Pretty cool store, its like a mini restaurant supply. Good deals on bulk items and lots of good looking produce.

One power of a retail store. They have really done well with sticking to basics. They have a very good team running the stores. Good priced goods. They just get the job done. One has to give it to them. The parent company does 50 to 60 billion dollars sales a year an it shows.

The selection of items at Smart and Final is limited, and when you shop there its best to be selective. They have their own brand for essential items called First street. There are some good deals for basics like 25lbs flour that we bought. They stock Jumbo eggs that are huge. Milk and butter are reasonably priced. Herbs too. Its the kind of store for once in a while shopping but doesnt replace a regular grocery store.

This is a great place to shop with great prices Especially their sale items! Produce is fresh, store is well stocked and employees are friendly and knowledgeable!

Go to the superstores. Much superior to the regular stores. Much better selection of product and much less crowded aisles.

Regarding the produce department .... Ive shopped in third world countries that were better than this. Hmmmm...

Food is pretty pricey I only shop there when I need a few items. Clerks are nice and friendly..

Smart and final is great for the random stuff you need to quasi cater an event. They have a good selection of foods as well. Need a giant piece of meat? Smart and Final is your place.

I like that this place is close. Parking is good, but can busy with all the other businesses around. Staff is friendly and always willing to help check the back for items. Some items are cheaper than other places and check their weekly flyer for even more savings. The new checkout process is nice with marked spots to stand, a big display to tell what line to goto and safe protection when checking out.

This store is a mini Costco!You will get variety of items for competitive price. Buying in Costco is definitely cheaper, but on downside you need to buy more quantity. This store gives you flexibility to choose lesser quantity with little higher price.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Found everything I needed and the line moved quickly with all hands assisting.

I expected more people in line but wasnt bad and lines moved fair. We got last minute items for baking and Holiday essentials for 🎄 Christmas.

Found almost everything I was looking for. The sale price on everything I purchased was great. The store was crowded but the checkout lines went fast. Great price for the Spare Ribs.

Great grocery and delicious food at reasonable price

Can find a variety of things in this grocery store. Prices of many items seem to be lower. One problem is the aisles are narrow and doesnt allow free movement, if its crowded. Parking is a problem during busy hours.

I like shopping at Smart and Final,I can get really great deals on Jasmine rice,bulk beans,chicken,pork and beef meats,cheese and plain yogurt, vegetables too.

Very helpful staff (got price for item not marked & got items on sale brought out to me that would not be put out until afternoon when new supply was delivered), fairly quick checkout.

I couldnt find Talenti Gelato that was advertised, but I got impressed by the new cashier system they implemented due Covid-19, an automatic voice call the customers to the next available cashier number. Very good.

Packaged and can goods are ok. Good bulk quantity offerings.Fresh foods do not turn fast enough. Products often past their prime. Watch expiration dates. No membership requirement.

Very low prices compared to local grocery stores: the only weakness is, this store is a little small, physically, so sometimes, depending on when you shop, theres crowding in the aisles - but its a minor nuisance compared to the Great Deals offered. I highly recommend it, and theres a greater variety of fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry, cereal and canned goods, and other grocery items than you would think, almost all that fantastic prices.

Today I had terrible service. When it was my turn to pay the cashier started screaming at my husband just because we had 12 thing and we were in the 10 things line and I honestly don’t think that’s how you should treat a client the cashier could’ve just explain kindly but instead he screamed I understand we made a small mistake in going to that line knowing we had 12 things

Smart & Final corporate has orphaned this store, neglected. they have no space to even bag ur items. Its a very popular local store the owners need to spend a dime and take care of their clients and business

A friend of mine recommended Smart & Final for having garlic stuffed olives I went to this one in Santa Clara as two different employees there when was it a supervisor assumed and neither one of them said They carried it I know you sure I go a friend said They carried it so I wandered around the store for 10 minutes and, they had three different brands of garlic stuffed olives not good!!!

I came in to get the milk Horizon Naturals and they didnt even have all the ones they wanted then I went to get the cottage cheese and that was Berkeley Farms the 4% one didnt even have any of the ones that they had in stock or all expired today and also on the second day expired and when I asked to get me the new ones they said they dont have time to get to it yet

If you need a couple of things real quick, this is a great place to lose 40 minutes of your life standing in a line (I was only 3 people back when I arrived at the line). Seriously, dont go here if youre in a hurry.

Parking is little tricky but the visit is always fruitful. Almost every brand and every size.

Produce is dripping wet, but otherwise this is a good predictable foor store with some very good deals.

Small and very limited selection (especially the Alcohol) . It also doesnt help that the store is located in the middle of a strip mall with tiny parking spaces. I suppose if you needed something common or in a pinch that the store would suffice although there is a Target across the street

Customer service is very poor. I just waited in line for 25 minutes in the 10 items or less lane while they processed a customer with government assistance. The customer had at least 30 items. This isnt the first time Ive waited in line for an inordinate amount of time. They have plenty of worker, Not enough checkers. Waiting in line for 25 minutes for 6 items is painful.

First, i dont mean to give even one star. Awful! Honesty in pricing is out the door. Tried to buy two boxes of cereal at the sale price. Register said got to buy four to get sale price. Talked to manager, said same. Finally I asked to cancel everything. Thats when the apology came too late. Is this for real. I went to review the sign three times to make sure I wasnt missing anything. I mean I know I dont have a college degree but come on. Manager finally walked me to the sign and she saw it was buy two for the sale price. No apology until after I asked for my money. Both made it so uncomfortable. Sucks because my son loves Apple Jacks. OMG! Simple, if smart and final wont honor their pricing and ads, Ill just honor some other market.

Price is right but they always have only one checker till the line gets too long. Then one will finally be called. Shouldnt be so aggrivating.

I needed dry ice and they had some. Their prices are usually low, so it was a good place to get it.

Weekly great deals, including fruits and veggies; be ready that some merchandise comes in bulk (as the store sells to small businesses and general public) - buy and freeze/store, buy to share with a friend etc. Always lines to the registers and old crackling PA system.

Almost like a mini Costco with a lot of large volume items. A pretty popular place. There are generally things out of stock and the checkout line (there are 2) can be long. Produce quality can be hit or miss. Prices can sometimes be cheaper though.
