I would give zero star if there is an option. Don’t buy their service package! Whether your car get service is based on their subjective decision. When the brake light is on, they won’t change brake but change the sensor and make it less responsive.
This is my first mini after years of driving a BMW. While I love my little car, I deeply regret purchasing from Mini of Steven’s Creek. Every time I’ve had to bring my car in for service it’s a total ruckus. They’re majorly disorganized, overbooked, and desperately need a manager that knows how to lead a professional establishment.
Anthony was one of the best service people I’ve ever been in contact with. He has a special way of making a stressful situation seem much more tolerable. He was knowledgeable, friendly and really easy to work with. They didn’t have any loaners for available..So that was a total bummer as I had to eat the cost of my one day rental. I feel like mini should be absorbing that cost if they don’t have one to offer. But my 5 star review is for Anthony. Great customer service.
Hector and Anthony in Service are great! They took care of our car, it came back clean and though they advised me of additional items that need to be done in the future, they never pressured to get me to do right it then.I also want to share a quick note about Mohammad in Sales. My daughter and I planned to meet at the dealership to drop off her car after Service hours. Just as I arrived at the dealer, my daughter called to tell me her car shut down at a stop light on the way there (due to an aged battery which we were going replace there). I went inside and spoke to the Sales Team and explained the situation. Mohammad took charge, found a jumper box, asked me to jump in a car and away we went. Like a pro, her maneuvered the car right behind hers and helped jump the car. His quick thinking and kind act, got my daughter out of an unsafe situation. What a thoughtful and generous thing to do…. I own a 2021 Mini cooper convertible. I Came at 7 Am yesterday with check engine light on. Couldnt schedule because everything is full till October 4.I talked to Carlos, although he was busy he was doing everything he could to help, he stopped what he was doing and came to see the problem.He was most courteous and helpful. so although I was waiting 4 hours, the problem was solved, and the experience was good.Thank you Carlos.
The service itself is great. I only wish Mini had a service department on the San Mateo Peninsula, so I didnt have to drive an hour+ to get my car serviced. I had to wait for my service (2.5 hours) because Mini of Stevens Creek is too far away from my work/home to shuttle me. And as far as I know, a loaner vehicle was not an option for the afternoon. I had to take the afternoon off of work to get my car serviced, which was difficult.
Took my Mini here for service and Taylor (TJ) in the service department was awesome! Super nice and truly made me feel like he had my best interest at heart. I won’t be going back if it’s not with him as my service rep..
I had a great experience purchasing my 2022 Mini Convertible at MINI of Stevens Creek. I wanted a yellow one, and had reached out to them to let me know when they received one, which Alvin did. I bought it the same day and the whole process was seamless! They followed up with me and I went back a few weeks later to learn about more features. Highly recommend!
It went smooth at first, but I received my Mercedes with a broken grill and when I called and emailed them about it, they ignored my calls and texts and sent me to voicemail everytime. They were truly heartless. I ended up paying out of pocket for the damages and repair
Of what had been a great experience thus far, I was let down by a recent visit.I had a nail in the right front tire and needed to be looked into. When I brought it to their attention that we had bought “Tire and Wheel” warranty that should help defer some of the cost of repair, I was told that “they cannot see anything like that in their computer”. I bought the car three years ago and wasn’t sure. I went home and dig through the pile of documents and voila found the agreement. When I called back, I told them that I have the agreement, would they fix it ? I was met with a similar response on the phone”we don’t have any record of the warranty”. I then emailed them the document as proof ( in this day and age, having to do that was disappointing). Finally, they agreed to fix one tire.When I bought the car, I was told the typical sales pitch “we will cover the ties and wheels for 5 years without revealing the fine print. The tire warranty only covers repairs. Guess what- most places e.g. American tire repair everything for free if bought from them.In summary,1. Disappointed that a dealership as large as them, do not have a mechanism to store warranty documents that are sold by them. They are expected customers to hold onto them for 5-6 years in Silicon Valley.2. I recommend that you do not buy the “tire and wheel” warranty because it means nothing.3. Lack of clear communication.4. Their prices as expected are 30% more than competition. Clearly the customer service doesn’t justify the higher price.In the end, I paid out of pocket for all the tires.. at a different store.

