When I opted to buy a simple wedding dress (online) I knew I needed something to make it unique. I found a beautiful cape online, but it was out of my budget, and felt I could have a custom made version made for my wedding. Thats where the Genesis Bridal team came in and completed exceed my expectations. I showed Lilia, the owner, and the seamstress the cape I found online and they said they could make something similar, not a problem. A few weeks later I get a text from Lilia with photos of 6 different fabric options & I am SO happy with the one we ended up going with. It came out absolutely beautiful and made my wedding dress perfect. They are such a wonderful team, I even came back again to make a few alterations to the original cape for my church wedding. Thank you so much for the remarkable experience for my first time trying on wedding gowns. The stylist was very accommodating and made me feel very comfortable. Such a beautiful boutique!! I had a Gala for my work and could not find any dresses that suited me. I searched at Windsor, Macys and random other boutiques. I couldnt find anything that fit my liking. When I came to Genesis I was greeted and asked what type of dress I was looking for. I found multiple dresses I liked. So many styles and colors to choose from and they can even do custom dresses (I didnt have enough time for a custom one, I needed it soon). I found this fancy red dress that felt soooo comfortable and soft. It was like a dream! So I picked it out and that ordered it for me! Came back the following week for fittings and by the following week it was perfect! I got so many compliments all night long! This boutique clearly sets itself apart from the other boutiques in Santa Ana. Its so organized and elegant! Ill for sure be coming back for all my next dress for any events I have in the future! Wow i have not seen more horrible treatment towards customers in a long time. I do not typically leave a bad review, but this place does not deserve the high stars left by few satisfied customers. When we initially walked in to pick out our bridesmaid dresses, the store associates were attentive and sweet the whole entire way. The bridesmaids paid $150/ dress each and left to pick up the dresses in the promised week. The week of when the dress was due, the maid of honor called the place and they told her that they could not make the sale due to the vendor availability. It took for her to call them to find that out. Then it seemed like things got squared away and we were promised the dresses to be delivered but a few weeks later. The day they were supposed to be delivered, yet again the same thing happened and last minute we found out that the dresses were not available. Promised in a different ( and cheaper) style, the dresses were promised a third time and in a few days. Then the day of they were yet AGAIN not available. That is the third time throughout this whole process. That is after the store charged the girls $150/ dress each. That is an unacceptable treatment of their customers and I really hope that people do not have to go through the same kind of experience as we did. Absolutely terrible and unethical.
