I went here 6 years ago looking for a shade to fit a really hard-to-fit lamp. They were so friendly and net over backwards to try to help me. BTW had to end up ditching the lamp. Anyway I always remembered them. When I needed a new hanging lamp for a dining room in our rental I decided to pop in. I had been looking everywhere and couldn’t find anything that just grabbed me. I walked in and within seconds saw exactly what I wanted. They helped with a longer cord and the correct bulb and I even ended up ordering another one because I liked it so much. Zack is so creative and knowledgeable and truly professional.
I love this place. I was referred to them by two different electricians as we needed a chandelier rewired. They quoted us $100-$300 to fix the chandelier and a lamp. The final bill was $115 total for the two of them and they did a brilliant job. Very friendly and professional as well. So nice to see this kind of business still exists.
I just bought a Herman Miller flying saucer pendant lamp. (Nelson Saucer Bubble Pendant). Unfortunately, it had an absurdly short cord on it. We have high ceilings and then the cord has to go across the ceiling and down to the outlet.Zack rewired this lamp with a nice long cord and plug. He thought I would have to come back the next day, but he did it right away and I picked it up later the same afternoon! It is possible I could have figured out how to do it myself, but I preferred to let him do it as he has the experience. He also charged a reasonable price for his skilled labor.I just wish they were open more days of the week!
It wasnt until I needed a couple of lampshades that I ever noticed this place. I looked around online first, then went to this locally owned niche store to make my purchase. They were properly staffed both times I went (3 people during their busy time). The service and selection were good, but if they dont have what you are looking for, you can look through their catalogs and have them order something for you. I found what I needed in stock. I was a little disappointed when I got home that I had a new harp and lampshade, but no finial. In fact, I had no idea what one was. It would have been nice if they could have done some suggestive selling while I was there. (To be fair, I was asked if I needed any 3-way bulbs.) Overall, a good experience, and its good to support local businesses when the opportunity arises.
They are always so helpful, knowledgeable and have been able to repair and alter lamps for me that I never would have thought could be made the way I wanted them! Great selection of shades and ability to custom order if they dont have in store. Love this place!
Super helpful! Great eye for detail!
