My family and I had the wonderful chance to take their private latte art classes and we loved every second of it! The owner Jaden is so sweet and patient and taught us very thoroughly until we understood the process behind making beautiful latte art. She helped us every step of the way and was always willing to answer our questions. We are very happy and satisfied with the experience we got!We also got to try some of their drinks like the Mango Green Milk Tea with coconut jelly which tastes so fresh, fruity, and delicious! The mango flavor is just right and the jelly works wonderfully with the fruitiness. Would highly recommend their drinks which there are a variety to choose from.

I really enjoyed the cheese coffee. It was interesting but I really enjoyed the combination of that tang with that richness of the coffee.The tiramisu dessert drink was interesting and good. It wasnt too sweet at all.They do not overpower their beverages with sweet sugary flavors. So If you have a major Sweet tooth then you would want to just add extra sweetener and/or extra flavoring to any of your beverage at this establishment.

Got the charcoal matcha latte with nondairy creamer and its so pretty and delicious! Came during a Wednesday afternoon and it wasnt too busy. Currently only doing takeout/outdoor seating.

This cafe is a hidden gem on Homestead rd. Start your day with an amazing hot/cold drink in the cafe after a morning yoga class. The staff is warm, friendly and willing to listen your needs. The place is more like a small but cozy community rather than a standing-along coffee shop.

The best tea and coffee place in the santa Clara! I love their cold brews and Japanese tea lattes, it is so good that I dont even go to other places anymore. Their baristas are very nice and friendly. I feel very happy to support this small business.

Great quality matcha and hojicha powder is used here for their milk tea boba drinks. Super friendly customer service and a great local business to support. I will definitely be coming back and cant wait to be able to dine in as their space seems really welcoming. They are also selling locally made masks that are Harry Potter, star wars, and Pokemon themed. They are very well made, soft but durable material, and with adjustable ear loops. You wont regret stopping by :). Its also so easy to order on their website on your phone and checkout via Apple Pay or Google Pay.

I tried their matcha latte and it was an amazing drink! I dont drink matcha very often but I decided to try it. The matcha itself was high-quality and tasted incredibly pure. I finished the large drink in a matter of seconds. I would 5/5 recommend this place and all the tasty unique drinks that they serve. P.S Always get the large size!I also had their chocolate croissant and it practically melted in my mouth. I am definitely going to come back here.

Quality coffee from ritual coffee! You can taste the difference. Another good thing to mention is the smooth check out process, either order ahead or order onsite. They have done a good job adapting the changes!

I found this place when I was visiting the post office across the street. It is tucked away behind the Jiaren Yoga studio and Jumhwa S.C. Acupuncture Clinic. They are combined to create a very special experience for overall wellness. The cafe is my favorite place for enjoying a wonderful beverage in quiet and peaceful surroundings. The drinks range from a variety of tea and coffee lattes with extra additions like charcoal if you like plus sparkling fruit drinks. The baristas are talented and artistic and there are pastries available to eat along with your drinks. Jiaren cafe is very special and friendly place. Look out Starbucks there is a new cafe in town that blows away the competition.

I love Herbal Latte soooo much!!🥰The formula is healthy and nature! They combine Chinese traditional ”food therapy” treatments with latte style! I love the flavor and it really comfort my stomach. ☺️ Also, Dr. Kim is a great doctor! He uses acupuncture and herbal to help me release my Premenstrual syndrome which really save my life!!

Jiaren Cafe has the best matcha in San Jose, and all of their drinks are high quality. I’ve been going here since they opened up before the pandemic and I’m so glad they’re still here. There are many places that don’t make matcha lattes the right way—but Jiaren cafe is not one of them. It’s smooth, creamy, and whisked well with matcha powder so that it’s not grainy. I love how this cafe nails all of the classics, and puts out different menu items too. Definitely check them out when you get the chance!

Fast, friendly service. We got the pink matcha milk tea, Mango lemonade sparkling and sparkling peach. Nice balance of flavors and sugar level was perfect without need for adjustment. The boba is on the softer side so if you dont want that texture, you can opt for other toppings. They were kind enough to swap out the topping for us.

