I had been in the market for a used Honda for months, when I saw the car I wanted online at SOC it was “perfect”. The car was very clean, almost looks new for a 2016. My entire experience From the first conversation with the online representative to the in person dealings with the sales representative and finally signing the contracts with the finance manager, was nothing short of excellent. The showroom is modern, clean, and inviting. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. I was hopeful to bring my Subaru in for service. I called on a Monday and spoke to Roxanna but wanted to get a quote before scheduling the service which required speaking to a specialist. She stated none were available at the time and to please leave them a message, which I did. The next morning after not hearing back I called again and spoke to someone else who also was unable to locate the right person for me to speak to over the phone but stated she would reach out to them and took my number. These specialist must be special because it has been over a week and I have never heard back.Update. I got a call from Raj Oct 20th and spoke to him the same day. He said he would email me a quote after providing him my VIN #. I have never heard back. I wrote him another email a week later to check back in but still no response 2 weeks out.
I don’t typically have 5 star service at dealerships, especially at the service counter, so my review is really for John. He’s just a genuine dude whom made this experience pleasant. Being the oldest/Golden child, my parents selected me to take the car in for an oil change. However, it was recommend by John to get a maintenance service done although he never pressured me or made me feel bad for what I selected (which I feel like I’ve felt when getting our other cars serviced *cough* Ford). The waiting area was great and it wasn’t too cold in there and all the employees there seemed to be happy to be there.Thank you John, service team, for helping me and getting me in and out of there seamlessly.
My car buying experience was very straightforward and painless. There was absolutely no pressure from any sales people. People were knowledgeable and helpful and if they didnt have the answers they found someone who could help. They didnt have the car I wanted on the lot but were able to order me exactly what I wanted. Once my car arrived they had someone come out and explain all the features and answer any questions I had. This was one of the most pleasant experiences Ive ever had buying a car. I dont know if all Subaru dealerships are like this since this was my first Subaru purchase, but I would definitely buy from here again based on the amazing customer service and no pressure purchase experience I had.
Carter Chi is one of the most clean people i have ever encountered. I mean, he smelled better than old spice. I would highly recommend having more employees like him. I have had such great experiences here. This is my second Subaru after the lease on my first one came to an end. Dennis and Steve found me the right SUV for me and my family. They take the time to show you the car and explain all the features on all the different models and are happy to answer questions. I even had my dog with my while signing all the paperwork for the car as the dealership is dog friendly. And they definitely are. Everyone came over to give our big English bulldog a pet. Long story however, I was looking to lease a Subaru STI and was emailing so many different dealers that were not willing to negotiate or were tacking ridiculous mark up due to chip shortages. I emailed Steve directly and he was quick to replying back to me. I come to the dealer and was greeted by Miguel who by the way is a great person to chit chat with. Steve and Miguel were nothing but great people who were even honest and straight forward with everything. This was probably the easiest and most simple process that I ever dealt with when it comes to cars. I would recommend anyone looking for a new Subaru to come by Subaru Orange Coast and trust when I say this that they will take care of you.
Great car buying experience. The dealership is bright and open with comfortable lounge areas. They even have a sitting area with iPads so the kids can play games. Everything from test drive to negotiating to signing paperwork was smooth and no pressure. I especially liked that they have you sign all the documents electronically and rather than getting a ton of papers to keep track of you just get a memory stick with everything on it. I will definitely be recommending them to any of my friends looking for a new car.

Just bought a new Outback from this dealership and it was seriously a great experience. Ive only bought a car once before (not Subaru) and that salesperson did not know what they were talking about and were very pushy. Here I worked with Charles and he was so nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I reserved this car as it was being shipped to the dealership and Charles ensured that the car would go to me and had the feature I wanted ordered and installed without a hitch. His recommendations helped me to get a higher trade-in value for my previous car and he helped me to lock in the lower APR financing before the end of the month. He even worked on his days off to deliver the car to me in Marina del Rey and had a training specialist tag along to show me all of the new features in my new car just steps outside my home. Fantastic service and very knowledgeable people. Highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase or service a Subaru - ask for Charles!

