These stars are only for the service. My coffee had the strangest bitter aftertaste to it. I got extra shots and a milk substitute, so this coffee was pretty expensive and a big letdown since I could only take a few sips. But the guy who made it was super nice and the wait wasn’t long and they should be commended for that, so three stars it is. Wouldn’t come back for the coffee, though.

Add more hot chocolate than it did coffee the mocha coffee. But the presentation was good. (Update) yes thats correct brother. I appreciate the reply so quickly Im sure next time I go in there all will be well thank you very much!!!

The coffee was delicious. The espresso tasted better by itself than with milk at the time. A very smooth cup with sweet, dried fruit flavors, and had a very pleasant viscosity. A wonderfully balanced cup. The milk traded the dried fruit flavors with milkiness, and cut the body in half.

Super friendly baristas, calm and well-designed interior, and ample seating. The spaced out seating with high ceilings, structured but comfortable chairs, and natural light made this place so much more inviting and peaceful than most coffee shops. Most importantly, they have fantastic coffee (hot oat maple latte). I highly recommend coming here, whether its grabbing a quick coffee, having a meeting, or working/reading!

Aa a coffeholic barista, I dont roast but buy lightly roasted whole beans and grind and brew/hand drip/french-press, and have as americano or latte. Ive stayed in Irvine for three weeks, I found Huskins to be one of the best roastery cafe in town even though it is not a big place, having various single origin beans with light, medium and dark roasting. The best part is, you can find roasted within two days beans ANY DAY of a week. Two thumbs up for the excellence!!!

GreT coffee and service . I’d go for the Uganda cold pour over again. The banana notes are unique and you won’t find this many places.

Without a doubt, this coffee shop is well-known and the best in town because of its coffee and pastries. Im happy to have had the opportunity to experience it, and it was fantastic since everything is so lovely and gratifying here. The service is very amazing, and I strongly suggest these folks!

I was on a business trip and wanted to know where to go for breakfast. I looked it up online. This coffee shop appeared to be an excellent pick, and it was! Excellent breakfast with a variety of selections, innovative ingredients, consistent service, and decent coffee. The service was dependable and prompt. I wholeheartedly suggest this coffee shop!

Im so happy to have discovered Huskins Coffee today! First thing I must say is that the customer service is A1. From the initial call inquiring if they have dine-in (which they do, along with patio seating) the guy who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. He even informed me that I could text my order to the number I called and it would be ready when I arrived!I elected to dine in because of the beautiful photos I saw on google and yelp. It did not disappoint! It looks like this coffee shop has Canadian roots which is super cool and inspired me to order their Hometown Latte which is made with authentic maple syrup from Canada. It was delicious. Reminded me of the delicious lattes I had in Calgary. I also ordered the oatmeal cookie (it was so good!) and their avocado toast. It was nice to see my latte & toast made to order with care.The interior design is so lovely and refreshing. Very spacious with plenty of seating and outlets. The friendliness & patience of the customer service was most memorable (and not overwhelming)- I felt welcome & appreciated! My cashier (according to my receipt) was Kent & the other guy who made my latte name was Dev. These guys were awesome.The music selection was on point (I need to know the playlist!) and at a perfect volume where I could enjoy doing my solo work. Congrats Huskins- youre my new favorite Coffee shop in Tustin! Keep up the great work.

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was pleasant. The mid-morning cakes and coffee were also delicious. The employees work hard and go above and beyond for their clients. I like the hometown (maple) latte not too sweet. And they have some good pour over and drip options too. Their tea game could use some improvement. Their selection is okay, but they use near boiling water for green tea. 80C/175F water is plenty hot for brewing a good green tea.

I am so picky when it comes to place. This place was so relaxing. When I tasted their coffee here, I was so amazed for it has a good mix of flavors. I loved it so much. If you enjoy reading books while having a cup of coffee, they have more interesting books here. Just come!

Can’t say enough great things about the coffee here. The daily drip coffee offerings are always so good. The Hometown Latte, made with maple syrup, is definitely my favorite latte in all of So Cal. The other remaining espresso drinks I’ve tried are delicious. The staff is super friendly and the decor is awesome.

New coffee place that has a really modern, hip simple interior design. A lot of natural light and seating that is nice for studying/working. They have a unique signature drink (made with Canadian maple syrup) as well as other yummy drinks.Great, friendly staff! They’re food and drinks are really good. The problem is you’ll never get to order because they’re line is super slow, and they’re always out of stuff.

