Clean and organized store. The store manager has done a great job with covid prevention steps. Very knowledgeable and loves helping people. Kudos to the store for following covid protocol in tight spaces!

This is the best place to get Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and related games. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They can also direct you to members of the local community if you are looking for players.

Killian was a fantastic teacher and had a lot of patience with teaching my friend and I the basics to get into warhammer 40k. Store had a great selection, if youre trying to get into a new hobby this is the store to go to!

I’ve been to a lot of the tabletop gaming hobby stores in the metro ATL area and so far this one left the most to be desired. It’s more disappointing cus I remember the days when there was a Games Workshop in Mall of GA and it was fantastic. The manager of this store doesn’t seem as enthusiastic as Brian at the Warhammer store in Lawrenceville. Overall it’s not a great or bad store. It’s just ok in my opinion.

Great store. The employee that works here is very helpful. Only thing is he is the only one person employed here and sometimes the store is inexplicably closed on days the store is scheduled to be open because he can’t make it in. I recommend calling ahead before you visit.

I shop at a lot of geek stores. I go to a lot of geek conventions. But todays venture into Games Workshop couldve been the best experience Ive ever had at a hobby store. Ive always been sort of hobby adjacent to Games Workshops products; I see them, I know about em but never made the plunge. However, todays venture to the shop, so my friend could buy some glue, made me a fan. Killian was above and beyond helpful. He made me actually believe I could paint miniatures. And there was never a high pressure sales moment. Also, the store is clean, well laid out, and has plenty of product on display.

Call before you visit. They close frequently and without notice. This is the third time in a row I’ve wasted a trip to the store to find it closed during its hours. Save yourself the hassle

Been going here to buy Warhammer for several years. Always had a great experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful especially with questions about how to paint or tackle a project.

Recently moved to Georgia and drove an hour and thirty mins to get here was not allowed to use check (store policy) not company policy as I have in other gw locations. Had to speak to the owner via phone call from my car because not in without a mask.The manager was rude abrassive and short with me. After five mins of troubling customer service I hung up and called my normal GW store in virgina, he told me just recently Gw changed to no check within a weeks time or so and he was sorry for this managers actions. Its sad I had to call three states away to get help.Sorry GW sandy creek not going to come back I will just order online through Amazon or any other GW location.

Walked in not knowing what to expect. We had never even seen a miniature in person. We were welcomed and taught how to put miniatures together, paint highlight, and how to play some. Amazing people, amazing hobby!

The employees are really nice and helpful. Im new to the hobby and the staff answered all my questions and directed me to some great models. They didnt try to upsell me on anything or make me buy anything I didnt need. Games workshop goes the extra mile to make you happy and keep you coming back.

Ive just recently gotten into 40k, back in October. Id found the Charlotte, NC store (this review is about the Sandy Springs store, dont worry).The experience was great. Ryan, Shawn and Tyler were amazing. Even so much that Ryan called Killian, at the Sandy Springs store to let him know Id be visiting once my job in NC was over.When I came home to Ga, for the Christmas holiday... one of the first stops I made was the GW store in Sandy Springs. Killian is just as friendly, inviting and helpful as the guys in Charlotte. Hes helped with every question Ive had, given suggestions and has been far more than a salesman. He loves GW products and is as (if not more so) excited as the clientele. Ive been back every time Ive been home since and will probably go back to hobby tomorrow.Is there a price tag attached to products?Yes, because theyre niche and made in the UK, not China.Can the hours be weird? Yes, because theres only one employee. Call ahead. Google doesnt know everything.Will you have fun hobbying and/or playing?Abso-fing-lutely.

Had a great time! I talked to Kenny, and he gave me some really good modeling/painting advice. Easy guy to talk to, and he has the patience of a saint.

People here are friendly and will go above and beyond to help you with a purchase or just general information. If you are new to the game or a seasoned vet, this place is a good spot to enjoy the games and modeling. My only note would be more 40k, but this is just a personal preference.

It is hard to believe that this gem of a place was hiding in plain sight next to the Kroger. Great variety of things that you will not find in any other store.

First visit to this store, fairly new to 40k hobby. For starters, the stores layout is a near perfect combination of dedicated floor space to peruse products, while still having enough room to promote a comfortable, social forum. Products were extremely well labeled and organized; I had no problem knowing where paints, boxed sets, codexes, and other accessories were located.Killion was the employee on staff. He greeted me with a sincerely warm and enthusiastic manner, asking me what he could help me with. I informed him I was already starting to build an AdMech army, but wanted to do some window shopping as it was my first time there. Killion eagerly began asking me about specific questions about my army (forge world, Dunecrawler loadouts, etc) that revealed he was very well informed about the lore and enlightened to any nuanced requests I might have about my specific armys needs. Killion never tried to pressure me with any sales or left me feeling I was being taken advantage of as a new player.There were two tables with active games taking place when I entered. One side table had two hobbyist actively painting and constructing models. This store felt like a true hobbyist escape, where the patrons looked like they were having a great time unwinding and hanging out.I will definitely make it a point to stop by this store whenever Im in the area.

The Games Workshop store in Sandy Springs is an amazing store! They have a wide selection of miniatures, paints, and rule books. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the patrons are all very welcoming towards beginners.This is just a great place to go play any of the GW games.

There was no indication that the store had closed for special reasons. This is Hersey of the highest level and the god-emperor of mankind would be disappointed
