Extremely knowledgeable and makes owning a spa easy..... service after the sale, too!!

Great customer service!! They were very knowledgeable and helpful when we went in yesterday. Love that they are animal people and allowed us to have our fur baby with us as we shopped for our new spa. Highly recommend seeing Chet & his staff for all your hot tub needs. Cant wait for our new spa!!

Went in to look at spas. They were very nice and helpful. However, they said they were completely sold out of all hot tubs for at least 35 weeks and the one we wanted for 52 weeks. They suggested we order now. They said that it would be the same for all other spa stores. But that’s just not true. The exact model we wanted was available at another Bay Area store. I asked the other store if we had just gotten lucky and they said they always have stock and get new stock. I feel that they might be purposefully misleading folks into waiting so they get extra sales. Or are at least woefully misinformed. I’m sad that there are likely people who will miss the entire season due to this misinformation and I’m glad we shopped around. If the owner reads this I ask that you tell future customers that other retailers do have stock and good luck sorting our your inventory shortage.Edit:Thank you for the response. I already have the tub. You told me in store in no uncertain terms that you didnt have a single hot tub to sell me for at least 35 weeks and that I would get the same story from other sellers. Your last point doesnt make sense. You wanted me to order from you instead of going somewhere else. I believe that YOU dont have any to sell at this time. I also know for a fact others DO.

This place is how a business should be run. An extremely knowledgeable owner who gives no pressure to buy something the moment you enter. Chet went WAY above and beyond for me, by pushing through the financing and then arranging for a crane to be at the install site to lifer the tub over the house. He also contacted an electrician local to me and coordinated the schedules. When the tub was going to be delivered a day late, he did all of the rearramgin with the crane company and the electrician. To this day he remembers my name when Inwalk in and knows the model tub I bought. Great service.

When our old hot tub supply store in San Jose closed, we searched for a replacement. After calling a few stores we felt confident in the knowledge and customer service provided by the Hot Tub Wherehouse staff, so we went in for a visit. They have a huge selection of spas and hot tubs in a range of budgets and really appreciated the time the salesman took with us when we were simply picking up some maintenance equipment and chemicals. Very thorough and gave us some great tips to make maintaining our spa so much easier.Definitely going back!

A+ sales experience. I went into the showroom twice and Chet didnt try to sell me anything either time. He simply asked what we were looking for, answered our questions, and then let us look around the showroom at the floor models. Thats it. No upselling, no hard selling, no gimmicks. I went in expecting all of those unpleasant salesperson tactics and was very pleased to not find them at Hot Tub Wherehouse.

UPDATE: Chet continues with amazing service and even called me to remind me I was due for my first filter cleaning and walked me through all the steps so I wouldnt even have to dig out the cheatsheet he made me.Original Review:Simply put 5+ stars. Chets knowledge of hot tubs and installation is superior and he puts customers first.I went into Hot Tub Wherehouse not knowing the first thing about hot tubs. Chet was already working with another customer, took any downtime from his buying customer to answer all my newbie questions with the utmost patience and professionalism. He instantly recognized my construction and safety related questions, provided alternate suggestions, and walked me through details I needed to install and he even offered to talk directly to my contractor.He called to schedule a delivery, confirmed delivery the day of, and then followed up to ensure everything went EXACTLY as discussed. He initiated all of the conversations and never once did I feel I didnt know what was happening with the shipment and delivery.When my electrician screwed up the install, Chet worked quickly to resolve the problem with the manufacturer and in the cheapest manner possible. He personally tended to the issue the day after the part arrived.Chet is someone who backs his product and is constantly a step ahead of his customers needs. I wish all of my major purchases could be this wonderful!

We knew we wanted a hot tub but didnt know the first thing about owning and caring for one. We made the decision to purchase from Hot Tub Wherehouse because Chet was extremely knowledgable and was patient in answering all of our questions.Chet has been extremely helpful since day one. We can enjoy our hot tub more knowing that if we had any questions or concerns, he will be available to help. His customer service is truly exceptional.

Visited the store to purchase chemicals for our new hot tub. The proprietor was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I have never owned a pool or spa so when I decided to get a Hot Tub I was LOST. I visited the Spa Store in Cupertino on De Anza  but the sales person was very arrogant and full of himself. I felt like I was being talked down to. At the next two places I looked all I got was HIgh Pressure sales tactics, no helpful information and just a pushy transaction that turned me off. Then one day when traveling Highway 101 and saw a sign for the Hot Tub Wherehouse right on the frontage road in Santa Clara. I exited the freeway and easily found the store. I was greeted by two large, friendly playful dogs and a helpful sales person that introduced himself as Chet. The sales person invited me to look around and to ask questions as they came up. This was a very nice change from my last hot tub shipping experiences.I ended up learning a ton that day about what I really needed and what was and was NOT important. Chet to over an hour showing me the different spas he had on the showroom floor. He had more spas to choose from than any other spa store I had visited. The day I visited there were over 25 spas of all shapes, sizes and price levels from $2995 and up What a great selection. Chet then took me out into the warehouse and showed me his 3 SWIM SPA display models. Unbelievable care and empathy was taken of me.Chet patiently asked about my family, my back yard and we even looked at the property together on one of the many Ipad screens he has set up to show products and answer questions. Very helpful, very non-threatening - even enjoyable if shopping can be fun, this was fun! I felt relaxed, not rushed and was EDUCATED not sold anything. When I had all of the information I needed I made the decision in my own time and with Chets help I got a GREAT HOT TUB! The Martinique Caldera is a perfect fit for our needs! Thanks ChetWhen I left the store that day - Chet made sure I had all of my questions answered. I knew about upcoming factory sales event, and he would send a electrician and concrete person out to give me free quotes  and coordinated the entire process. This is truly a one stop, spa shop . I ended up taking advantage of a great sales price without pressure and I was able to WET TEST the spa I eventually put in my back yard. The selection and knowledge in this place is AWESOMEI cannot recommend Chet and The nice folks I met from the delivery staff and all contacts with The Hot Tub Wherehouse enough and have been a 5 star service.