Im from Colorado but came out to Cali for vacation. Was looking for a local shop to try something new. Owner was friendly and the coffee was delicious. I ended up getting a peppermint mocha special for the season which is pictured.The look indoors is very modern and felt like a good place to hang out. Judging by other customers there it appears it mostly consisted of college aged student working on laptops. This was late in the morning and on a weekday so it was not very busy when we were there.

We ordered two drinks--green tea and cold brew--and a chocolate muffin. Perfect. We will return!

When they first opened I had a horrible experience here. 2 years later I came in again and was pleasantly surprised. No more snooty baristas and a properly made flat white that was tasty. I will definitely return.

This has to be one of the best cups of coffee Ive had in a long time. They have real Canadian maple syrup that they put in one of the coffees. Love it. 10/10

I spend a huge amount of time here so I think I can positively say that this place is amazing and always has been. The employees and owner are all incredibly kind and the quality/variation of coffee is better than any fast-chain can offer. The white walls/high ceilings/plant life/ color coordination give this place such a beautiful welcoming feeling and is what draws me here rather than being home. The parking garage for the most part is always open and you can find the retail parking section when you turn in on the left. I absolutely love being here.

Finally!!!! A beautiful, minimalistic coffee shop in the OC with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. WiFi was great, food / drinks were tasty, seating was comfy. Im a huge fan of Huskins - will be camping out here to do some reading any chance I get.

This coffee shop is in an apartment complex. You can park in temporary parking on the street if youre grabbing something to go. The coffee is really good, and they have a fun maple latte.

Great little Canadian spot to have coffee. I had a Cortado which was deliciously made. Staff was so friendly upon arrival and the decor was cute.

Kent (the owner) has become a friend, and every employee he has hired feels like family when we walk in the front door. As an added bonus to the good vibes, the coffee is AMAZING! (my personal Fav is an Oatmilk Latte, which I havent actually liked at other places)Maybe the vibe is so great and welcoming because the owners are Canadians? I love Canada, I love this coffee shop.

Nice place. Well roasted coffee, good atmosphere. I love how they have the roaster out in plain sight. I asked Megan a ton of questions about the roaster because I am interested in that kind of thing, and she patiently answered every one of them. Best coffee in OC hands down. Perfect Ethiopian roast, and other origins were also top notch. Location is unusual but well worth the trip. Decor is also great.

I was so excited to hear about this new coffee shop opening up in my work neighborhood. What I like best is that they roast their beans in house. This means your coffee is as fresh as it can get! I have not ordered anything that I havent absolutely loved! Staff is very friendly, and expertly craft coffee drinks. They do that thing with the foam that looks like hearts or trees.Theyve installed beer taps too, which I probably wont get to try, but its great for the residents of the apartments.

I clean this places beer lines out every other week and to be perfectly honest I look forward to this place the most out of all my stops. Everyone is so pleasant and the coffee is just fantastic. I tell all my friends to try this place out.

Sitting here sipping on the Hometown Latte with oat milk and having their chocolate croissant warmed as the rain falls outside is simply perfect.

The coffee is fantastic, and the interior design is open and airy. The windows are huge, letting a ton of bright light through. Theres free WiFi too so its a great place to chill and work or study.

Amazing place made by a former NHL player. Design is so pretty but the real star is the coffee and drinks. I had a matcha latte with almond milk. They have the most expensive espresso machine on the market and they know how to use it. They roast their own beans and soon will be serving beer as wellTheir foods are outstanding particularly the avo toast which is so common and almost always terrible but these guys use a touch of cayenne. So good. Their sugar and maple syrup comes from Canada as well. Hurry and come. Parking can be found in the leasing office of the apartment above the shop. Guest parking is free for Huskins family.

Beautiful space, excellent coffee! Owners Kent and Bri Huskins have designed a unique coffee house space honoring their Canadian and American stories and showcasing coffee, teas and treats the way it should be done. The Americano is bold and not bitter in the least. The Hometown Latte is delicious with maple syrup directly from Kent’s hometown of Almonte, ON. Our son enjoyed a cinnamon pullapart and an orange spice tea. We hear there’s wine and beer coming soon. We will be back to enjoy the patio space soon! Seriously well done. We will be certain to “stay grounded” at Huskins Coffee Co.
