The owner has an amazing collection of unusual and hard-to-find pieces. We have been so pleased with the Spanish Mission piece we bought from him and receive many compliments from visitors to our home. The owner truly cares about his customers and goes above and beyond great customer service. I believe he is the best antique purveyor in all of Santa Barbara, and I make a point to visit his shop on every return visit.

Adnan is first class- genuinely loves his work and his clients. You don’t find many business owners like this anymore. His pieces are unique and second to none. We always stop in and always find something we love.

I have been visiting Antica Gallery for a few years now and even if I am not looking for anything specific, I enjoy the lovely atmosphere of the store and conversation with its personable and knowledgeable owner, Adnan Orali. I get the idea that I am not the only one to occasionally enter the store as a peaceful refuge and surround myself with beautiful handmade furniture, all of which has a story. On one occasion, I bought two bedside tables because of their beauty as well as their antecedence. Their smooth surfaces glow with colors left over from the salvaged wood of the boats from which they were made. Recently, I entered the store because I needed a large piece in which to house an archive of family photographs. Adnan walked me directly to a handsome Spanish Colonial cabinet whose large proportions were perfect for the purpose I had in mind. I was daunted by the height and weight of the piece, but Adnan assured me that he and his loyal helper would deliver it to me. After taking a few more turns around the store, I decided to buy a pretty little cupboard that had once been used in a kitchen and that had been crafted by artisans in India in the style of the English colonists for whom it had been made. Finally I departed, looking forward to the delivery day. Not long later, at our agreed upon hour, Adnan and his helper arrived exactly on time, and in the pouring rain carried in my new pieces and situated them in their new home. They were perfect.
