Got a great wetsuit at a great price. Super welcoming environment. Great selection of wetsuits and boards. They had accessories too. Definitely the one and only surf shop that I will be going to for the rest of my life. Definitely best prices in Santa Cruz, I dont know why anybody would go anywhere else.

I came for help with a project that involved neoprene but had nothing to do with wetsuits. Diane was so very helpful and solved our problem and didnt want a dime for her help. I cant say enough kind things. I needed someone who could sew neoprene and she saved us. Thank you so very much.

I cant believe this was my first visit here. The shop is tiny but very cozy. Right when you walk in you know you are in a good place. Diane was helpful and patient. She helped me find the right wetsuit and at the right price. Thank you! They also sell unique candles and jewelry. I recommend this place to anybody looking to buy or fix a wetsuit.

Incredible wealth of knowledge, these folks will take care of you and point you in the right direction without the ulterior motive to take advantage of my amateur questions. I’m thoroughly pleased with the way in which they didn’t try to upsell or pressure to buy and gave very useful information instead. Because of this I decided to get all my accessories here (since I wasn’t quite ready to buy my board yet.) I highly recommend this shop!!!

Love this place. Wonderful people, good deals on wetsuits, great deals on used surf boards. My first stop for any surf stuff. Don and Diane are very nice and extremely helpful. And their wetsuit repair is without equal. Triathletes from all over the country send damaged wetsuits for Dianes expertise.

This is the best shop in Santa Cruz by far. My board was stolen out of my car and they loaned me a loaner board that ended up being a more permanent board. They also have fixed dozens of my wet suits and they have the cheapest wax as well. I would highly recommend ALWAYS spending your surf related money here.

Wish I could give Dianne a few more stars for her incredible service. One of the fine people at the Sports Basement referred me to Blown Out Wetsuits to see if they could repair an old suit that a friend let me borrow. Instead of trying to sell me on an expensive repair, Dianne confirmed the suit wasnt a good fit, then had one of her employees hunt through a bin of donated used suits and found one with a slightly damaged zipper that fit like a glove. I couldnt believe it when she said it was mine to keep. When I told her its no surprise she has so many five-star reviews, she joked its because the surfers are grateful because they need her to stay warm. So uplifting to find a business thriving like this.

A coworker highly recommended this surf shop and I was not let down. Its a small shop, but they pack a good selection of new and used wetsuits, along with used boards. I went in after taking a tumble on my skateboard down Laurel, and Diane was kind enough to let me use hydrogen peroxide to disinfect my wounds. They are out to save you money, and get you in the water.

Honest service that wont disappoint. When youre bringing in something damaged, a lot of places will try to convince you to buy something new or try to find a reason to up-sell you on stuff you dont need. Diane was straight to the point and gave a realistic timeline in how to repair a hole near a seam in my suit. She advised me that if it was too close to the seam then it might be a total loss. She left it up to me without trying to push me in one way or the other. Bottom line, she fixed it and the cost was tiny compared to getting a new suit. Love this place and will always go back.