Recommended by the TPass app and order a Peach Sparkling Juice and milk tea there, super delicious! Very beautiful cafe serving huge selection of coffee and special wellness drinks as well. I took a latte art class there today! It included 2 cups of (espresso and matcha) latte for $30 and it was the one of the best classes I took. The latte was tasty and pretty. Finally I checked off my bucket list for making latte art myself. Definitely recommended. Its also a great way to meet friends since I became friends with the people who took the class with me. :) Their lattes and other drinks are cheap and beautiful as well. A lot of people are studying, reading or enjoying their drinks at the shop. There is also an yoga studio thats related to the cafe. My routine would be latte and then yoga :D

Edit: Jiaren Cafe now also has Pearl Milk Teas available! The pearls are well-made with firm, but well cooked centers and springy, soft exteriors. Definitely ranks up there among my personal favorites for Pearl Milk Teas!Delicious tea, coffee, and friendly staff!The prices are very reasonable for even the higher grade [and therefore more expensive] teas and herbal blends.Cupcakes are great too!

This is a cute cafe, with a wide range of different kind of drinks. The ambiance is nice, and the pastries are very good. My favorite are the cream puffs, the only potential improvement on those would be to have cream puffs topped with chocolate as another option. The coffee is great quality, and thats not something you can say about some of the dedicated coffee shops, where the coffee can taste acrid and sour, here the coffee is perfect in my opinion. The teas are great as well. The prices are steep but are in line with the area, and its perfect for a treat.

Order coffee on there once, get spammed by daily emails for life. I had to use the QR code to order a coffee which they assumed meant I wanted to subscribe for life to their useless emails.Do not recommend.

My husband and I went to Jiaren Cafe for a date night to do their latte class. It was just the two of us and the lovely cafe owner as our teacher. She was super friendly, patient and fun! We both left feeling like we had learned a fun new skill and got a delicious drink to take home (I got the iced dirty matcha and it was soo yummy). This class is great for all skill levels - I work as a barista and my husband has no latte art experience - there is something for everyone to learn and practice. 10/10 fun date night!

I love this boba shop so much! I always order online and then drive to pick up my drinks, so convenient! The staff is absolutely wonderful and they have very safe covid protocols too! I love their red velvet charcoal milk tea with boba. Definitely better places out there. Drinks size were smaller vs other places and did not taste very good. Had the matcha latte, mocha, and peach sparkling drink. The peach sparkling drink was the better of the three. The matcha latte was too watered down which made it kind of gross tasting. The mocha was more like hot chocolate. So many other places I will not be coming back.

Been coming here since they opened and a big fan of the quality of drinks. Good variety and the employees are awesome. Would recommend.

This is a really cute cafe I love this place. The lady staff was very kind. Today I ordered the charcoal matcha latte and a custard pastry. Im impressed with both! The matcha is slightly bitter and has a unique earthy taste to it. I ordered that in regular sweetness, what the staff recommended, and it was in perfect balance 👌🏻

This spot is hidden behind the main road and it’s main entrance is in the back parking lot. We had to order the drinks outside, the lady who helped us was really beneficial. I got the Matcha Hojicha Latte and my friend got the Matcha Charcoal Latte. Both were super good, and I see myself coming back in the future!

Today was my second time getting a drink from Jiaren Cafe. Both were so good. I’m not a coffee person, but I love their sparkling refreshers. Last week I had Yuzu and today I tried pomegranate. I’m going to try a new flavor each week until I try them all and then I’ll pick a favorite.

Cozy place with great coffee. You can take yoga next door and then lounge here enjoy tea/coffee.

This is a MUST visit, the matcha is top quality and they use good ingredients like oatly and agave syrup. My wife got a strawberry eggnog matcha and couldn’t stop raving about it.

Wonderful and highly recommended! The owners are friendly and really know what they are doing. I tried something new to me at the owners recommendation and it was delicious! The atmosphere here is welcoming and relaxing. Its within walking distance of SCU but its easily accessible by car with plenty of parking too.I love tea and find that a lot of places do great coffee but only OK tea. That is not the case here! Both coffee and tea drinkers will be happy here. Jiaren Cafe made one of the best hot tea drinks I have ever had anywhere!

The Hojicha & Macha latte is awesome! I enjoyed the layered texture and the taste of the mixture of matcha and coffee is smooth and rich. We also tried passion fruit tea. Not sure if there is also lemon in it. Definitely a must-have drink for summer!

