Please use a different delivery service. Fed ex is absolutely terrible. Ive had problems with them in the past. My date was changed 3 different times. If I knew fed ex was your choice of delivery service, I wouldnt have ordered.

A huge location with a ton of product, it very much feels like an outlet store. It is labeled as a Super Store, and with good reason. Its huge! They have everything youd expect for the chain, but a ton of variety and options. They have all their holiday items 50-70% off right now, Im sure itll go down a bit more.The biggest difference between this location and some other craft chains is the large selection of fabrics and materials. They definitely offer a great variety for sewing, quilting, and crafting. The materials / fabrics section was busy and well organized.The store itself felt chaotic. It was hard to tell where each section was and there were items intermixed into every area. I know that customers put things back in the wrong spots, so its not a big deal.Overall: CWarehouse / outlet feel with a huge variety and selection. The biggest win is the fabric and materials section.

This is one of my favorite stores, though I miss being able to find good silks and wools here. I was looking for a faux fur that they didnt have in stock but had online.

Spent a ton but got what I needed and some. Love this store.

Great Place, Great Customer Service and Nice Sale prices.

Asked the fabric lady to measure some buttons for me. She did...but told me that 7/16 buttons were larger than 1/2 buttons. I explained that 1/2 would be 8/16 and she said well these are bigger. Glad I didnt ask for a yard of material, who knows what Id have gotten!

I visit this location ALOT and I spend a great deal of money at this store. So when I say ANDREW has ZERO business running the front registers I mean it. He is literally PARANOID and treats you like if you step beyond the shield (which FOR THE RECORD) is the ONLY WAY I can see what prices my merchandise is ringing up at hes going to dissolve. Ive had two encounters with him in the past two weeks and my last encounter was the LAST straw, if I so much as approach the registers and hes the cashier again I will abandon my purchases and leave. I fully respect theres a pandemic and I am a nurse, theres just no bubble Andrew youre wearing a mask and so am I an n95 on my face to be exact. Stop your power play over a plastic shield guess what buddy Air particles are EVERYWHERE that shield is a false sense of hope for you! Besides youre literally touching EVERYTHING I touched so if youre that paranoid dont work in a position that puts you directly in customer service why not go stock shelves! I respect cautions you are freaking RIDICULOUS

Lots and lots of fabric variety. I believe they also have sewing machines you can use if you schedule it. They have a good sized section of fake flowers in the front as well.

Had an issue at the checkout with the cashier... She was wearing a mask and standing behind the glass and told us she would not help us unless we were behind the glass and we could not hear her because of the interference from her mask and the glass... She became very rude and my wife and her mother left the store because of how she spoke to them. I paid for my goods and left the store. I called the store to speak to the manager only to come find out that the person who helped us named Kelly was the manager! I explained to her how rude it was the way she spoke to my wife and her mother and she apologized but did not seem sympathetic at all and tried to blame it on a store policy and a political campaign. I will not be visiting this place again anytime soon until corporate gets in touch with me!!!

There is a good selection, however the books are a mess and it was very hard for me to find what I was looking for in a timely manner. And they have so many great books. I dont normally go in looking for books so its not a huge deal and it will not stop me from going back.

I didnt go inside but when I messed up how to do curbside pickup everyone I interacted with was super polite and understanding and nice and stuff. The person who came out to give me the stuff had a nice conversation with me about my favorite movie and told me they had new fabric for it! Definitely recommend.

6/11/2020 at 7:40 pm - Customer Service Training urgent for some employees at your Sanford store. My husband and I went into the Sanford store 20 min before closing. As soon as we walked in we heard the announcement that they would be closing at 8:00 pm. The ladys tone was like get your things and get out. So I rushed to get what we needed. Not 30 seconds went by when the lady that shared the announcement is in the isle telling us the same thing she had just announced. I told her, thank you I just heard your announcement. She then raises her voice at me telling me that she had to make sure I heard her because some speakers throughout the store are not working. She failed at customer service 101. Ive worked in retail for 15 years and know that our customers are the reason we are in business. Please consider having someone else make that final announcement and retrain this associate. Will spend my money elsewhere. Thank you!

Even on thanksgiving weekend they were super nice and friendly still.

Ive been a loyal, generally happy JoAnn customer for many years. Recently Ive been quite disappointed. Certain things that I usually buy have been low in stock and they usually have more helpful and knowledgeable staff. Im hoping when things get back to normal my JoAnn experience will also get back to normal. In the meantime I will be shopping elsewhere. I will check back in a couple of months.

I usually have no issues but I was a little disappointed with this specific visit. I had visited the previous day and put some fabric on hold The girl had rolled out and figured yardage already. When I went back to pick up fabric a different girl had me wait for her to re-measure the hole bolt again when it was clearly mark with the yardage on the bolt. Fine whatever. When I went to go pay for the bolt I had to leave with entire bolt of fabric in the rain because they had no plastic sleeves for the bolt of fabric. And the girl didnt even attempt to check maybe if they had some in the back. Nope just sorry. Meanwhile I have to roll out fabric so it would dry before I could use it for what I bought it for. The only good things is it was a fabric that wouldnt stain getting wet. Well I guess it was a good thing for them that it wasnt a bolt of satin. I wouldve return the whole bolt, stains and all!!!

