What would I do without my local Costco Wholesale! I love checking out the website before I go to to Costco. What I don’t buy at my local store I know I can easily order my items online. Delivery is fast as well.

The gas station has much to be desired. Ive been there a total of 5 times with my card going on 2 years. I ended up getting gas once! The whole area was blocked off! No signs, no idea when or if it will be open again. The store is great. Just work on the gas station and it will be a win win!

Ok on weekdays around mid day but youre gonna need to pack a extra burrito for lunch on the weekends cause its gonna take a southern minute to get through the endless lines of people here. And dont plan on staying entertained by your phone cause it a black hole for signal inside this building.Other than that its a cool place to shop.

Great selections of snacks and specialty gifts. I find products at the clean Santa Maria Costco that SLO Costco doesnt carry.Clerks are so helpful and friendly. Parking lot is huge, there room for everyone.

Love this location. Nice and cool inside, very clean, but the fruit selection was not great but understandably. With so many stores with deals on produce plus events multiply during this time of year. You can expect your favorite things to sell out so arrive early for the good stuff. Overall my top fave Costco.

How can I say anything bad about Costco. They have everything, gas, food, glasses, tires, hearing, jewelry, clothing and pharmacy. Their return policy is great and the store is always clean. Big plus they are now handing out samples again. I was very surprised at how many people did not have masks on, since they are required in Santa Barbara County again.

Must manage lines better. Facility itself might be too small. On some days staff are a little reluctant to lend you a membership card when u forget yours

This is a good Costco, clean, well stocked, etc.Now lets get to what really matters - the food court.The Costco food court is (in my admittedly biased opinion as a man of generous habit and consequent girth) one of the great gifts of western civilization. Where else can one gorge oneself to repletion on comestibles like pizza, chicken bakes, hot dogs, and ice cream, for such an astonishingly low price?!Truly, the Costco food court is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

Bad experience at the service center, I purchased a grill that stopped working I wanted a return and to be able to exchange it. I had my friend with me he didn’t speak English so I was translating to him. At the end they told me no and the manager spoke to him in Spanish. I honestly think it is unbelievable that I was translating the whole time later to see that she spoke Spanish in the first place very disappointed on their service.

By far the fastest Costco and Costco gas Ive ever been to of my life. And on a Saturday morning of all things. A perfect stop on our road trip along the Central Coast.

Love my Costco very seldom do I get out of there spending just 100 bucks but I still love it

I love stocking up! Plus they always have neat little finds. Like the deluxe scrabble board we bought. Or the great books they have to choose from. Plus, they sell clothes, decent ones too. They accept foodstamps ppl!! ;) Get the membership that pays u back when u keep shopping there! :)

Cute place. Coconut latte my favorite, super delicious and their almond croissant fire, and lemon ricotta pancakes super yummy those are my favs so far. The food is good, but for the price it could be better. Bloody Marys were really good too!

Great employees!! I appreciate the green tags for organic items. Love the new gas station indicator lights for when an empty pump is ready for the next driver.

The gas attendants are rude and tell you to pull up. Then tell you parked then tell you that if some hit you as your fault. The store facility is clean and well stocked.

I love Costco, and I know pharmacy specifically is very busy and to the point, but Trish from the pharmacy here in Santa Maria could have been alot more respectful over our phone call.

Love shopping at Costco. The products they carry are really good quality. Just a couple things I was not fond of but theyre return policy remedied my slight displeasure. Been shopping at Costco for a while now and Im super pleased with the 99% of the products I have been buying. Now I shop Costco every week and buy very little at my regular grocery store. Costco is just a great place to shop.

This is a very nice Costco. Lots of selection and gas area has 3 terminals per line.

Bought 2 bedroom sets only to find out some of the pieces were damaged. I called the store and was directed to the manager Ron. He told me to bring the pieces back and they will exchange them. Thats exactly what we did and he himself even came out,cut the new boxes open to make sure the furniture was okay. He was very apologetic and told us many times to give him a call if anything else was wrong. The workers showed alot of respect towards Ron. Places need more mangers like him. We usually dont come to this costco because its always super busy and the customers are rude but knowing the manager is like this we may change our mind every once in a while. Thank you.

I was there this time to pick up my new glasses. Their prices are good. The workers were friendly & helpful. Ive never had a bad experience at any Costco.

You will get RAW CHICKEN when you buy from this Costco. Obviously someone doesnt follow proper cooking directions at their Deli. I wonder how many people get sick from eating food from this Costco?The SB Health Department should put in a visit to the Santa Maria Costco and see how things are cooked and kept. I wonder if the CEOs of Costco corporation would like to eat some raw chicken???