I have been going to school near Jiaren for 4 years, and in that time, it has been my go to place for coffee, teas, and more. Many places have come and go during my time at school, but Jiaren is the only Café nearby that has thrived. A must visit, they even have Latte art classes!

The dirty hojicha latte had three layers (tea, milk, and then espresso on top) which I liked. Unfortunately even after mixing it up, and although I got it less sweet, it was too sweet 😔 The madeleine that I got on the side had a great texture. Love the variety of drinks here but I guess I will need to get mine unsweetened next time

Pretty chill high energy cafe. No indoor seating available, Outdoor seating is available. The coffee was a little bland/old the first time i went. I went back and it was a lot better the second time around. The pastries were delicious too.

Good milk tea spot with bobas sweetened with brown sugar (not honey boba finally). I dont know when the trend of honey boba started but it ruins the tea flavor in my opinion. We got their dark roasted oolong milk tea and hojicha milk tea (less ice and less sweet).If you like less sweet milk tea, you can even go with unsweeten since the boba has a nice brown sugar sweetness to it (which is what Ill do next time). Their hojicha milk tea uses ground tea powder (similar to matcha) which brings a slight grainy texture than regular milk tea. It packs a big punch of tea flavor. Their dark roasted oolong is very smooth and balanced. you can also pick alternate milk choices. You can order from their website for pick up or delivery.

I took a latte art class with Jaden, and the experience felt magical. Jaden is both very good at pouring latte art and also a very good teacher - she goes over all the important techniques during demo, carefully observes my pour, and gives very good tips on how to improve. I was finally able to pour a heart-shaped pattern for the first time (!) at home after taking this in-person class, after a dozen failed attempt at home with various YouTube tutorials.Besides the class aspect, Jaden is very patient and full of energy, which made the class very welcoming and non-intimidating for a beginner like me.Highly recommend!

Its hard to get good espresso in the bay area - most places roast their coffee too dark in my opinion. Jiaren cafe has high quality, flavorful drinks, and pairs them with similarly high quality pastries.

Very friendly staff, good espresso drinks with proper coffee flavor and firm froth, a lot of interesting tea drinks. Unfortunately, these days they dont have any space to sit and drink your tea/coffee, it would be nice if they had a few tables outside as at the moment theres only a small bench facing a driveway and parking lot. Nevertheless, I like this place and go there nearly every day for a cup of nice coffee or tea with some pastry!

Its a nice cafe and the service is quite good too. Use Ritual beans only as I understand. Good coffee and milk tea options. It was my first time here. I felt their preparation is a little inconsistent or could just be due to just two different baristas. Ordered two Cappuccinos within 5 mins of each other and one was good the other not. So taking a star off as the first cup was definitely great - will update once Ive had a chance to try them again.

I got a boba milk tea with some almond milk, and I was honestly shook. Not too much ice, perfect amount of sweetness, boba and milk. The ratio was on point. 11/10 recommend.

This is my first time being here at the Jiaren cafe. The cafe itself was super cute and is organized. They are super friendly and have a variety of options. I got their Jiaren Signature Fruit Tea, Hojicha & Matcha Tea Latte, and Charcoal Matcha Latte. All of them were good and are the popular items of the cafe. Their drink is not too sweet and was super fresh. Their cup is very simple just like their drink. I recommend the Jiaren fruit tea since I am such a tea lover. They have several matcha drinks to choose from which is great for those who love matcha. The cafe is located near Santa Clara University and has super convenient parking.

I like their pastries. I know how to make a lot pastries deserts, breads. I often make pastries, breads, or deserts for family or friends. I personally don’t like the cookies so I did not pick cookies so no comment on cookies. Chocolate Croissants, custard croissants, regular croissants are the best. They are even better than some bakery shop! If you love pastries then definitely do not miss any chance to try their pastries. Love their pastries!

Came across this coffee/tea/yoga spot last week when i was driving by, large photo on the window.went to backside entrance expect it was a new coffee shop and found out they have many choices of snacks and also milk tea and fruit tea.decided to get a milk tea and passion fruit tea 24ozprice was fair and it was very tasty on both drink!milk tea was well balanced, creamy but not too creamy and the tea is strong just the way i like it, got normal street.passionfruit tea was very refreshing, no syrup only the fresh stuff, stay healthy, i also got normal sweet for this one.will most definitely come back to try their other drinks!by the way, their service was also great.