It was very cold the ladies the was were you cut fabrics very to the point not explaining anything no one help you locate anything just say down that that way .it was so bad that I had to explain to the cashier this was my first time in the store please explain how thing work I was feeling no customer service.A d the guy with the nail polish wasnt a y better.It was like talking g to robots it only got better when I mentioned the service.they really need to be more user friendly with things going in the world people should be kind. Disgusting Service!!Popped in to get a magnifier light.Handed it to the cashier,, and then moved across to the machine to pay.I was wearing a mask as per state requirements.He had just interacted with another customer at arms length.Before I could even get my wallet out, he flew off at me for not being 6 ft apart.So I accommodated him and stepped back.This enraged him even more to the point of him getting quite rude.His parents obviously didnt teach him manners.I refused to shop there, and boy was he going off at me as I was exiting.I did nothing wrong. I was masked, I was behind the screen. I did nothing more or less than I have always done during COVID and certainly was more distant than the previous customer.I voted with my wallet - I can pay someone else.Awful young man

Kelly the manager is very unprofessional, rude and belittling!! Also you could tell her negative energy fed off to the other employees!! Wether a customer be right or wrong there is a professional way as a manager that you handle yourself and the situation!! She should not even be allowed to be an employer!! Horrible attitude!!Would choose 0 stars if it was an option!!

I love Joann Fabrics for my crafting needs. They have great selections on everything I use. Not to mention the coupons and sales make it that much better. So until I cant craft anymore, I will continue to go there.

My 65 year old mother stood in line 45 minutes outside and 40 minutes inside to be racial profiled. Two different departments asked her to place her items on the counter and stand behind the purple line. Furthermore there were White Caucasians in front and behind her in both departments and neither department asked the Caucasians to stand behind the line. That is racial discrimination. This is unacceptable. I am livid. My mother is always in Joanne and the one in Sanford has just lost our family as customers

Store was clean. They have so many holiday decorations. I dont like the buy 1 and get 3 free sale. I dont need 4. I prefer the discount per item.

Hotter than....an oven!! Staff were friendly, but I dont know how in this hot store. Both cashiers had sweat beads on their face. The woman at the fabric counter looked like she had just finished a marathon. Other than the heat, its a typical Jo-Anns.

Very rude customer service to the employees and the manager! Today Joann fabric at least in this location has lost my business! You would think that the pandemic would make people kinder but today was suppose to be pleasant experience and I got treated rudely by the manager of all people!

Good selection of sewing and art supplies, especially painting, as well as all kinds of kids crafting products and toys. They also have seasonal decor. They are helpful and informative, and the lines for fabric cutting are usually very short unless there is a big sale.

Sometimes they have great sales. I wish they would sell supplies for Cricut besides the Cricut brand. They were selling vinyl in their brand and stopped for some reason

I was only here as company for my mother who needed to pick up some yarn for a project she was working on. I wish we had more time because I love to look around at everything, especially the Christmas inventory they have there right now. Hopefully Ill get to visit again soon.

I was able to order and pay for some interfacing that showed yardage “in stock” online for pick up, i was sent an email that my order was ready then received an email that the order cancelled. Now not only can i not get my order but the payment was processed as per by bank and now im out money? - when am I going to get my money back?? never again will i shop at or order from joannes.

JoAnns has a large variety of items. I usually come here for the fabric. The customer service really depends on who you get. Some people are helpful, others not so much.While its true that they do have coupons and sales regularly, it is also true that their items are often overpriced to begin with. So if you arent using a coupon (which I am only able to use one at a time) you are probably overpaying.

No impressed. First time ever there and I was told I was standing too close to the register cuz I did not have a mask on, mind you this was over two weeks ago and mask were not mandatory at that time. The cashier looked at me with disgust despite they he had a Plexi glass between him and I . Also the lines were long and slow.

I shop here regularly. There is a wide selection of craft and sewing items. I had a coupon which I used to buy a baking item I had wanted. The aisles are not crowded and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is I would like price scanners in the store.

Nice store. it is a little off setting when you are actually looking for items and its obvious youre looking for items and staff members just walked by you. The cashiers are always very friendly, but the employees working the sales floor are not nearly as friendly or helpful.

This store was so helpful to us a few weeks ago. We had a family wedding in the area and realized we were missing a few items during our set up that morning. My brother-in-law became the errand runner, including finding the extra tulle that was needed to decorate some chairs. He was helped at this store by a lady named Saundra. Saundra helped him figure out everything that was needed, helped him get a coupon discount (or matched a price...not sure, but it was great!!), and then even cut the pieces exactly as we needed them. She knew we were back at the venue setting up and did this for us to make it easier. We really appreciated her help with this! Thank you so much from our whole family!!
