Great service! I took my sewing machine in for a tune up and it was ready in a couple days. They cleaned it up and now it runs better than ever! The owners were very helpful and even loosened a pair of my scissors that were too tight. I will definitely be returning for future maintenance and to sharpen my scissors.

Im so glad I found this place! I drove around to three other places looking for someone to repair my sewing machine before finding Maquinsal Sewing Machines. Maquinsal sells industrial sewing machines and rents them too BUT they also repair basic home use sewing machines as well! I bought a used sewing machine at a local thrift store and needed some help it get it running again. Some places werent sure if it was worth fixing and another place wanted me to trade it in for a new machine. One other place was going to charge me $150 just to go in and see what the problem was.Hector, the owner, charged me way less, fixed it up in a day. He loves sewing machines and you can definitely see his passion. His colleagues even developed a sewing machine for folks who are wheelchair bound! He happily shares his time and craft.If you are in the market for an industrial machine, need your machine fixed or even if you want to rent a machine... please make a stop at Maquinsal. I had thought they only worked on commercial grade machines, but they said they would repair home models as well. I took over my grandmothers circa 1972 Kenmore that I pulled out of the garage for the first time in about 25 years. I wasnt even sure it worked anymore. They took it in, gave it a good cleaning and oiling, and tested it out. I turned it in on a Wednesday and they were done with it in 48 hours. Great service, good pricing, and friendly folks. I would take my machine there again. Note: the parking lot is behind the building and you enter it off of Cypress Street.