With the shortage of available cars due to the chip shortage, we didn’t get the greatest deal on the car (paid MSRP), but it was not a bad price to start with. Our salesman was great, very nice. Everyone was super friendly which made it relatively painless. Love the car too!
The service department was incredibly overpriced but I didnt have a choice, they lost my sunglasses, and forgot most of the things I asked the tech to perform, including not cleaning my car, not replacing a part I asked them to replace that they said they would, and not getting information about another problem with the car. They unplugged my dashcam, and my phone charger (did they take my car to run errands? Joy riding?). Really bad experience, try other dealers.
Costumer service was fine. But, I would strongly suggest not bringing your vehicle here for maintenance. First off, blew my engine under warranty. They replaced it but left numerous hose clamps loose, charged me for an oil change (which should of been covered under warranty) charged me for a tire rotation which they did not do.Secondly, just recently got an oil change with them, techs forgot about two fasteners holding the splash shield on which caused it to droop down and get destroyed and the only thing they did was put the fasteners back and didn’t replace it.There is ZERO quality control here. I will be going to another Subaru from now on.
Horrible after sale customer service. Purchased a 2022 Outback Wilderness and had an issue with the outback. I contacted the salesperson, Kyle, finance manager, Randy, to help with resolving the issue. I also emailed the General Manager, Steve Parajeckas, and sales manager, Dan Fann. After numerous phone calls and emails, I was told the upper management wasnt willing to resolve my issue. This type of customer service isnt what I was expecting from them. I would recommend buying somewhere else that will provide customer service after the sale.

Only intended to look at a CPO Subaru Outback. We’ve been interested for awhile and really didn’t think we would jump on this deal but we did! Our sales person is Michael Robles and he hit the ground running. Yes he’s sales and he did his job of closing the sale, however, what I appreciate was the overall customer service experience. Negotiations were reasonable and I’m happy with the end price and with the agreements of the sale. Once all was complete, Michael made it clear we could reach out to him for the follow up items and we did. He was incredibly responsive on phone calls and texts. When I returned today for a quick follow up, he was hands on. Escorted me to service, talked to the service guys and handled all of the paperwork. He kept his word and delivered on everything he promised with no issues. I highly recommend him and this dealership. All were professional and efficient. A great experience!

I am not happy to give a negative review, but I feel like buyers need to beware. I was told by the internet sales manager that they have the exact car I am looking for. I submitted a credit application and went to the dealership thinking I will be signing the paperwork and driving away with my new car. Come to find out the car had a very different interior. I was not even offered an explanation or an apology, just a shrug. Honesty and integrity are of utmost importance, I cant imagine this being encouraged as a practice anywhere. Had I been told that they were having a hard time finding the same specifications I was looking for, I would have gladly accepted other options. I ended up buying a Outback at another dealership - it was different than what I was looking for but love it nonetheless.

If you’re looking for a Subaru, look no further. This dealership was amazing. They will go out of their way to help you. The salesmen (Charles and Cris) that help us find our Outback did everything they could to get us our perfect car. There was never any pressure to purchase or lease the car. They were straight forward with lease payments and didn’t try to make us feel pressured about getting anything we didn’t want. Then the person (I think his name was Steve) who walked us through the lease was great too. We got confused about something that came up and he made sure everything was understood before we went on with the rest. He never rushed us through the contract even though we were way past the closing hours on New Years Eve. Plus if you love the environment which we do, they are as paperless as they can and you sign everything on a electronic table and your lease agreements and all documents are given to you on a flash drive. Warning: they will string you along to get you on the lot.I started talking with the internet sales people with Subaru Orange Coast about a car listed on their website. I expressed clear interest in one specific car (noting the model, color, and trim) and they assured me they had it. We began negotiating the price and they slowly became more vague about the car, but ensured me they had it and that I should come to the dealership to see it... and maybe some other colors. Several times I asked if they had the car I was looking for and they said yes. Eventually, they fessed up to not having it but encouraged me to still come down.This is poor business practice and they should be ashamed of their ethic. If you dont have the car, just tell me so I can keep looking around. Consumers would prefer honesty to empty promises.

