I could not smog my Ford F150 and I did everything from replacing the coil sensors to even changing my battery. The monitor would not complete and this other garage recommended Autotek Car Parts, Santa Ana. I took my car there and after 3 days it was all ready. A big thank you to Autotek for saving my time and money. You guys clever at what you do and very trustworthy, great service.

I had lots of problems with my brakes on my 2004 Toyota 4 Runner and tried lots of different places and they changed my brake pads and calipers and wasted my money. I was recommended to go to Autotek and they told me within an hour the problem was the brake master cylinder pump actuator and fixed it by the next day and my car has ran without any problems since Autotek refurbished my brake actuator. Thanks Autotek youre the best I should have come to you first.

Sent my car computer for reprogramming. team was responsive. I asked for priority overnight mail return and asked to be billed for the extra postage. AutoTek decided to delay shipment and sent it days later ground UPS. The UPS package with my cars computer was lost.I did not read the reviews about this place until I posted mine (my fault and mistake). Many people have had the same experience with John. I sent my Honda Civic computer to get it checked cause I had the check engine light on for the oxygen sensor and I did replace all of them but Autotek Car Parts in Santa Ana tested my computer and said it was faulty and the re-flashed it and cleared it. I put it back on the car and everything worked fine. Good and fast service check them out.

I took my Jeep Wrangler for battery not charging and they found my computer was faulty and they fixed it rather than me getting anew one which would have cost me a lot at the dealers. They saved me stacks of money. Great service thank you guys. From now on I will take all my cars to you guys.

Abs nightmare I tried everywhere and no one could figure it out finally Autozone recommended me trying Autotek Car Parts in Santa Ana, soon as I took my car to them same day they found the problem with my ABS module and they rebuild it rather than replacing it which worked out a lot cheaper than buying one. The guys at Autotek they really know their stuff and they dont waste your time. Thanks guys, great job.

I took my Lexus to Autotek because I was told I had harsh gear changes in my transmission, Autotek diagnosed the problem to be inside the computer. The whole thing only took one day and they fixed the computer and when I pickup up the car in the afternoon it ran perfect like new. This company advertises that they rebuild ecu’s and other electronic parts. Once they get your money they will keep sending you broken parts until you give up on calling and shipping parts back. I read quite a few reviews after making the same mistake and it’s a common scam that this company is notorious for so buyer beware. Get a second opinion from the dealer or a reputable mechanic, even the junkyard sells better parts.

Took my Chevy Taho to Autotek none of my gauges were working, they took out the whole cluster and repaired it and calibrated it so I kept the original mileage for my car, everything worked fine and it was done same day. Great service, these guys know their job.

I didnt know you could have so much problem replacing your gauges, my 05 Nissan Quest had the common fault and the digital display circuit was not reading so I found on ebay they were selling the LCD quite cheap and I bought one I tried to fit it according to their instruction and afterwards all the dials were messed up I took it to other shops and they said by putting another cluster in my car even the mileage reading is now different and it can affect my smog check so I took it to Autotek in Santa Ana and they fixed my original gauges and put it all back in and everything is good now. The guys at Autotek know a thing or two, thank you.

All my gauges were going crazy on my 09 Toyota Camry and the gearshifts were really bad I bought another cluster from a junk yard but the fault didnt go away, my local Autozone said they always go to Autotek Car Parts on Harbor Blvd I took my car to them and they diagnosed the problem was my Abs module and they fixed it same day and they said the Abs wasnt communicating with my cluster gauges which caused the problem now my car is fixed and everything is working. Well done Autotek yo really know your job youre the best.

Completely ripped offSo unfortunately I was referred to this place by a mechanic, as he was having trouble diagnosing my check engine light issue.When I brought my computer in I was met by John who told me that he would diagnose then then get back to me. Within a day I was told I needed a new PCM. I was charged $500 for a new PCM and told I would be contacted when it was ready. Weeks went by and finally I called to check on the PCM. Was told that it would be suddenly done later in the week.Called back later in the week, was put on hold then told it would be ready the next day.I never received a call so I decided to go in person and pick up my PCM in person. When I arrived and told them I was there for the pcm I sensed that there was panic. Someone came from the back to tell me that it was almost finished and it would be done in 5 min.After a short time John came out and handed me what I assumed was a new PCM. No receipt, no work order or anything just some Autotek stickers placed on the PCM to void a warranty if the PCM was opened.Got home installed the pcm and the light was still on. Took my truck to another mechanic only to learn that my “new pcm” was not new in fact it was the original one that came with my truck.I have no recourse at this point since I didn’t take a receipt but be warned this place is doing unscrupulous business.

