Quality product at decent prices. Giant canvases for not so giant prices. Got me making a mess at Roze Artz. I will be spending allot if money here this summer.

There disabilities and alternative friendly too if any of the more goth metal rocker punker artist. Wonder cus often times people forget to. Mention if a place distrimates people who are alternative. There helpful if you have a disability I have autism spectrum and might need extra help sometimes locating stuff when I used to go here alot there cool and helpful and dont distrimate against that.the art selection is usually huge and they have a big selection of stuff.nice art supplies .

I dont know whats its like there on a day-in, day-out basis, but on this day, they were unprepared for the first day of school business, using only one of three registers, and customers were quite angry at the wait times to check out. Which wasnt helped by the manager responding to them in a pretty curt manner. Its a premium-priced store, like most in Santa Monica, and locals expect premium customer service. In my case, I was helped by a short, hip-looking young lady who expertly knew the stores products and layout and basically acted as my own personal shopper. She rapidly helped me fill my list, after I had spent much time unable to find almost everything on the list. So I personally was thrilled, but I overheard the manager telling employees not to help customers with lists, anymore. I presumed that was to better staff the registers, but they still only operated of them.

They have most of the art supplies youd want, but can get expensive fast. Employees are very helpful and friendly.

Legit Art Supply. Glad that this location is in my neighborhood.There is another location a bit further east. Across the board they have pretty consistent product and service at all of their locations.Great service and great product knowledge.Ive bought a number of items from this location. Everything from brushes, paint, spray paint, canvas, specialty paper you name it.Really great store with knowledgable workers.Really quality products too. The paints I purchased from here were exactly what i needed and more. Superb selection of colors and finishes.The brushes were amazing as well. Just about every possible variation i could think of.Really great store. glad that its around.If you are an artist and have never been, you need to come check it out

My daughter loves coming here for their good deals and coupons! Always a great experience with the staff. Very neat and clean inside. However outside I have experienced some transient people walking just outside. Be careful. But this wont keep us from coming back! 😁

I can always rely on Blick to carry what ever art thing I need. This location is pretty standard as far as Blicks go, but what makes it 5 stars is the staff. No matter who I have asked for help, every single employee has gone above and behind to help me find something, and if they dont have an answer they will go find someone else. I will drive an extra ten minutes to go to this Blick solely because of the staff.

This store has a lot of supplies and very friendly employees. Omar helped me find some greeting cards and Lindsay assisted me so kindly at the cashier. Laura had a great attitude and was knowledgeable. She walked around the store with me and my art supply list in order to find everything I needed to succeed. Laura did a fantastic job. I hope that she gets a raise or a bonus.

I shopped from here for the first time and was greeted by a wonderful staff that helped my every need. Everyone was happy to help and the store had great vibes! The violet-haired cashier, Holly, was relaxed, helpful and charmingly funny. I had such a great experience I even got a blick card, which she filled out as fast as I could blink! The prices are way better than Michael’s and so’s the service.Perfect 10/10 👌🏻

This store is fantastic. the manager emery is the best. he has a vast knowledge of all the art supplies and more. many questions about specific supplies and how to use them. or what items will work better for a project he was very helpful with what to use and how to use better. and the prices here are very good too.

I like Blick because they have pretty much anything an artist needs. I do however wish that they sourced more unique vendors. While they have a wide variety of brands and materials, I see the same ones at every other art store.

Great place with a good amount of art supplies, but a bit smaller than the Santa Monica location. Although supplies can be pretty cheap when theyre on sale, usually pricier than some other places I buy supplies at. Overall worth going to though

I visited Blick Art Materials and found the selection to be excellent. I found the store to be well stocked, well organized, and well kept. As a person who worked in retail I know how much effort it takes to maintain and staff a location. There were staff members available to assist the customers with their questions.

Just wanted to drop a note to tell all what a wonderful experience my family and I had at this location. Running around on the weekends with a four and ten year old in tow is a daunting experience, especially in a shop so full of colorful toys for artful children. The staff took time to speak with them, answer questions, as well as generally make them feel welcomed and, dare I say, peers in the art world. Their web match policy is top notch. That, paired with a 20% off coupon kicked over to me for assisting with an operational inquiry on an item Id previously purchased, made for a surprisingly competitive cost that will have me returning very, very soon!

This is what a Blick should be- a huge collection of art supplies. Ive been in many Blicks, and for the size of this one, they really utilized every inch of space they could. Its hard to compare them to any other art store since their approach of bulk ordering caters to the professionals with large quantity needs they have almost killed off all competition nation wide.Stuff is usually knowledgeable though.Prices are good but the company is full of it. They have as many nic nacks as paint tubes.Go to artist and Craftsman if you can afford the extra few dollars

The place was really clean,the staff had really good accountability with customers as the same as other Blick Art Materials branches,the store was really big and many different Art stuff were available as different types of colors,brushes,markers and...also probably it would be my next Art shopping selection for next time.

This is hands down one of the best art stores I have seen. I am an artist, so always on a hunt for a great one. This one is!It has huuuge size paper, foam boards, canvases etc. Ver approachable, engaging & helpful staff - at least 3-4 people asked me if I needed any help, in the ~30min I was there. I did need advice & got it, most time before even getting the chance to start looking for staff.I did not like that the markers were locked, but being right on the cusp of Venice & Santa Monica, on Lincoln Blvd, I am sure they get stolen blind, so I did not mind. Plus the girl apologized for the procedure, which did make a difference to me.I also found professional clear sleeves for all sizes of artwork, professional archival presentation boards, a lot of treasures, I think this is my new favorite store ❤️❤️

Great art supply store! they have a vast selection of goods for crafters and artisans alike, and very friendly staff. however, the prices can be a bit steep compared to amazon and similar competitors. while the price disparity is most likely due to the costs associated with maintaining a brick and mortar store, the fact remains that their prices are not the best. this is mitigated by sales and promotions...so keep an eye out! you never know what you might find :)

The space is large but it is crowded not by people but the tried to put everything together so unless you know where everything is its difficult to find things. Its not very clear where things are so you have to ask someone and with only a couple employees they seem to always be busy. However the employees do know a lot so they will be helpful with any questions that you may pose. Its an ok art store but probably the best in the area unless your willing to go for a drive.

I went in to buy about 12 different cans of spraypaint and left empty handed due to the way I was adressed about my bike being in the store (I dont like to drive to places close to my home)..bummer.