I usually dont write reviews but this dealership really upset me.I purchased my Ascent at this dealership, but this review is for their service department.Took my car in for service on the morning of Thursday, 7/18/19, because my rear passenger window shattered on the freeway and needed to be replaced.I was told that the parts will arrive and the job will be completed by the following Monday, and that they did not have loaners available. Fine, I can deal with not having my family vehicle for a couple of days.Come Monday I had to call before they closed to be told that it would not be done until the following day. The adviser couldnt be reached for the rest of the week and I had to call every day with no definitive answer for a completion date. On multiple occasions I was told by the service coordinator that another adviser will call me to provide me with an update, but they never did.If the job is going to take a week, tell your customers that its going to take a week. For a job that long, maybe consider having loaners available. If it is taking longer than you anticipated, the natural thing to do is proactively inform your customers of the delay.When I finally got my car back they did not even take the time to remove all of the broken glass off of the floor. I have attached an image of what I vacuumed from the car floor after my car was ready. If its smaller pieces, Id understand, but I picked up some huge pieces of glass so its clear that thered been minimal effort on their part.Long story short, if the safety of your family and the availability of your vehicle are important to you, service elsewhere.

He broke everything down to a science for me and I knew exactly what I was getting and we talked until I was comfortable in pulling the trigger. I didnt feel rushed or pushed at all. Painless, pressure less purchase, with outstanding customer service from the sales floor right through to finance! I am now the very satisfied owner of a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport, a full two weeks before the expected delivery date! I was ready for a new vehicle and had been researching for months. As a crisis responder, I need a vehicle that is safe, dependable, has good gas mileage, lots of cargo space, and off-road capabilities. Most crossovers lacked the agility and safety features that I found in the Crosstrek, and none of the competitors featured the legroom or headroom of the Crosstrek. At 6’3” “fit” is extremely important, not just for comfort, but for safety. I fit very comfortably in the Crosstrek Sport; I don’t have to duck my head to look up at traffic lights, and my arms aren’t crammed to my sides when I grasp the steering wheel. I am also impressed by the Falken tires; I feel confident if work requires me to follow the police or fire department down unpaved or rough roads to assist clients. The all wheel drive and ground clearance means I can get a bit more adventurous with my hiking and camping excursions!This is my first Subaru, and Kyle Hu from internet sales was a great ambassador for the brand! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed excited about introducing me to the Subaru family. His enthusiasm for the brand is compelling, and definitely increased my confidence in this purchase. I was equally impressed with the cleanliness of the dealership, and their adherence to safety protocols in response to the pandemic. All staff wore appropriate PPE and there was plenty of access to hand sanitizer. Due to their attention to detail and obvious concern for their customers, I felt very comfortable during the test drive and throughout the purchasing process.
My experience at this dealership was amazing! After some rough goings with other dealerships, I came into this one and was helped by Michael Robles. He made me feel valued, and truly seemed to have my best interest as priority. I was walking in not expecting to even want a Subaru, left after test driving to view other cars, but turned right back around 10 mins later because of the lasting impression of Michael and the car (Subaru Forester Premium). Michael got us the best deals, and stayed late to help complete paperwork. I highly recommend this dealership and Michael!

I just bought a Subaru Ascent from Orange Coast with Steven’s help. I was able to locate the exact car my wife and I wanted, and they were able to set it aside when it arrived. I also liked the fact that I was able to negotiate a fair price over the phone with the manager, Billy Tran. I did not want to be in the dealership longer than I had to be with the pandemic going on at this moment.It was fairly easy and pleasant in finishing the paperwork with Steven. I have been dealing with other dealerships and none of them were as friendly or welcoming as they were in Orange Coast. Most other managers are straight out rude and won’t give you the time of day. Billy was the total opposite. I even went up to his office and he came out and introduced himself.Overall, I am happy with my experience here. And I would definitely come back here when we do decide to buy another Subaru.
I came in on New Years Eve, looking for a Forester for my son. I was greeted by Charles Copeland. He was busy with another customer so he asked Cris Baker to assist me. Cris showed me the car and I made my first offer. Instead of presenting my offer to the manager or asked how I came up with the number, in front of me, he snatched the offer and threw it in the trash and said bye. That was the most DESPICABLE behavior for a sales professional. Never judge a book by its cover.

