My husband and I had a pleasant experience with the manager Ashley. She was very honest, polite and patient with us. We tried many beds and she was very knowledgeable and didn’t pressure us to make a sale. We ordered a bed frame and are waiting for our mattress to come in. Would definitely recommend.

Just bought a new mattress and cover from the store, and Im still waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Ive also bought something from the store a couple months back, and was very pleased with my service then and because of that decided to buy this new mattress from the store now. Im very impressed by how kind the people who work there are! Most recently I bought the mattress with Ivan, he was extremely kind and present. He made the experience of buying a mattress actually fun and exciting!

Bought a Simmons Beauty Rest Pressure Smart Firm with the adjustable frame. Outstanding mattress and bed. I highly recommend it.

Customer service person Alexis Rincón was super helpful and friendly! We came in with a grumpy 12 year old boy who is not sleeping well. Alexis helped us find a good mattress, box spring and frame. He also recommended a mattress cover that was cooling. All in all it was a very easy trip to the mattress store. Give Alexis a raise! He’s a stellar employee!

Terrible experience!! Cancelled an order, placed on 7/3, they had charged our account and still have not received a credit. Getting the run around after many calls to them.

I was able to get exactly what I want ed in about 20 minutes for less than I thought I would and was delivered in less than Two daysNo problem setting up the Base 👍

I asked for an accommodation outside of the normal delivery schedule as my son is moving back to school this weekend. The representative found a suitable mattress and arranged for us to receive it on short notice,, with diligence and professionalism.

4/26 UPDATE: Once again the mattress they promised is unavailable. Now they are saying that yet another (the 3rd) mattress has been ordered and will be shipped in 7-10 days. That means I wont get the mattress until it has been 2 full months since they took my money. The thing is, I probably wont get that one either because the manufacturer says it is out of stock. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. Removing a star.UPDATE: Mattress Firm offered me a comparable mattress and said it will be delivered this coming week. I wish they had offered this a month ago when they first realized the mattress I ordered and PAYED for would be delayed at least a month. Bumping the rating from a 1 star to a 3 for now... If everything goes well I may add a star or two.I ordered a mattress and adjustable base online over a month ago, they almost immediately charged my card but later said my order was cancelled due to inventory limitations. A day or two later they changed their story and said it would be delayed til late April. My order still says it will be 2-3 weeks before its shipped. Even 2 weeks is past April. They have had my money for over a month and have failed to provide the items paid for. Beginning to think I am going to have to file complaints with the department of weights and measures as well as other consumer protection agencies. I would not recommend Mattress Firm to anyone. Its odd, they keep sending me emails asking for me to rate my experience, well it has been horrible. What is also strange is that the products I ordered, that are supposedly not available, have never been removed from the site or listed as sold out or backordered. Very poor business practices and extremely shady.

Staff were friendly and able to answer my questions. I was disappointed that the mattress that was listed on sale on the website was not available on the shop floor to try. Utimately I did purchase the on-sale mattress. There is a 120-day trial period, though restocking and pickup charges apply.

Ivan at the Santa Cruz location was awesome. He was so helpful, took his time and there was no pressure to go over our budget. Couldnt have asked for a better salesman. Thank you Ivan!

Julio was the sales associate who helped me and he was very thorough.The COVID procedures were followed - wearing masks and signs on the mattresses indicating they had been sanitized.Highly recommend!

Went it for a bed for my grandson. Had the best experience buying a mattress. Isaac the manager helped me out with an amazing process, not pushy at all. Asked questions to find out exactly what we needed for my grandson. Even convinced me to get a bed for my wife & I, set me up with an amazing bundle & an adjustable base. The service was ok. The selection was not. Its like theyre going out of business. Also WHY would they give you an in-store specific credit card if you cant just use it to go into their stores and buy bedding accessories like mattress covers or pillows without the items having to be financed?? That doesnt make any sense to me.

Needed a new mattress and wanted to shop local. I was looking for a deal on the Black Friday weekend and stepped into the Santa Cruz Mattress Firm store. The service was over the top! The manager Isaac was friendly and even accommodated me changing my order. He was also able to get me next day delivery.The sale was what I went in for but the service is what closed the deal.

Normally when I blow into a store close to closing the feeling is hurry up and get out, no concern for your shopping needs. Kelsey was working, she was attentive and listened carefully to what i needed, she did NOT get an attitude when I told her that I wanted to spend as little as possible. She did go out of her way to help me find the best deal for my needs. When it turned out that a deal I found online was the best one, she recommended that.Who knew mattress shopping could be confusing and stressful!? We love this store. We originally went here when it was sleep train for a mattress topper over a year ago and had a great experience. Today we went in for a full set (mattress, box spring & frame). The salesman was awesome (wish I would’ve caught his name!). He could tell my boyfriend and I were young college budget shoppers. Right off the bat he had us figure out what firmness we liked and then asked us our budget. Instead of trying to sell us something over our budget as most salespeople would do, he led us to the “value” section. He had us try a handful of mattresses within budget and we narrowed it down from there. We ended up buying a super comfy floor model that was on sale (super good deal!!!). He packed the mattress and box spring in plastic so we could drive it home AND he helped us get it out of the store onto the car. Never once did we feel pressured to buy something more than we wanted, he helped us find something to fit our comfort for our budget. We will be back! I seriously feel bad for not remembering our sales guys’ name....10/10 for price, 10/10 for service, 10/10 will recommend to other people. All around great experience. Thanks guys!!

My partner & I shopped for a bed on Memorial Day & Drew was our salesperson. He was friendly, helpful, & easy to work with. He didnt try to pressure sell anything & helped us find the bed that met both of our needs. We got a nice holiday discount, an additional manager approved discount on top of that, & next day delivery. The delivery guys were prompt, friendly, & professional as well. Were satisfied with our new super comfy bed.

I visited Sleep Train over the weekend because Id been having trouble sleeping in my current bed. The sales staff were very friendly, patient, and informative and helped me find a better bed for a fantastic deal! I would definitely do business with them again and highly recommend Sleep Train to anyone who is considering making a mattress purchase.

Almost had our business. The main guy there took over the sale and then it all went south. Wouldnt give me a price until I gave them our delivery address and was rude to my Fiancee. We got out of there and went to Mancinis Sleepworld in Capitola where we got a great deal. The sales person was top notch and well educated about the products and was able to answer our questions. Even the prices. lol

Lots of selection from mattresses to day beds. Prices seemed competitive and sales staff was knowledgable and friendly.

After researching the heck out of the different types of beds we decided on the Tempur-pedic brand. We only needed to decide on which firmness level. Knowing the prices are set on Tempur-pedic mattresses, we only wanted to know the differences between the models. Enter Bruce Brough, (Bruff)! He was the best salesman, of any kind, Ive ever had interactions with! No hard sell, very personable and great knowledge of all Sleep Train products. Thanks Bruce!