Came in and had the worst experience. Tried to buy cash for a used car and the manager told me I had to submit an application for credit and that they do not hold cars if you try to reserve the car so you can grab the funds. So glad I went elsewhere be aware of this place they are sketchy. BTW the associates dress better than the manager and the manager came out looking gangster with a shirt and tattoos.
We purchased a car on June-2021 and four months later we still dont have the title of the car, our temporary plates are expiring and dont know what to do........We continually attempt to contact them but nobody helps.We contacted the Financial Director Dusan but with NO response.I believe he is screening calls because he doesnt call back and its going on for months. I consider this to be very bad customer service
Leased a MINI Countryman here last weekend. The staff were all friendly and the facility was clean. Our sales associate, Pedro, was great. He patiently answered all of our questions and made the entire experience easy.

As a new customer to Mini, the Service Advisor and tech seamed knowledgeable and friendly. They had a serious staffing shortage which made wait times a little bit longer than normal.

Top notch team Very professional. Clean service department. My service writer was accurate and complete. Hate to bring anything up but you might want to know about the cleanup detail not good ... over spray from the wheel cleaner on fender flares and paint, windows were a mess. Do you think i should try to remove over spray or coat the flares with something? and clean the paint with carnauba wax? I cleaned the windows with a diluted vinegar mix.

Had a great experience with Hector at the Mini Service Dept. My convertible top needed a replacement communication harness that confirms the top is closed (only one was in Germany) that would take a couple weeks to get. Hector took the time to update me on the ETA and secured me a loaner car as it would take 2 days to install the new cable. On pick up - there was a loose plastic facia part that needed attention. The service manager (didnt remember his name) helped get that taken care ASAP and I was on my way within 15 minutes.
I had almost lost hope with this dealership with multiple less than satisfactory experiences just stacking up against them. In the time I had my car I have had several service advisors that were clearly working for a paycheck rather than for the client. To my surprise this past year I have been assigned a client advisor that actually does care about the client, and is open and honest about the work that needs to be done. In the years I have been coming here I have only met two others that showed this level of caring. I do highly recommend Hector. If you have the opportunity to have his assist you rest assured you are in good hands. He, and a few others, have restored my faith in this particular dealership and I will continue to purchase minis from this location. I hope the dealership knows and appreciate the talent they have in this individual and look at him as an example when hiring new comers to the Mini Cooper brand.
The guys at Mini of Stevens Creek were great! My daughter was on the lookout for a specific vehicle that isnt the easiest to find in the current used auto market. We were able to reserve the vehicle and make an appointment to come check it out without fear it would sell before we got there. The car was in great condition, just as advertised and the guys got us in and out as fast as they could, which after a 5 hour drive that was only supposed to be 3 1/2, we greatly appreciated! Special shout out to Alvin! He was amazing from start to finish! Thank you, Alvin and everyone else at MINI of Stevens Creek!Update—Had a couple issues after the sale that knocked my review down 2 stars.1. The check was not endorsed correctly from the dealer, resulting in a letter from my bank stating this needed to be corrected or the loan wouldn’t be funded. I called the dealership, left a couple messages, only to never have my call returned. They must have fixed it on their end, because a week later the bank let me know the loan paperwork was finally complete. While I appreciate them correcting their error, a call back would have been nice.2. The A/C went completely out and needed a full replacement. Called the dealer to ask if this is something they check in their presale inspection, because at the dealership when buying the car, I noticed the air wasn’t working well. The salesman assured me it was because we were just sitting in idle and it gets better when driving, which it did, but never great. 2 weeks later the A/C went out completely, and was a very expensive fix. Again, my calls, email, and messages left for the salesman at the dealership went unanswered and unreturned.I was initially impressed with the team at Stevens Creek Mini, but the treatment after sale has been nothing short of disappointing.

However, Chris from the service department went over and beyond, and was amazing to take care of my cars service needs. Same with Travis -- polite, courteous, extremely helpful, kept me informed throughout the process, and just a great person to deal with.