Called first to confirm with Allen that a certain Subaru Ascent would be there. I live 30 minutes away and triple checked the stock number before we drove there. We got there. They didnt have the car. Another dealership pulled the same trick on me before. I feel like all listed online ads for cars are a trap. They just want to offer something else. Wasted my time could have went to a Subaru 5 min away.

I never once got that “pushy car salesmen” persona that we’ve all encountered or seen on TV lol... He took a chance on me and reserved the car for over a week, so I can get everything together on my end since I am a 1st time buyer. With everything going on with COVID, I was able to do just about everything from home, come in sign a few docs, and leave with my BRZ! I’m so happy! Oh and big shout out to Randy as well! He is literally doing all my DMV paperwork and really worked some magic with the bank to get me a little bit more bells and whistles lol you are in good hands with these guys!

To be quite honest, I’d rate my experience 100 stars if I could. I came into the dealership with a loved one that was interested in looking at a car, but I myself absolutely had no interest in trading in my car. After walking around a bit, a car piqued my interest and I started to ask some general questions overall. A week later, I picked up my first Subaru. The rep Jesse went above and beyond and was the greatest help at getting me a deal, as well as handling my trade in. Definitely recommend asking for Jesse should you be interested in a new car as he made the process simple and was super knowledgeable with all the questions I had. I absolutely love my new car and am so glad I went into the dealer that day!
Ive been buying cars for years - lets just say its a miserable process except for the art of the deal. Takes way too much time and I have no patients for the shenanigans. Jake is one of the best salespeople I have met in a long time - he did EVERYTHING I asked of him with a smile and made me right. I did not intend to purchase the day I met him - he just made it too easy. The best is that his Sales Manager and Finance Manager ended up being a great extension of the rest of the process - super easy and great guys! I highly recommend this team - they make the dealership look good! Oh and lets not forget Red - what a cool person! She gave me the down low on how to operate this new beast! As a first time car buyer walking into my first dealership ever, I wasnt sure what to expect, but I certainly wasnt expecting it to go as excellently as it did. (For a little bit of context, I did know exactly what I wanted going in, a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Premium, so I didnt really need to be sold on a car.)The people who worked there were very friendly and helpful. My particular salesman, Michael Robles, was absolutely wonderful to work with. Aside from being very personable and nice, he was also very patient and never once pressured me into anything. At every point in the process, he made sure to keep me informed of all of my options and answered any questions that I had about the car and the process of buying one--especially helpful as I, like I said before, had never bought a car before. He was very willing to work on my schedule, even on his days off (though, thankfully, my availability lined up with his). Im deeply grateful that I got to work with him.Once in the financing office, I was helped by Steven Ong. He was also very nice, and went through the sales process very expediently. I was never pressured to spend more money on other features like an extended warranty. He also explained everything that I was signing, which I also really appreciated.All in all, Im positively thrilled with my experience here.

