Owner was honest and price was fair. I brought my car to another shop prior who said they couldnt wield my existing exhaust catalytic converter and wanted to charge me $$$$ to install a new one. I brought it here for a second opinion and it worked out.

Ive had this weird loud noise from my car for a while and other shops couldnt figure out what it was, within a few minutes of him looking at it he figured it out and I gave him the go ahead to fix it. Now I can actually hear my radio! It was a old AC compressor

Great service! I spoke to him on the phone and my wife brought the car in. He repaired our car very quickly. He even noted a few other things that we should look at doing in the future. But he did not pressure us at all. He was very nice and he explained things so that even my wife could understand. It is refreshing to find mechanics that are straight forward, respectful, non-pressuring, no up-selling, and does great work. I definitely recommend A OK Mufflers.

Came in one day asked for a quote on a delete on a resonator and replaced with aftermarket ones they happily said they’d do it, next day I show up to get the work done all the sudden the guy refuses service and claims it illegal. Waste of time!!

I have a 1990 BMW that A Ok has serviced several times. Initially for the Catalytic Converter. The repairs and service were excellent. When my Cat burned out 2 years later, A Ok honored the warranty and replaced the Cat without issue. I have also had the brakes and minor repairs performed, which I am very happy with. Highly recommended!

I was told by different shops that I would need a new catalytic converter for my wifes Dodge Caravan by different mechanics. Then I came across Robert from word of mouth referral. After checking it out, he told me I didnt need it. Saved me about $300. Great mechanic, good man, and even dropped me off home and picked me back up when the work was done, all in one work day. HIGHLY recommended!! Its been hard to find a good mechanic with good prices that actually gets work done in a timely fashion since I moved here in 2008. 5 years later, and Robert will most definitely become my new permanent mechanic. Great mechanics, I have been take my cars and trucks to Robert for more than 15 years and my kids now take their own cars to him.

Came in to get an oil leak diagnosed and fixed. I got the work done that was recommended, then a week later my timing belt came off due to them putting in on incorrectly. Thet fixed that issue for free... except my car is still leaking oil and my engine now clicks as loud as a tractor. Id demand they fix it, but Im too afraid to bring my car back there. Find somewhere else

Absolutely fantastic service here! They installed a new catalytic converter for me in under an hour!

Brought my car in because the brakes were seizing up. Robert told me I had power steering fluid in the brakes and would have to replace the whole system (except for the back brakes).Spoke to my dad who worked on the car beforehand and said that qasnt possible. Went back and spoke with Robert who was very upset and said he couldnt help me unless I paid $500.He ended up leaving the car in his parking lot without brake fluid for me to tow.EDIT: While we were waiting Robert came to me and offered to at least put fluid in the master and bleed the brakes for $45.This is a lot better customer service than before and for that he gets three stars instead of one.

The owner straight-out lied to my face. He misdiagnosed my problem and when I got my car back it was worse than it has ever been. I will be talking to the Better Business Bureau and the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce about this place. Please dont ever go here.

Liers. Plain and simple

My car never had performance issues until I took it here. Brought it in to fix an oil leak, now the car stalls every time it idles. Brought it back once for them to fix their fix but now it runs worse than ever. Afraid if I ask them to fix their mistake again they will only make it worse