While the purchase of the vehicle went smoothly since then I have received ZERO. no information on my loan and the payment is coming up due. Additionally I paid for several upgrades including window tint, floor mats, weather sealing and no one has reached out to schedule these services again which were prepaid for. This was over 3 weeks ago. I have called and spoke to someone at the dealership 3 different times with promises of a callback to resolve these issues and have had NO callback. I should also have my license plates from the dmv by now and I will assume they were lost but apparently that’s my problem with the dmv and not the dealerships.
Purchasing a car from Stevens was the easiest and best car purchase experience in my life. Id done research on the range of sales prices for a Mini Cooper. I gave Vincent my preference on options, model, color and my price point. Vincent found me the exact car at a better deal than any other dealer in the Bay Area (or So Cal.) To my pleasant surprise they also gave me Weathertec car mats and tinting.
Being my first car, Mini has made the experience very smooth and wonderful. Everyone I have met in the service department has been amazing as well. Always very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. :)
I bought a car from Mini of Stevens Creek and financed it through Capital One. Now I have been trying to register this car for over 3 months, but it appears that the dealer has never transferred the title to the bank/lienholder. Obviously, the DMV does not let me register this car when the ownership isnt clear. In the end, the bank has to provide the title with the lienholder information, but they cannot do that when this dealership is not sending it. I keep escalating the situation with Capital One, but the dealership is just ignoring their call. The bank actually reached out to me to help with getting in touch with the dealer. Whenever I try to call, they promise to call back (never happens) or tell me that according to their records, everything is fine (obviously, it is not, and they have yet failed to provide a tracking number for the title to the bank).Stay away from these people!
I brought my car to Stevens Creek Mini for an electronic problem. They said the battery was dead and I needed to replace it. I did, everything seemed fine. When I got home, I realized the trunk couldnt open. I called back and the advisor apologized and asked me to bring it back at my earliest convenience. Since I live in a different area, It took me 45 mins to drive to the shop. After 15 mins they said they didnt have time to exam the issue and asked me to make an appointment to drop it off again. So, I left with disappointment. Finally, I was able to make an appointment a few weeks later. They examined the problem and told me it has something to do with the circuit board and I needed to leave the car for a few days as they had to order it. I was ok with that.One day when I had to have someone sit at the back, I realized they forgot to put back the belt buckles on the back seat. Now we have a serious safety issue.Every time I go there, I have to spend an hour and half back & forth. Its totally waste of time. The sloppiness of the work is not acceptable and totally unprofessional. Unfortunately, this is the closest shop from where I live, I will definitely not recommend this shop if I have other choices.

1. Wait times are higher to talk to a service advisor even with an appointment.2. When calling a customer about an issue, ( In my case, water pump or belt ), it would be nice to send the pics of what is the issue. It is difficult to comprehend on a phone call the grasp the issue for a normal customer. After all, this is cell phone age and should be easy.3. Car could have been cleaned more internally.

While Luis provided both kind and patient support, Nick offered honest and knowledgeable guidance for this new investment of mine.I personally was blown away with the long hours that the Stevens Creek staff work. I took my 2009, Mini Cooper Clubman in to replace a lower high beam, but while it was there, they found all kinds of other things that needed attention. Although I didn’t want to spend all that money, I am glad they found out all the things that would have gone wrong and replaced them. They even did extra so I would feel better. Thanks for diagnosing everything correctly. My car used to rattle, and had rough start, and now it runs like butter. Thanks, Hector and the service technicians at Mini for listening to all my concerns.