I had hoped to give this shop a great review. Due to the following, I am warning any prospective buyer that my very patient, very optimistic trust was misplaced in John & Autotek. I was looking for a TCM for a 1997 VW. Hard to find. Talked to John. He listened to my specs and said he had one, that he would verify it was programmed for my VIN. arrived a few days later as promised. on 4/25/20. I took it triumphantly to my mechanic, a German native, first generation immigrant here that built VWs in Germany for 20 years before moving to the US and opening his own shop that only services VW buses & vans. He plugged it in. The part was from a different vehicle, and Autotek had changed the OEM sticker to look like it was for a 1997. I called John, while it was on the computer, and even sent him the computer findings, that it was for a different VW model, from a different year. he said it was just coding, and I could send it back and he would rework it. I mailed it back with signature delivery but asked for a refund. In June, after numerous calls, messages, and texts, I raised John. he said my mechanic was an idiot and all I needed to do was send him my old, broken TM and he would rewire his part and send it back to me., but agreed to refund my purchase price when I told him that seemed sketchy and I did not have time to wait for all that. No refund. when I finally contacted him again in August, he apologized and said the job card” got misplaced. Then pledged to have it processed that day. More messages, calls, and texts. October 19th, he said the refund would show on my account by Wednesday. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and waited 10 business days. No refund. He is not returning calls, just one text that says my credit card company should have it. Call me stupid if you will, but I was holding out for a better ending because all the people I talked to were nice and seemed knowledgeable. However, I am left nearly 7 months later with the final realization this company is staffed by very pleasant liars and cheats. I had to file a fraud claim with my credit card company to get my money back. Buyer be very wary. It seems there are many other reviews like mine on Google and various other reviewing sites.

I had lots of problems with my Honda Accord sometimes it wouldnt start I took it to 3 different garages and they changed everything and charged me for it the last garage said to go to Autotek in Santa Ana this must be an electrical issue by the time I got there the car died and wouldnt start at all. Autotek checked my car and found the wiring fault and it was just a simple repair they fixed as I waited and the fault had gone away. I am surprised how come the other shops couldnt figure it out. Thank you for doing an honest job and not ripping me off just because Im a woman. I have told all my family to take their cars to you guys for an honest service.

I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado and my brakes were pulsing badly, my local mechanic replaced discs pads everything but the fault wouldnt go away then he said it must be electrical and recommended Autotek Car Parts in Santa Ana I went to them and they told me my ABS was activating every time I pressed the brake pedal. Autotek gave me a reasonable price and repaired my ABS module and the fault went away. They also gave me warranty in case it comes back again but since they repaired it I havent had any problems. Good work guys you were spot on.

My Honda Civic had lots of problems with the ABS I had tried lots of garages but none of them figured it out, but Autotek found the problem was not the Abs pump it was just a sensor for $98 and they fixed it same day. My gauges on my 09 Volkswagen Jetta started flashing and beeping, my ABS, Traction and Check Engine lights all came on and the transmission stopped shifting. I towed my car to the main dealer and after a week they could not diagnose it and charged me for their labor. I looked online and found Autotek Car parts in Santa Ana and called AAA to take my car to them. Autotek Car Parts found the problem was caused by my faulty ABS module. They replaced and reprogrammed and everything went back to normal. The guys at Autotek Car Parts are honest and knowledgeable great service.

I took my 09 Toyota Camry to my local Aamco shop and they diagnosed my transmission valve body was bad and they had to replace it but afterwards the car was exactly the same, then the suggested I should take it to Autotek in Santa Ana, when I got there in 5 minutes they diagnosed the problem was with my ABS module which was causing the transmission shift erratically. They fixed my ABS module same day I couldn’t believe it I should have gone to them first and saved tons of money on replacing the transmission. I took my 2005 Toyota RAV4 to my local transmission shop and they told me the transmission on it was bad and they replaced it with a good used one but I still had problem with shifting from 2nd to 3rd then they told me it could be electrical and I went to Autotek Car Parts in Santa Ana on Harbor blvd and they confirmed the problem was in the computer. Autotek repaired it same day and I was back on the road again. That was quick and great service. They also have a free check on all cars.

My 99 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel wasnt charging the battery I replaced the battery twice and the alternator 3 times, finally a friend of mine suggested I should take it to an electric shop for them to check it out, I took it to Autotek Car Parts in Santa Ana and they checked all the wiring and found the regulator was built inside the computer so they repaired it rather than replacing it and since then it has worked fine and my battery is charging. Thanks guys you did a great job figuring it out.

