I’ve personally been to “different” vitamin and health stores which I won’t mention the name of, but needless to say didn’t have as pleasant of an experience. Lassens is a classic staple in Santa Maria and has been around as long as I can remember. The deli has amazing fresh and delicious food and the associates on the sales floor are so helpful and friendly, I always have a good experience here even if I’m not shopping for anything in particular because I know and feel assured if I have questions about anything the associates will be right around the corner ready to help me out which I value greatly. So if you’re looking for healthy DELICIOUS food or quality products with happier ingredients look no further, I promise you will not be disappointed :]

Twice in a row they gave me a burrito with the bacon raw!!! So gross!!! I wasted $10 on a burrito I couldn’t even eat!! I even asked them to make sure the bacon is cooked all the way and they continued to serve it to me like that

They did not have anything I needed, and when I order something, I never get a call back ever to pick up the things I ordered . Santa Maria needs a way better and bigger health food/Vitamins store. This Lessens is way to small. They dont even sell Bach Flowers, or Vitamin K2 which I need badly because I am a bleeder. They have very little shampoos, soaps, Their vitamin line is very low, I will never go back again!

This Health Food store has the most exquisite personal care and beauty products in town. They stock a wide variety of hair care, facial and beauty products for those who chose to care for their skin in a natural, clean way. The also have produce, snacks and are actually better stocked than most of the grocery stores in this town. If you are looking to stay away of chemicals and other additives in your food and beauty products, this is the place to shop. Fresh and healthy all in one place.

A great place for a choice of herbal remedies. Lots of food and snacks selection. Aromatherapy and infusers, and a fresh Deli for create your own sandwiches. This is where I shop for herbs, and skin products. The quality is very good. Oh they also sell some fresh food items as well as canned goods.

My favorite organic and vegan menu to eat in Santa Maria! And there is always a line at the deli! I love Lassens and they are always so friendly great customer service and all their vegetables are organic! You cant find that anywhere else around here! Trader Joes has many non-organic vegetables, yes Lassens is the only all organic vegetables! Love it here!

When the hippie wants vegetarian food, I go to Lassens. I like that they have different selections. It is a bit more in price but it makes up in the vegetarian selection. I also like their smoothies.

This is an outstanding health food store. They offer many healthy options, vitamins, minerals, probiotics, etc. They also have a good selection of gluten-free items. Very nice deli also. Their honey selection is top of the line.

My number one place to go for all my organic needs. I go there so often that I know most of the employees. It might be a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I rather pay a little more for organic food than pay less for cheap food. This lassens is a little smaller than other lassens but its still a great little spot!

Great health food place. But I’ve gotten some rotten goods here before. Luckily I was able to take it back. 5 stars for service, but an overall 4 because of the inconvenience.

A bewildering array of supplements and OTC medication. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They often have sales and discount promotions, but still eye-wateringly expensive for most items.

Super helpfull staff, wide selection of natural supplements, just be sure to read labels and warnings.

Great selection for the size of the store. Have been going here for years, the collard green wrap is amazing! The supplement department and the beauty department are the best around.

This place is special. If they dont have what your looking for they will order it. Great place but if your hungry and stop by for lunch at their deli, expect to be late getting back to work - unless you know what you want and call ahead.

Great little store! Had most eco/green/vegan brands we buy at Whole Foods. Deli had good selection of hot items. No outdoor tables or picnic area to eat. Also dont bring in small children-too many breakable things and small aisles.

Need organic? Every bit of Sprouts and more packed into this tiny gem of a grocery store right in the heart of Santa Maria, CA. They even have an awesome soup and sandwich counter (Sudo deli) in the back that will satisfy the vegan palette.

I like the idea of the place, but its quite pricey. Plus, found some items that were past expiration date on the shelf so shop carefully and check dates!

We are fortunate to have a store of this quality in this area, with the selection of organic produce vitamin, homeopathic selection and healthy groceries There is a nice deli even inside, also serving up fresh juices and soups.

I enjoy shopping for my supplements at Lassens Natural Food. I always get a 10 percent discount for my moms supplements . The vitamin guy Juan is always there to provide knowledge about each supplement. This helps out so much!

Went in here and was glared at by the employees and discriminated. I was followed everywhere at all times, it wasnt as if I had a large bag on me, all I had was a small purse. One of the most degrading experiences that Ive ever felt. Horrible service!!
