Morgan has taught my two kids to play violin since they were beginners several years ago. She is patient, encouraging, and incredibly detail-oriented. For the younger kids, she emphasizes proper technique to produce better playing. Due to Morgan’s training, my kids have a great ear for music and play well from memory. My daughter has participated in Certificate of Merit exams for the past two years and done well with Morgan’s guidance. My kids enjoy performing at the recitals and also seeing everyone’s progress each semester because it motivates and inspires them to reach their next “vision piece.” They especially like to attend group class where they learn music theory and play pieces together with the other kids – it is definitely a highlight of Morgan’s studio!
Morgan is amazing with young violin learners. My 6-year-old daughter took group lessons with her and I immediately noticed her confidence and enjoyment of violin increase. Morgans classes are engaging and fun. I highly recommend her as a teacher!
Morgan has sold us on the value of Suzuki group classes when paired with individual lessons. Group class (even virtually) definitely increased my 7 year olds interest in and motivation to play and practice violin. Morgan is super knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend!
Miss Morgan was exactly what my son needed and his skills have increased so much since lessons with her began. It’s been two years now with her and we couldn’t be happier.
My daughter started out learning violin with Morgan and after a year when she was ready to advance to a larger instrument, she transitioned to viola and is extremely happy with the decision. Now 2 years later, Morgan has introduced all sorts of opportunities for her to play and participate in various orchestras and competitions that are appropriate for elementary school aged children. Morgan is a fantastic teacher in that she is very understanding and communicates technique with my daughter in a way that keeps her motivated and its exciting to watch!
Our daughter moved to Morgan about three years ago and we noticed a sharp improvement in her violin skills. Her tone, rhythm, and musicianship skills have all soared. She has joined the higher orchestra and her school and is now in the highest. And more importantly, she loves going to her lessons and has often asked for more.
