I love this place and I made a great smelling candle!

This place is awesome! We were a group of 10 on a weekday morning which turned out great - the lovely owner had a second employee come in and help us with the process. And making candles is soooo fun! The colors! The scents! All the little shiny charms! And they pulled out some of the Christmas themed decorations which made it even more awesome! Thank you for the great experience, I will definitely come back :)

Five of us went to Glow in Santa Cruz last night. The others had been before but it was my first time. Maxwell was working and took the time to walk me step-by-step through how this works. It was so fun and the results were awesome! I love my candle, and I think a big part of that was because of the explanation of how it all worked by Maxwell. What a pleasant person! Thank you!

Make your own candles! If this interests you then consider Glow. Staff is extraordinarily helpful. The essential method is to choose a form and fill it with various pieces of colored wax. Staff completes the procedure by applying scent, hot paraffin to fill the voids and bond it together, and finally glitter. Candles are then refrigerated before removal from the mold. Your finished candles are available about 4 hours later.

Had a blast today making candles with my fiancée. She and I are novice candle makers and the staff was very helpful. We had gift cards but it is not to expensive as a special treat. Not something I could afford to do weekly. I will tell many people about my great experience.

We had a craft event at Glow this weekend with 7 adults. I was impressed by the staff that helped us and how thoughtful they were in making this a special time for the group. I dont typically write reviews but when a store does such a stand out job, I like to tell people about it. As a mature male, I enjoyed the experience I lot more than I thought I would! We were there for almost 3 hours. We had fun and I also have a cool candle. Great job Glow.

Tons of fun. Very helpful and friendly staff. There are several candle molds to choose from for the candle shape, and you can also pick out lots of shapes of cut wax pieces to add for free. There are also a variety of add-ons (seashells, carved beads, trinkets) for available for purchase.

Nice place for kids to bring out their creative side. :). Little ornaments can add up to quite a bit of dough, so use them sparingly.

Very pricey but so much fun! Totally worth the price for a special occasion (mothers day).
