A fine collection of new and used. I would love to see more books added to the space but maybe in time.

Owner is super nice and helpful. Small but packed with tons of records, new and vintage. Great prices and found some hidden gems. Smaller than the big box record shop but way better!

Came in late, just before closing hour, yet managed to come across a very good selection of vynils at good prices. Came out with a couple of nice Jazz jewels. Didnt have time to go back the following day before leaving, but will certainly make it a must-stop everytime Im nearby again. The owner was quite ammicable too. Highly recommended spot for vinyl collectors.

There are a ton of hidden gems in this small record store, most of which for a fraction of what youd pay at other stores. A must-visit for rock and jazz enthusiasts!

OGs that arent steep, do not sleep... Dont overlook the $1 bin. DITC 😉I dont usually blow my spots but I want this place to thrive as they have a true and humble vibe. Old and new, theres something for everyone. Good genre selection, Rock to Jazz to Hip Hop etc etc etc. Not the biggest space so dont expect to dig for hours and hours, they do have enough to make it worth your while though. Thats not to say that you wont leave with 50+ pieces, lol.Bill it was a pleasure man, youve made a customer for life. For the love of music, everyones journey is different but theyre all worthwhile. Great record store off Santa Ana with not just fresh and funky records,but some Goodwill quality clothes for cosplaying and probably theater costuming. There’s even a pinball cabinet,with a new one almost every day. Liked this swag cuz it was like clothes Wes Anderson characters would wear

There is a lot of great things to say about this place. A wonderful and friendly environment. A large Rock section with a decent amount of other genres. Excellent prices, but most importantly its really well owned and staffed. I had an outstanding experience today and the owner was very nice, generous and welcoming. Three attributes that you unfortunately dont see a lot in record stores. Thanks left of the dial.

Visited Left of The Dial Records for the first time the other day. Bill was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I left with a new turntable and several albums as a Christmas gift for my wife. Always a treasure hunt at this fabulous record store. The owner is quite knowledgeable when you are trying to find that special record, but are having trouble remembering which one it is. He will also locate it for you if its not in stock. Both vintage and new releases. CDs, turntables, some cassettes, pins, and even a few 8 Track tapes. Like I said, always a treasure hunt and you find something you didnt even know that you were looking for.

This is it. This is the record store you want to go to. I have never met a nicer, more friendly guy than the owner here. That’s rare to say for any business let alone a record store.The selection is great; lots of variety but also a place to get the classics. There are often very good deals to be found; found a Vic Chesnutt record from a previous Record Store Day for dirt cheap. Seems to be running nice discounts frequently as well.I come back not only for the records but for the genuine people that run the place.

This was easily one of my best experiences at a record store! Im 13 and for me 10$ is worth a lot too me and you cant buy much with that, but then I stroll by a small record shop called The Left of The Dial Records and it was small, but promising. I was exited to see all the bands I like in such a small record shop. The prices are what blew me away though. I walked out with 8 cds that day when at a different record shop I wouldve only gotten 2 at the most. Having 10$ in all. I definitely recommend stopping buy this store.

Magnífico!! This place has it all, friendly service new and cleaned used Lps, turntables, amazing speakers, sound systems, t shirts and different accessories. Great record store i recently discovered. Its only 10min from where i live! Thr owner super nice and very helpful.

Called a couple weeks before record store day To see if they were getting something that I was looking for to. Spoke with someone on the phone for over 5 to 10 minutes about it and they told me it was on its way and would be available. FF I get to the shop to be first in line getting there at 3am and low and behold they not only didnt get the record I wanted they never even requested to get it. Then when asked if thats the only thing I came for I asked for 3-4 other punk / pop punk titles and even some non record store day stuff and they had none of it. If youre looking for anything punk rock, pop punk or anything emo or remotely like it forget this shop all together. They were even kind of rude about it.

Great local place...If you havent been GO!....1. Located right off of 4th street, this area has a street filled with cool hipster eating places. 2. Bring quarters for metered parking. 3. Nice selection of Rock, Hard Rock. Decent hiphop rap section, some new stuff on the front wall when you walk in. GREAT prices....buy some vinyl then go around the corner to eat at Dos Chinos....yeet....