Took in Original ECU and A used ECU unit of the same number.The job was to move the chip that verified if it was the original key or not to the used ECU. 120$They said no warranty because it was a junkyard part... which faulty argument when the work wasnt even done correctly or not at all it seems.Yet when I plug in the Used ECU It does not recognize my key at all. It works because the security light comes on because the computer says its NOT the right key. It cranks but wont start because its not recognized!There is footage of what it looks like when the key isnt reconized its exactly the same as mine...I plug in the original ECU which STILL works with my KEY. Car starts up instantly.... Did they even do the job...Review will be updated if things change.Owner reply ignores that the ecu didnt reconize the key still which was the job. Ecu was working and didnt let me use original key.So basically theyre saying buy something with a warranty or we wont fix it.Feb 27, 2020 So basically everything is fine now. I was right about the computer but they were nice enough to check if the ecu was really the problem. Which is wasnt the ecu was perfectly fine a mechanic had told me that it was ecu. Its the front abs speed sensors they even scan tooled it. So basically everything is resolved. None of the past mechanic i went to could figure this out.

I took my Dodge Nitro to Autotek with charging problems, I thought it was the alternator but Autotek found out the regulator inside the computer was faulty, they repaired the computer cleared all the codes and set all monitors so I went and got my smog done. I replaced my Throttle body on my 2010 Dodge Caliber but my car wouldnt idle correctly so I took my throttle body and the computer to Autotek Car Parts in Santa Ana and they found the computer was no good they gave me a replacement and they programmed it so I didnt have to reprogram my keys. I tried it on my car and it worked great.Thanks guys.

The ECM in my 1995 Jaguar XJS was full of water. When I contacted Autotek they responded immediately, and confirmed they had a replacement in stock, for an excellent price. They sent me a tracking number after they shipped. I plugged in the new ECM and the car started right up. An excellent transaction.

Hybrid nightmare my Toyota Highlander had the VSC light check engine light ABS light everything was on and I couldnt brake properly.I bought the Abs actuator from Autotek and tried to install it myself but I couldnt bleed it properly so I took my car to Autotek in Santa Ana and they installed it and cleared all the light for me.Great job thanks guys

Sir John is a classic con artist. Doesnt honor his word or insurance policy. I took my car because it was reading error codes, he had me replace the ecm cost me 800$ didnt fix anything my car broke down and to get it towed over to his shop cost me 200$ only reason I went back was in hopes of a refund. He then replaced my abs module for 600$ still didnt fix anything. Over a month of back and forth it cost me over 1,600$ to get no where. Waist of time and money plain and simple! Took it to another mechanic he found out that all it was, was the radio wired wrong making the car act up. Charged me $260 and my car hasnt had a problem since. So please save yourself the agony and take my word for it and look somewhere else for help.

Worst human beings. I have been waiting over a year for a refund that is definitely not coming. Worst customer service. Worst quality of work. They claimed they could fix a throttle actuator and ended up leaving me with the exact same part. They tested my car afterwards and claimed it was good to go. Picked it up... Same exact issue. I had to pay a mechanic $900 just in labor to remove/replace the part twice. Are you kidding me? Im reporting them to the better business bureau and considering legal action.

My 05 Ford Escape had burning coils and computer was not working I took my car to Autotek in Santa Ana they diagnose that I have a fault in the computer and I need to replace the coils and computer at the same time. They programmed another computer for me and My car stopped misfiring. What a nightmare It was all these other places kept telling me it was a wiring fault. Thank you Autotek, especially Ed.

I went there because my car had an electrical problem, He had to replace the computer and some loose cables, a few days later they called me that my car was ready, I was able to drive my car but the computer was out of place because they did not put it on correctly, when I drove my car I noticed that the air conditioner, the radio and the lighter of my car wasnt working, I went there the next day to tell them that it was previously working and they told me they can fix it but that it is going to be a new job .That bother me a lot because when I took my car those things were working fine. I was very upset, I do not recommend going there, the owners name is John, he is not a responsible person.

If i could give this place no Stars i would, this place is a complete scam and rip off DO NOT go here for service. I had an ECM on my car burn out so i went to them to have it rebuilt paid $300. When they told me the ECM was done i went and picked it up and had my mechanic install it and it didnt work. John (owner of Autotek) insisted that the ECM was built correctly and that it wasnt the problem. I was out of a car for a month while my mechanic went through my car top to bottom trying to find out what was wrong at the end mechanically the car was sound found not issues and everything pointed back to the ECM there were no other options the ECM had to be the problem. My Mechanic informed me that this is the reason he stopped using Autotek due to faulty parts and having to order new ones multiple times. I contacted John he said he would look at it again so i sent my car and the computer to Autotek and a few days later the car was running. I go to pick it up and when i start it the check engine light is on, RPM gauge is floating and bouncing freely, and the engine fans wont kick on. None of these issues were present before taking my car in he insisted that these were problem from before i brought the car to him. So i took my car to stop him from doing any more damage and ordered another ECM once i received it i had my mechanic plug it in and all my issues were gone everything running smooth. called to get a refund and they denied me and said the couldnt even though he did nothing but mess up my car he would not come to the phone or even talk to me about the situation the receptionist then got mad at me for being irritated about his attitude i would NEVER go here again or recommend anyone DO NOT GO HERE he is just a thief and i do not know how he is still in business.
