Last year they handled my fathers coin collection after his death and today I took most of my personal collection in to sell. In both cases, I felt they were very professional and fair in their dealings with me. One thing Ive always liked about coins (what made me want to collect them) is the story behind them. While Santa Fe Coins and Jewelry was appraising what Id brought in, they bantered with me about various pieces. It was just as fun as I remembered when I went to coin shops as a kid with my dad. We had a wonderful experience and found some fabulous jewelry at Shane & Andrews shop. I was looking through the display cases and saw an interesting bracelet. I am a man with big bones, and it is hard to find jewelry that will fit me properly without being too enormous. Well, Shane brought out the bracelet and it looked great on my arm, but was too loose. Shane told me the artist was going to be in the shop later, and would size it properly for me. This was a very special experience for me, as I got to meet the artist in person and he told me about the piece. He also sized it to fit me exactly.With Shane & Andrews help, my wife and her sister found some pieces of jewelry that were just what they had been looking for, and my brother-in-law found some rare bank notes to add to his collection. My husband is a currency dealer and we stopped by the shop while vacationing in Santa Fe with my sister and brother in law. What a wonderful find! The store is filled with interesting, fairly priced Native American jewelry and coins, as well as currency. The company has since rebranded as Santa Fe Coins, and it’s an amazing place. They give you personal attention, buying advice, coin and metal handling advice. I’ve been buying from them for a few months, and I consider their prices fair, and the quality of their goods reputable. There’s a large selection of pretty much everything, whether you’re starting to collect or looking for choice pieces. And bonus: Santa Fe’s best donut store is literally next door! Parking is never a problem, and I’m never waiting to speak to someone on their team.

I had an AWFUL experience. I took in some coins sentimental in Value ledt to me by my late grandfather had to sell them to fix my vechicle. I was ROBBED pretty much. The man @ this store took my coins and gave me pennies on the dolkar. I trusted that He did legit business. Howecer brought some of the same coins to Alb. And got 10× the amount for less . Precious Metals knew exactly tge value and that they could take advantage DO UR RESEARCH OR PREPARED TO BE ROBBED!
