A well stocked grocery store, especially for Indian spices & vegetables. Reasonable price in US standard 5 times of Indian price !

This is the best Indian grocery store in the history of all Indian grocery stores

The reason I gave it one star because they sell verge to expire products. Things which are cheaper are expiring in next 10-15 days. I bought a pack of peanuts but when I eat that it taste like something bad and no best before date on the pack, I even bought bourvita which will be expiring in mid November. Which is impossible to consume in a very short time. But the store have lot of Indian stuff selling at a very high price so I like that.

Horrible customer service.I asked two different people for a product I was looking for, they both replied I dont know and went about their work.No effort was made into looking for it. Furthermore, at the register, as they were ringing up my purchase, I saw a price discrepancy, the price tag on the bag said $9.99 but it rang up as $14.99 so I showed that to the cashier. They just pulled the sticker off and said the register shows the correct t price. I was in such shock to see such behavior.I personally do not recommend this store.

Parking is comparatively smaller but works....very easy to get there.....you can get everything an Indian needs there

This is one my favorite Indian stores to visit in proximity of San Jose and Santa Clara. Its got sufficient parking space, which could prove insufficient on weekend evenings but theres a good flow of people so youll get a spot after a short wait. A very good inventory of products, including snacks, veggies, fruits, frozen food. They also have some cooked food, snacks (samosa, etc) and sweets!

The New India Bazar has become more specious more than what was in early 2002, when I used visit to buy groceries. Now it has better look, clean n easy to get what you way. They have added more Indiana stuff then before. I enjoyed shopping there.

Wow, no price tags on any item, price based on employees mood, throws your stuff whilst scanning only to crush the delicate stuff. Need to get their @h$# together &train their employees to treat the customers with respect

First time there, very nice. I was joking with the people working there, this place is like a mini Costco of Indian stores. Was not sure if they all speak english, but i got what i wanted. Very clean store - modern grocery store layout. Some warm food ready to eat or take out. Prices very reasonable, very large selection.

So whenever i verify the bill i see duplicate items added to the bill. This is happening consistently. Today the cashier added duplicate Cauliflower, i noticed that and asked to remove that. She re-checked all the stuff and removed the duplicate. I came home and checked the bill, found that she added duplicate broccoli. This is not the first time, i see this each time i verify the bill.

Never miss India since one can get almost every kind of Indian grocery stuff here! N to top all that they have now alcohol sales licence too (beer/wine) so one could buy some desi beer too!

I went there to buy Sabzi from their Kitchen. They charged around $14(incl. tax) for the paneer sabzi and the uncle who was on the counter filling it up was so reluctant to fill the box ? He literally poured just the curry and barely 5 small paneer pieces and all those to just fill up to 3/4th of the box. I specifically told him to put some pieces, he added one more and gave me a weird look. I mean come on, if you are charging that much amount for just the sabzi you should at least have the customer walk out satisfied. I heard similar story from a friend, now truly get it when I experienced this myself.

Nice place to get your indian groceries. Look out for weekly promotions on snacks.Do try out their yummy samosas and veg puff.

Three star for the store and zero for the cashier. Talk very rudely, very unprofessional (specially the oldest lady on the counter) She is spoiling the reputation of this super market (not sure about the others stuff). I visited this place for thr first time and never going to visit it again. NIB, don’t worry we have lots of other options in bay area. Management should take special action against those stuff.But, the stuff in the deli is really cool, very helpful and swift.

You get almost every single Indian grocery item here.Feels like India but with supreme quality.From incense sticks to medimix soaps, from frozen chapathis to pani puri masalas, everything is available.All the staff speak Punjabi, you feel like being in India, literally.All the veggies and fruits are farm fresh. Very well managed Indian store with a hot food counter. Good part is that this place has a lot of variety, in terms of package size and variation in different brands for the same product. They have utensils from India and also a lot of items for religious rituals. They have a very wide collection of Indian snacks, biscuits, nankeen and pickles.

Finding parking spot is pretty challenging its easy accessible from El Camino. Cheap and affordable price, but while buying certain products just verify the expired date. Apart from this, New India Bazar pretty good.

The owner was huffing and buffing. He was walking so fast in the store, like something is on fire.

This Indian grocery store stocks almost all essential grocery items, fresh fruits and vegetables. Rates are reasonable and quality is good.Especially better than some other stores during Covid-19 as aisles are far apart and its possible to keep 6-feet distance.

Did not have some of basic indian grocery store stuff, not all the staff members are very helpful. But the place is clean and location is convenient

They recently expanded the store and now carry a large variety of Indian groceries, vegetables, frozen snacks and also have vegetarian kitchen that offer Currys and Indian breads for take away. Price wise, the grocery here is cheaper as compared to other Indian grocery chains. Added perk: they serve free tea to customers :)

Amongst the numerous Indian grocery stores on El Camino Real, I would rate this place in top 2. The produce and grocery items are diverse and neatly organized. Relatively spacious to follow COVID-19 social distancing protocols. Good quality products and decent parking available. Usually busy on weekends!