This review is two years late, but I feel it necessary to share my experience.tl;dr: If you know exactly what service you need/want, theyll provide excellent service. But Id get a second opinion before addressing any other surprise repairs they suggest - even if its something seemingly routine like changing your brakes.I took my vehicle to MINI of Stevens Creek in late April / early May 2019 for a routine oil change, which they did well. They also did a multi-point inspection and told me my brakes were in need of immediate replacement, my right control arm was bad & should be replaced soon, and some other repair that would be needed shortly (I think it was a seal of some sort?). The fact that they told me I needed brakes made me skeptical; they had just been replaced about 10-15k miles previously but maybe I had been extra hard on them? All in, I was quoted about $4k in work which I chose to defer for at least a little while.Since then, Ive been driving my car significantly less and have had my car back to two different dealers for oil changes - the first one was the MINI in Concord and the second was a BMW dealership in a different state. Each time, theyve done their own multi-point inspection. The MINI dealer mentioned the brakes but said I still had some life in them & neither dealer has mentioned the control arm or any other necessary repairs.I now live where it snows in the winter so I wanted to get my brakes taken care of before the roads get bad. And, Ive driven another 10-15k miles since MINI of Stevens Creek told me I needed to replace them ASAP so I figured I was long overdue. Well, turns out, they didnt need to be replaced at all! I couldve gotten quite a bit more life out of them, but I still went ahead and replaced them since I already bought the parts & it was worth it for peace of mind heading into winter.If rating on just the oil change service alone, itd be an easy 5 stars. Theyre friendly, scheduling was easy, and my car came back to me looking better than when I dropped it off.Im only taking off one star because, while they lied to me about my brakes being severely worn, I dont know if they lied about the other recommended services. Im less likely to trust them, but it is possible their inspections are just that much more thorough than other dealerships. For now, my car is driving fine, there are no strange noises, and no warning lights have come on so Im choosing to wait for any future repairs.
Great car great price. Mo was great but when I got to finance they tried to make me pay $1100 in Gap when its $350 through my credit union. They hooked me up and brought it down to $390 so I didnt walk and come back with a cashiers check instead(-$40). My interest rate through my credit union is 1.9% but they hooked me up with 2.5% rate because they could I guess. They said I wouldnt have to pay for repairs if I pay 3,600$ on top of my payments. I told them thats 3,600$ in repairs. If its more than that then why am I buying this lemon? Great car at a great price so far and they were super nice its just weird they try stuff like that like in the movies. Every payment now Im going to be thinking about that extra .5% they had to tack on.
Good place for your Mini. Not one of those places that will pressure you into maintenance that you dont need. Not a cheap place for general maintenance though.

Mo and Brandon stayed the distance with us to be sure we secured financing, which took awhile as we ran numbers, but they were able to get me approved with a great deal. Me and my parents were very satisfied with the services provided. We had gone almost at closing time but they were very happy to help me get my dream car. Sales rep, Joseph, was amazing; we had to wait a good while to meet with his manager but he made time fly with his friendly conversation. Manager was great as well; he gave me good advice on my car based on his own experience and gave me good deals. I am very happy with my new car, and thank the both of them for their help.

I love Mini Cooper. This is my 2nd one. Its a great car to have in the city for obvious reasons. We worked with a gentleman named Mark and he was a brand new associate at Mini. He was very helpful and responsive. We really him to make his first sale so we bought the car.

Compared to two other dealers in the SF Bay Area, Stevens Creek, was upfront and started with the biggest discount and went beyond to earn our business. I am completely satisfied with how things went. I got the appearance protection and finance gave us a great price on that for 6 yrs. These days we dont drive much, and definitely I felt didnt need anything to add but since we got such a great day, I felt to get at least one package and Nick in finance knows well of all the products, great guy. Vince and Joe took care of us for the car, they were legit from the beginning and answered all my questions and fixed all concerns to make the car and options exactly what we wanted. Will be back in the future for another Mini!

I recently ordered and bought a Mini EV from this dealership. I love the car and everyone was very nice during the entire process. However, there were loads of miss communication which resulted in frustration and confusion while I was waiting for the car to get built and sent to California. They also made a big mistake with my paperwork and that resulted in me losing money on the whole deal. They accepted that is was their mistake and gave me a small discount on the car, but I still lost a lot of money that I shouldnt have. If you want to shop at this dealership just make sure that you are very meticulous with everything at all times. I personally will not be going back unfortunately.UPDATE: I called the number they gave me in their response to this review and left a message for the General manager that always seemed to be in a meeting. No one has called me back...
Worst dealership Ive dealt with so far . I went for a test drive. Staff member met me outside. Didnt say a word just stood there with the keys. We drove off he said nothing the entire ride . I asked questions about the vehicle and he knew nothing. I initiated a trade few days a go and it takes them a very long time to get back to me about anything. I dont recommend . Will be moving on to a different dealership.
AutoNation/Mini of Stevens Creek earned 5 star review after the efforts of the general manager, sales manager, and service manager. Parts shortages combined with a fickle labor pool are wreaking havoc in various industries. The auto industry is no exception as we attempt to move back to normalicy or a new normal after COVID-19.When Mini of Stevens Creek/AutoNation became aware of my service department experience, the general manager, sales manager, and service manager promptly reached out to me via telephone and e-mail to let me know they were looking into what happened with the lack of communication and what they could do to make sure this was not my lasting impression of their dealership. Findings? Staffing and industry issues had led to miscommunication on whether updates had been provided to me. So basically we had a perfectly serviced vehicle waiting for its new owner and upper managment not aware their staff did not follow-up with the customer. The general manager and service manager offered to return the vehicle immediately as-is but said if given a few more days, they would like to perform my already planned minor upholstery work at their cost.I received the vehicle back days later, highly detailed and tuned up.I am thankful for the response from the AutoNations management team (Casey, Trent, and Harres) in getting this vehicle to me and making this into a positive experience. And I advise perspective buyers not to let industry delays and labor shortages sour you on getting a vehicle. A little patience and persistent communication as we get back to normal. I am enjoying my new vehicle.

