Ive been going here for many years from my first bike (Ninja zx6r) to my latest Suzuki Gsxr. The sales staff are friendly and answer whatever questions you have about bikes, promotions, or gear. The service mechanics are no exception. Aside from one mishap about 4 years ago, there was a scratch on the mirror edge they owned up to it and Ive been pretty happy and dare I say, trust them with my bike maintenance.

Had to get my bike repaired here after an attempted theft. These guys did a great job, were friendly, and kept me in the loop throughout the process. I got new tires put on too and they gave me a price that was about 15% less than Revzilla which I was ecstatic about. Installation was also very fairly priced compared to other places Ive been to.Another note to mention, I had my steering/ignition replaced prior to this second theft/vandalism incident and the last dealership installed it slightly off the mark resulting in an annoying lock position. These guys did it right and it feels like the bike just came from the factory! Great attention to detail too, no missing bolts or rivets like prior places. I definitely recommend this place and will be bringing my bike here for any future work.

They asked me to go shop to other dealers but to come back to their store to buy the vehicle!!!!Im an experienced rider and planing to purchased a (ex400) motorcycle for a member of my family (new rider). Went to the Kawasaki.com web site, filled the form to get a quote. A request for quote was sent to Grand Prix PowerSports.I received an email 2 days latter from Carlos Ruvalcaba asking me to call back. When I called Carlos back and ask him a followup on the quote, he tells me that Company policy, they want you to be there in person and have had a quote from another store....So he basically ask me to go and shop to other dealers, but to come back to him before I buy.Grand Prix PowerSport not only ask you to go to their competitor, but ask you to do that in the middle of a pandemic, when you try to minimize contact with people. Now, Ill contact Kawasaki and ask them to remove Grand Prix PowerSport from their online quoting tool as it appears that It is company policy not to honor that request, but also to send you to their competitor. So save yourself some time and go directly to their competitor!

This review has been long pending.I purchased a Vulcan 900 Custom in August last year. I had visited other dealers before stepping in here and I was dreading the whole process, as it usually is cumbersome and involves haggling. Reed was friendly and very helpful in helping me understand the specifics of the bike. The pricing is transparent and I also got a good deal on some accessories!I got my first service done recently. They are busy and it is hard to find an appointment in a weeks notice. Scott was able to squeeze my service in on a weekday morning. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, good parts and service department, huge selection of bikes. Worth your time, and your bikes.

This is my first bike and I had a wonderful experience at Grand Prix Powersports, Santa Clara.Ask for Reed - he is the best! Not only did he help me with finding the right bike, he also gave me a lot of valuable inputs regarding insurance and maintenance etc. These guys also have some of the best deals from what I could find searching online. Also, they do have a lot of accessories, which you could buy at a discount during the time of your bike purchase. On top of everything, Reed also offered to deliver the bike to my home for free. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase a bike, especially if its your first!

Bought a new Kawasaki from them, buying experience was ok. Went in for the second service and noticed the estimate included a charge for an oil change (manual does not call for it). Thought this was great since I was going to request one regardless. When I came to pick up my bike I noticed the oil was still black. I asked the desk guy about it and he said looks clear to me. They wouldnt have not changed it. Didnt get any traction with this but decided to change the oil myself a few days later. Sure enough it and the filter looked very used. Not impressed at all.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and had a vast knowledge of what they were talking about. They showed me around the store, explained everything I needed to know and made sure I knew exactly what I was buying when I made my decision. The price of the bike I choose was great and they made sure I got the best deal they could possibly give! I couldnt be happier with the purchase that I made from them and I am still extremely happy with the whole package - service, price, quality, it was all delivered at GP Sports.

I love shopping at GP Sports. They have the biggest selection in the Bay Area. And their staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. They really know their stuff.I also like GP Sports because they charge affordable prices. Ive been to other stores in the area and they can be very expensive. This place is not one of those places.I would recommend GP Sports to everyone. You should check them out even if you are just browsing. And if you do decide to buy, you will get a great price here.

PROS:- Partnered with Suzuki and works with all OEM parts.CONS:- N/ANOTES:Im not sure how I feel about paying $125 for an electrical check-up. I took my bike in to get checked up because I knew that I had a rectifier issue and was hoping to get more information on the root cause. Well, they ended up telling me that I definitely have a rectifier issue, but they werent sure what caused the rectifier to blow, so they wanted to do a blanket approach and start by replacing the whole wiring harness. So end result, they confirmed my own assessment, said they wanted to replace the wiring harness and hope that resolves the issue, and Im $125 lighter. Replacing a whole wiring harness sounds a bit extreme, especially before actually examining all terminals, but I understand, just replacing the whole wiring harness is faster than actually seeing what the problem is. I should have never taken it in.

Was thinking about buying a bike, and walked in 5 min before closing. I told them Ill just look around and leave, but everyone was nice, and not one person gave me the stink eye (which I expect coming in that late, I understand). On top of that, when I did end up liking a bike, the sales guy stayed over an hour after closing to walk through the process with me, and even put up with my crazy 4 year who was running around. Given the shop was closed, I had to go back the next day to pick up the bike, and everything was in order and on time. This is my 2nd purchase from them, and I plan on using them for a service shop, too - will update on that side once I have experience.

Bought multiple motorcycles from these guys. They kept screwing up when it came to accessories and parts. Sometimes things happen, and I can understand that, but this happened +5 times in a row. This shop has to get their things in order. They told me they would order a part that they never did order and then they kept changing the dates on when it would arrive. On another order they forgot to order a key part for the assembly. I asked them for help on a defective accessory and they ignored me. I asked their service to install an accessory and they installed it fine, but left a socket extension inside my bike. Did not enjoy dealing with Trent.

I ordered a set of two bearings for my motorcycle. On the day I went to pick it up, I had to wait for 20 minutes while the person responsible for the parts was going to get Iced Coffees for everyone. After he arrived, he brought me my order and instead of ordering a pair of wheel bearings, he only ordered one out of two. Instead of correcting the order, he started arguing with me that I had only ordered the right hand side bearing! Who the hell orders only 1 bearing when replacing two bearings on a motorcycle!?All in all, I walked out, initiated a credit card dispute and will not go there again. With a bad service like that and with an attitude to boot, Im amazed these guys stay in business. Dont give them your business.

Service an epic fail. I called in for a factory recall on my gixxer. Scott the guy acting the manager of the service department told me the work could be done in a hour or 2 and I asked if I could wait while they are working on it since I have work. He said yes. We agreed for me to comeback on a noon time. I did later and Scott said they were 6 biked that got dropped in the morning so they have to work on my bike on the last hour which I couldnt do. Why make appointment at all?? He wasnt sympathetic. He booked another appointment. This time he said come back in the morning as soon as they open. They were able to perform the work this time. However, when I left the shop I noticed the fairing right next to the area they worked on was damaged. I immediately called Scott about the issue but he rightaway dismissed my claim without hearing me out. I convinced him to at least take a look at the bike. He agreed and upon looking he sounded very defensive and dismissive. I told him to check their surveillance camera or at least investigate. Nothing was offered. This shop run by this guy is definitely going south. Extremely poor customer service. There are cheaper and low key service shops who have good customer service and skills that you can go to. Be mindful to trust GP sports. They would likely f*** up your bike as well.
