard always make sure you understand the service or repair they perform. Very honest pricing and follow up better than any service/repair shop Ive visited. After my recent 2 visits they reached out to make sure the issue was fixed. That says a lot about their character wanting the best for every customer.

The folks seemed nice enough but the prices they gave me were very high. I had done my research and knew the prices and the price quoted for the part by itself was 2.5x higher than the market price. The labor price and other prices werent too bad but that was a deal breaker for me. I wont be using them in the future.

Their prices are getting as high as the car dealer. Had power steering pump replaced in my Honda at Atown and 35k miles it needs to be replaced again. Hum...

Highly recommended.This is one of the only reviews I’ve done on any platform- and A Town Auto deserves it in the best way!I had some real trouble with a 2013 GMC Terrain a few years ago and had a couple different shops not know how to fix it. So, I brought it to A Town, they identified the issue and were able to fix it at a great price.I have now taken a few different cars in to get checked out/minor repairs. They always take the time to explain everything to me so even I can understand. Ive been using these guys for 20+ years to service my Range Rover, Escalade, Honda S2K, and BMW. They do excellent work, are very honest (they never try to upsell you on unnecessary repairs), and have low rates. I moved to NC and still take my cars to them to be serviced.

Came here to get a radiator flush and a tuneup (spark plugs replaced), which is what the dealer had recommended. After giving me a fair quote - they started on the work and called me to say that the spark plugs looked great and that reviewing the service history the previous owner had had them serviced not long ago. As a result, I did not have them replaced and saved some money. I really appreciate the honesty and will be back!

Made a fair recommendation. I was mostly impressed at the respect he gave me as a person first--good eye contact, tone, etc., and as a customer. End of the conversation, charged me $0.Went back at a later date for an oil change. I noticed I had some indicator lights on my dash, so I discussed that with Richard--who also gave great respect, and took time to explain them. Discussed DIY solutions to remedy the problem. Also, he allowed me to choose the oil I preferred and did not push me to buy the more expensive type--much appreciated. No charge for the light evaluation.These may seem like small considerations to some, but I value respect and honesty in business. Kindness and sincerity also go a long way, which they exude here. These guys have a new customer!

If you are a single female avoid this shop at all costs. I was charged over $300 to replace a part that did not need to be replaced and was quoted over $500 to replace the broken piece. After doing my due diligence I was able to get my car completely taken care of for under $200 elsewhere. There are much better shops in the area. Dont bother with this one.

WOW! Danny is AWESOME. This morning, I brought in a Nissan Altima Coupe with a tire issue and he took care of it IMMEDIATELY (no lagging or dragging his feet) with the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have experienced dealing with Auto/Mechanic Services in my life. Lets start with the phone call. He was energetic, eager to help, professional, and not pushy. When I got there his personality was just as true as it was on the phone. You gotta love finding good people these days! Additionally, the waiting area was small but EXTREMELY CLEAN and WELL KEPT. The small things matter sometimes, I noticed their magazines were organized, categorized/labeled, up-to-date, and there was a variety. This small attention to detail tells me a lot about them as mechanics :) TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

By far the most honest and helpful shop I have ever been to. Ive been coming back here for 15 years because of the customer service and most competitive pricing. Theyve even helped me troubleshoot an issue myself over the phone while I was pulled off to the side of the highway on a roadtrip. They are committed to helping their clients and not taking advantage of them. They would get more than 5 stars if that was an option.

Trusted them with my automobiles for 3 years now. Honest, polite, attention to detail, and do great work. I moved out of state but still bring my cars to them whenever I am in town. And the reason why we trust them is because they build it right? Wrong. But Danny and A town, gave me the best auto repair experience Ive ever had. This is why I waited over a month to do this review. My vehicle would randomly shut off and was hard to start. . But after a day or so Danny called and informed me of the issues, repaired it andI was back up in no time. One month later its almost as if it never happened and the cost of repair was reasonable. There guys never seem to amaze me . Still after over 10+ years of working on my cars they are still the best. Dannie recommended that I replace the control arms on my car. So i did and Im glad that I did. even tho the driving was not that bad, I feel a big different in the steering and control of my car. The curves are smoother and the wheels dont rub anymore. Over all it was a great recommendation . I really appreciate the honestly and the hard work these guys put into the graft to me my car better. I cant thank them enough. I trust them fully. A+++++++
