Clean, organized place to get all of your UCSB gear like shirts, hoodies, lanyards and much more. Do look out for the sale rack in the men’s section near the back wall. You can find good deals.

The campus store is built as much for tourists or parents as it is students. This is where youll get hoodies, coffee mugs, bumper stickers, that kind of thing. Theyll also offer general college living kind of stuff, like paper, pencils / pens; headphones, office productivity software, water bottles. Its inside the UCEN, so next to lots of food options.

Lots of gear to choose from and staff is real friendly. The only one thing I want to suggest is they need to offer bigger sizes XXL & 3XL for us bigger taller people.. I wanted to rep a UCSB Shirt or Sweater but had no luck in finding anything.

Im sure they can spot alumni from a mile away! Friendly students staff the store and are very helpful.

It really has anything a student can need for school or just day to day living which is really nice if youre in a pinch. The people there are really nice with helping you out, even if it isnt for the campus store itself but for guidance around campus. My only issue with it is the prices are extremely inflated. You know how you can get a bag family bag of chips for like $3 at the grocery store but at a gas station its like $6? Thats basically how it goes getting things at the campus store as well. Certain things are a very reasonable price, but most stuff is way more expensive than its worth.

It has everything you need to represent the best university in the world. Shirts, sweaters, pants, and license plate covers. The employees are also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to visit.

Its a little hard to find it since Im not a student and the signs didnt mention it (its right next to the Starbucks!). Prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and nice. I couldnt find one item i needed and the staff was kind enough to go to the back and check and found it for me. The location is big and you will find everything you need (reasonably!)

Perhaps the most beautiful setting for any university in the country. Then you add the WORLD CLASS academics and you have the makings of the most elite University in America. Ivy league academics on the beach in Santa Barbara. Priceless!

Most books and school supplies are significantly overpriced. Additionally their return policy on many of those items is so strict that they might as well not even accept returns. In general don’t shop here for school supplies unless you absolutely have to. It’s a pretty good place to get UCSB merch though.

Really fantastic used bookstore. excellent collection and well organized. the kind of magical spot where you can come in looking for a book, find it for cheap, and then find 10 other excellent books, also for cheap, that you love.

Very convenient but overpriced place. Has everything a college student needs to start the quarter, but be prepared to spend a lot.Bookstore is at the very back, down the stairs; get your overpriced textbooks there and bring them up to the cashier upstairs to purchase.

Like all college bookstores, this one is a massive ripoff. Every single product (including 99.99% of textbooks!!!!!!!!!) can be bought elsewhere (Amazon) for way way cheaper and with free two day shipping. Theres no reason to ever go here unless you happen to be nearby and in a panic because you need a notebook or something ASAP. I guess you can get UCSB gear here, too, but you could also get that much cheaper online (though I guess not officially sanctioned gear, whatever thats worth).

Has pretty much everything for a standard dorm living. You wouldnt find foods or spices, but body wash, clothing, mugs, labtops and such.

Very friendly, helpful, cheerful staff. So much fun to peruse all the school pride kitsch. Terribly overpriced stuff, but...

It is a really nice, spacious bookstore! The kids helping out were really nice and the merch is like your average college swag, but they also have a section with touristy things from Santa Barbara :)

First time visiting the campus and its a lovely campus. I love the ocean view. Bookstore is big and good for students.

I asked for help and staff was knowledgeable. Sad they didnt have more full zip hoodies. What more can you say about a bookstore? Long walk from the parking lot which is not good for a disabled person.

It has most things youll need for classes at UCSB for decent prices. Most things are somewhat more expensive but not drastically.

UCSB offers a lot of their own merchandise that is hard to find, since UCSB is not a huge division one school. So, if you are looking for UCSB hats, shirts, polos, hoodies, sweaters, towels, socks, mugs, banners, etc. this is the place to go! Their t-shirts are very well priced, but a lot of other items are heavily overpriced. Additionally, as is in all colleges/universities, the textbooks and supplies are extremely overpriced. However, the UCSB Bookstore is always clean and well maintained.

Lots of good UCSB stuff to get there, plus a big book store.

The staff were very friendly and helpful -when not misfocused on their smartphones. I stood 4 feet away from one staff for almost 20 second before they looked up, and apparently startled I was present. I observed 2 other employees either texting while walkung or otherwise reading books while shoppers were clearly needing assistance. Granted, it was a slow morning with few shoppers to assist but the focus of shop staff was not the shoppers. Two stars for staff. To get more stars, staff would have been attentive, timely and more knowledgeable about inventory.As for inventory, the store is well stocked. Although, the merchandising layout makes sense from a Vegas perspective of keeping shoppers looking and retention time. But frankly, the bookstore is not a destination and thus could be streamlined for efficiency and flow. Spacing in most shopping areas felt more like a boutique (cramped), while areas in the back of the store had quite aisles with content of little interest. Hy not make those aisles small to make more room in the high traffic areas?

A bit pricey, but good quality stuff.