Taylor was very helpful and informative regarding my service needs on mini clubman,. I had planned on staying for the service but told it would take several hours. No shuttle service available back to work so uber 27$ each way.
Alvin was amazing throughout this whole process...ordered my car in Oct and it came in before the new year (2 months earlier than anticipated!). He kept me informed of where my car was and just was a great support thru everything. Hes kind, empathetic and didnt come across as a typical salesman.Nick, the Finance Manager, was patient and kind in the whole financing portion and was tenacious in looking for an amazing deal for me.Thank you to both, I love my Mini!
The car I purchased has an issue. I was told by dealer they could and repair. I dropped the car off Wednesday and I haven’t received any update. It’s been 4 day. I’m very disappointed on how unprofessional I’ve been treated.

I have experienced multiple service departments over my lifetime and my experience with Mini Steven’s Creek has been the best.1. They are very communicative and I feel, even if there is a delay, they will let you know. I am not caught wondering what is going on. I remember my last car (Luxury German Brand) I had to take my brand new lease in for some service and I found myself calling the dealership multiple times. That’s never a good sign when YOU are the one calling and wondering. Never had to do that with Mini Steven’s Creek.2. The front desk receptionist was amazing. Super courteous, able to hear me out, and problem solve on the spot on what the best course of action would be. Dealerships should praise and give them recognition more often b/c they are the front lines. And the experience starts with them.3. Everyone I interacted at Mini service team seem like they enjoyed working there. They didn’t give me attitude or make me feel like they hated their jobs.4. They actually did a pretty good job washing my car and giving it back in a clean manner. Again, a German luxury brand off Steven’s creek forgot to wash my car in two occasions. Way to make me feel important!Thanks Mini!

They are friendly but are inconsistent with their quotes. One provider in the past gave me two figures that were off by $1500. The manager approved the lower quote with heavy insistence. Another provider said that he’d “take care” of an issue if I came back with it in the future but when I did, he didn’t work there anymore and they didn’t have a record of it. They are professionals but I hate this part of the car maintenance industry.
Excellent customer service for maintenance appointment. Hector is very good.But beware buying the Multiyear maintenance plan when you buy your car. It was misrepresented and totally not worth the money.
The worst service experience I’ve ever had. They gave me a service appointment, I went there on time and they said they will not be able to do it that day. They gave me another appointment for the day after and the same thing happenned. I went there 2 times and came back home without service. Eventually, I scheduled my service appointment with ‘East Bay Mini’. I am not going this place anymore. Although they keep sending coupons with service discounts, they are more expensive than East Bay Mini.

Emailed several local dealers for price inquiry for a 2 door mini cooper hardtop, specifically requesting email/text reply. Most dealers called me immediately but Luis emailed me to introduce himself. He was very straight forward and provided highly competitive prices on several cars and I was able to make a decision quickly without a long drawn out negotiation. Went to the dealer a couple of days later to complete the paperwork and buy the car. Very painless process, highly recommended.
I bought my used car here after I bought the car and 2 days later I had problems after buying the car and they initially told me that there was no issues with this car and they took care of it and was very happy with the type of service they have. They were really good with there customer service there was miscommunication when I first got it in and told me repairs would be a cost to me and now everything is fixed and manager saw to it that balance was be covered by them as no cost to me. This place is all about the customer service. These people at mini stevens creek are great people and at first initially disappointed but they saw to it that I was taken care of and was a happy customer.
4 hour oil change. With an appointment. Was told 1.5 hours turned into 4 with no additional work done or recommended. Ill be glad when our lease is up. We will not be going with Mini again.

I must say the entire experience with Mini of Steven Creek was AMAZING! The process was incredibly easy. I would like to thank Casey and the entire team, the entire team including his finance person were quick and professional about getting the car delivered and paperwork done in under 1 hour.