Especially during this time of pandemic that were in, they were very understanding and sensitive to your situation and do the best to meet your needs. I was able to talk to them without any fear that they would push any packages or other things on me. Kyle Hu was the one who helped me out, and he really kept everything about the process smooth, short and sweet. The best part about it was that they weren’t pushy as other dealerships can be. Hello so I’m here to say how little the Subaru dealership cares about their customers. Yesterday I brought my car in for an oil change when I picked itUp I made it .2 miles when my car started to feel wrong and very hard to control my vehicle. I turned around to go back to dealership when at the intersection my car died on me and the dealership wouldn’t help me get my car back to dealership. Finally got it going and rolled back in the car dangerously on my own. When I got there I found out they didn’t put oil back into a my car ruining my motor completely after putting me in harms way. I told them after the engine is finished I wanted to sell my car to them because I did not feel safe after they ruined my engine. They decided to lowball me and insult me saying it’s a good thing it happened because I get a new motor. I didn’t want a new one they put me at risk and wouldn’t even give me a fair deal. I went to other dealerships who all said they did not treat me fairly including Subaru of North America and they still won’t help me. Please go to a different dealership they don’t care about your safety and won’t help to make things right. I’m very disappointed after owning Subaru‘a for year.
I have bought a lot of cars in my time but do have to say that this was one of the most pleasurable car buying experiences. They were prompt in their responses after researching the vehicle I wanted and did not play any games unlike some other dealers. Charles Copeland was excellent and made the car buying experience very positive. All around top notch service at this Subaru dealership. There were a lot of closer Subaru dealers but we drove to this one and they did not fail to impress me. Will be going back to purchase an outback hopefully soon.
Despite how stressful getting a car repaired can be, the service supervisor, John, was so friendly and made this experience painless and as easy as possible. They were timely, reasonably priced, and extremely kind and considerate throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone with a Subaru that needs any work done!

It was such a pleasant experience!I have had a Subaru Outback for about three years and loved driving it. My husband recently decided to upgrade to a bigger car than from what hed been driving. We checked out the Forester since we already owned an Outback and liked the look of the car. My husband did the negotiation online through Steven Ong and sales manager, Billy. I figured buying my first new car at a dealership would be a headache. Instead it was the most straight forward transaction that Ive dealt with. Billy helped me out over the phone and in shock the exact car I called in about had arrived just the day before. Sure enough as I was arriving I was welcomed by Billy who then introduced me to Jake who made the rest of the transaction fly by. I test drove my car, and did all the paper work within about 2 hours. The guys are all very professional and helpful. Matt W. is an outstanding service advisor!!! He gives you accurate information, promptly, so you can make decisions quickly. He returns calls & texts quickly. He even sends a bill online, so you can pay in advance, if you choose. He goes above and beyond. My car’s service had been done, and it was washed already. I added one more service to my order, on Monday morning. As soon as that was done, he offered to wash it again, as it had been parked there on Sunday,. Kyle Hu was such a huge help in getting me my first car. Even though I came early he was still available to take me on a test drive and show me everything the car had to offer. He was also able to finance me with a better rate than I expected which was nice. The cherry on top was Kyle took the time to actually deliver the vehicle and documents to my door to complete the purchase. Overall a very pleasant experience that I would recommend.

He got me a great deal and low interest rate so I decided to go for it! Steven in finance was fast and kind, finance is usually the most annoying part but they make it smooth and easy. If you are going here for the airbag recall, be careful of all the bogus repairs they recommend. We went here for the annoying airbag recall for the second time and they recommended a repair amounting to 2800 dollars. I had to change the radiator because of a coolant leak. That was repaired at a local repair shop. Yet, this stealership was telling me I have a coolant leak. I checked for a leak after the car was picked up. The coolant reservoir is full. Where is the leak? I need to repair something I already repaired?

I purchased a Forester remote due to increasing COVID cases in Orange County from Cris Baker. We first met in February before stay-at-home orders, and paused the process since I was working from home. With work meetings outside the home/office coming, we decided to finish the transaction. We completed negotiations via email and phone, Cris got me a good deal, and personally delivered the car and paperwork to my home. We completed the transaction on a folding table in the front yard with masks! Cris made super easy!
Orange Coast Subaru is a pretty good dealership, I went to others in my area and they gave me best deal for 2020 Limited Outback with upgrades and offered the highest price for lese buyout on Mazda 2018 CRX. Staff were polite, not pushy, willing to work with you on price of car and any maintenance warranty package if you should want one. Ask for Kyle and Jonathan- they will take care of you! But all staff were welcoming and helpful. They do good job explaining all the tech components of car and throw in $25 gas card as well.