We were in the line at 9-50 for 2 things just maggie n dairy milk billing n they said they can’t bill us out, when we came out they were still billing other people in the line….worst customer representative n shows attitude n rude with us. Store closes at 10 pm n they let us out at 9-55 without billing on 08/07/21

Be sure to CHECK YOUR BILL before you leave the store. Cashiers add extra items knowingly. It happened for third time in the same month and they act like it was a mistake. Same mistake cannot happen three times in one month.

You get a ton of indian products here. Store is a bit smaller than conventional superstores. But if you are looking for indian snacks,rice,lentils and instant food this the place to go.

A lot of Indian stuff available..from kabasura kudineer to Indian herbal teas/coffees to varieties of Indian cookware to krackjack biscuits to drumsticks,. Vazhakai, arvi to isabgol to... freshly made rajma, kadhi...to puja things.. to ..

You almost get the indian store vibes like big bazaar, mart just as you enter the store. Pretty much everything and daily products from India that you miss in the US, you get it here. Dont miss to grab samosas for cheap bucks at the end.

Ive been a regular here for about 2 years now. I loved the spacious place, great collection of Indian grocery items.I am sad to finally give up on this place. Here are the problems,1. Billing mistakes, almost always my bill would have an item either billed twice or more than the written price.2. Veggies are hit and miss. Some times I get really sub par veggies.3. Rude billing staff.4. A lot of times, items I need wouldnt have prices on them.Ive been ignoring most of it because the place is close to my house and my wife loves their samosas.But after today, I dont think we are ever coming back.

Shop is great in terms of items and cooked food, but some cashiers dont wear the mask properly, nose is uncovered. Also, the PARKING space sucks big time, its so small. Recently someone dented my car while parked and went away without leaving any information. Really cheap behavior.

Terrible experience. Bought a packet of sweet and found already having fungal on it . I called them and requested to cancel the transaction for that purchase but they refused and asked me again to take the box of rotten sweet there. wasting my time.

The best Indian grocery chain in the bay area compares to Patel, and other chains. Its also the biggest in size I guess. It NIB has other branches in bay area too.

They Promised to Have Besan Breads (Crispy Brand) next day.But its over two weeks now they dont have it and dont have a clear answer for that.

I have been shopping here for five years. You will always find fresh quality fruits and vegetables at a great price. Great customer service.

Except for the staff in the checkout counters, the shop is one fantastic place to get all the Indian stuff. While there are a lot of varieties in the rice, there is not much variety in brands that sell dal, theres a very good chance the store owns sell their own dal under the brand name veer.The aisles are well spaced out. Quite a few products like dosa batter are extremely expensive. On the whole the shop has almost all the Indian item one would hope to buy.

Their prices are affordable. The store was clean and organized. The only thing that I did not like is you wait a long time in line to check out.

Excellent staff, very fast cash counter improving with every day passing. Very disrespectful Mexican staff, I was about to put him in his place but it was so busy didnt want to disturb the flow but next time itll not ignore.Great shelving, everything organized & clean. Note: parking lot needs to repaint & minimum 1 or 2 people should be helping customers to park & help them to get out of the lot just on peak hours. Over all Ill give 7/10. This turned out to be the best Indian grocery store in Bay area. Really well organized and stocked. All lanes were near and clean. Huge refrigerated and freezer section. Good prices. I am impressed.

We called these guys twice in 10 minutes gap to confirm if they have Haldiram kaju katli. They lied shamelessly. We arrived and they did not have it and tried to sell their own inferior brand.Let me tell you, before I came we called 5 other indian stores who were professional enough to say they dont carry the particular brand.So this store sucks big time in honesty

It is understandable its festival period and people need to shop for various items. However, it was impossible to maintain the physical distance with no crowd control measure this evening and not to mention the parking lot chaos. I hope management looks into it.

New India Bazar is our favorite Indian Store now. its pretty big and clean. you find almost all Indian items. vegetable section is not that big and not that great but good enough. frozen section is quite big and lots of brands. good enough parking space. you also get loyalty points but the program is recently stopped in covid. overall a good Indian store with good collection and staff.

Recent incident:During Diwali time, they charged me 812 dollars for 12 dollars grocery. I thought it happened by mistake and they would help in taking back this transaction.but I was wrong. I kept trying to contact to contact manager by visiting and calling store but they try to avoid me as much as they could. Finally when I met the store manager, his reply and reaction to this, made me realize that this was not by accident. Disregard to his rude and ignorant behavior, he was trying to make me feel sorry for contacting bank regarding this fraud transaction. I still havent got my money back and looking for help.PS. On my billing receipt it says 12 dollars, so dont trust the receipt and keep checking your bank account if you happen to go there.Summer case:I used to go this place often. But today I got mango juice from there( they put it on sale too) and it was so bad. In hurry, I forgot to see the manufacturing date and now I realise that they put it on sale because it was one year old. I didnt think any grocery store could sell this old item but they did. This is awful experience.

I took their TOGO small cup of 3.99$. Sufficient Quantity. I really liked the paneer tikka masala. The Dal makhani didnt have sufficient amount of spices and I felt it was bland