Newer Costco, clean and spacious. The 12 pump station/24 spots shortens the line a lot. The older Costco dated back to reading the item numbers(no barcode scsnning!!!). Almost 5 star... the parking lot is one the worst! Almost all foot traffic crosses stops vehicles entering after the stoplight.

Great store for its size and selection of items. It’s too bad some of cashier are rude to it’s customers. Just while waiting in the check out line you can see how some of the customer get treated.

The Costco in Santa Maria has everything and is quite large. With Santa Maria being a city over 100,000 people it can also get very busy. I have found it best to go on Sunday an hour before it closes or in the middle of the week before 3pm.Best place to buy pet food, TP, rotisserie chicken, cheese, onions, milk, and bananas.

Love this place and always leave with more then I need. The parking lot is a bit busy and difficult to navigate with the constant flow of people and cars coming and going.

Clean yet busy amid controlled chaos! Costco is like on their own island. But everyone walking around like they just ate last cookie in the jar! Customers and employees! I think the cookies were weed cookies cause everyone looked so damn happy, including that Cheshire cat. Quick in and out and for Costco, thats a plus. Even parking lot was looking good. Bummer. Nothing to complain about! But dont ever let the Mad Hatter get with that cat...

Always great! Though its more expensive total, youre getting everything in bulk so its cheaper over all. Also, its a great place to get a cheap lunch at the food court before grabbing some high quality gas at cheap prices!

I used to love shopping here,but not anymore. Everytime we go in its always something wrong. Plus, some employees are very rude and we’ve had so many problems with the membership that honestly I feel like it isn’t even worth it anymore.

I love Costco and their samples. I get to try samples before buy it and it is great! If I didnt tried the samples, I would have never buy new foods and I love discovering delicious things. They have really good fruit tart. My favorite one is from whole foods but for the price, I like Costco fruit tart better :)

I find Costco so frustrating due to their intentional lack if signage and the incoherent placement of items. It forces the customer to walk down more aisles than necessary - which, I understand, is their marketing approach. I avoid Costco as much as possible for this reason. Also not a fan because they do not stock several items that I use. Staff tonight were pleasant and helpful. Good job, staff!!

Although it’s always a challenge to deal with the many customers (many are considerate, many are not) the employees are always cheerful, knowledgeable, and working diligently. Thank you Costco.

Good place to buy bulk.

The store was busy but the staff rubs like a well oiled machine. We used self check and the only snag was trying to scan cases of water. Someone has to assist with a portable scanner. There were two employees assisting since they are new.

As a former employee of this Santa Maria Costco, it sure does not live up to its expectations. To preach about an atmosphere free from harassment or discrimination and not actually apply it in the workplace is hypocritical. The Open Door Policy within Costco #1275 is deceptive and truly pious. When I confronted Jim Blount, the general manager, to resolve issues about how I felt prejudicial treatment within the workplace, it was like talking to a brick wall. I was easily overlooked without proper attention necessary.A terrible manager can attain an excellent staff and destroy it, causing the best employees to flee and the remainder to lose motivation. People dont flee jobs just because. They escape bad bosses and poor management who dont appreciate their value.I realized how toxic of a work environment this was when I first handedly experienced bad communication, poor leadership, stifled growth, gossipy behavior, rapid employee turnover, and unmotivated coworkers.Bottom line, bad managers are bad for business, and theyre even worse for their employees. I hope Santa Maria Costco aims to improve its relations not only with customers but more importantly, with its employees. If the manager is pulling the strings, he cant blame his puppet for bad performance!

Key to shopping Costco is picking the proper time. I avoid crowds like the plague well, that is what this is. Easier cruising through the store and faster checkout when not crowded. They can eliminate the sample tasting stations, the congestion around them is a PITA. Great products. Would like an app with feature to locate products as the frequent relocation confuses the best of us.

Edit May 2019Costco went back to multiple lines in the food court. So dumb. The parking lot is still atrocious.Edit: Costco food court revised the line so it is one line distributed to all the cashiers. So much better and more fair to patrons than the several lines that uses to be there and we unlucky mortals playing roulette in hopes of not getting stuck in line 15 minutes for a hot dog. Other Costcos (San Luis Obispo) would do well to follow suit. Awesome improvement in service!The parking lot at the new location is still as poorly designed as the previous location. Flow studies need to be conducted and appropriate signage placed.

Checking out a few future quick dinner options for next time. I was shopping hungry and amazingly still came out under $100 today! Lots of Christmas items out for shoppers and decorators alike! Halloween still available.
