Def. A place for breakfast.We are vegetarian so we had the vegetarian sandwich with avocado and the veggies. It was awesome with the jalapeno and garlic bagels.

Came here around noon on a Saturday. They have a parking lot in the back and luckily, we beat the rush. I ordered an everything bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon. My boyfriend ordered turkey, pepperoni, and bacon on a plain bagel. Our food was ready just minutes later. Both were exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to try the hash brown, but they were out. The staff was very friendly, kept everyones orders moving (despite the line being almost out the door) and kept everything spotless. There are 2 tables in the back, a couple inside and out front. Most people ordered to-go. Will happily come back and recommend to friends.

Will definitely come again.I have to edit my review here... they always made other prices and tried to betray us. We have been here three times and they always changed what we had to pay by ordering always the same stuff. By asking them they did not even to excuse their mistakes and it was hard to get some of our money back we payed too much.And to say it loud and clear this was not a mistake but absolutely their will to rip off our money. Unbelievable. And laughing about us stupid tourist. No word of regret.We are not used this. Take care of what you order and check your balance carefully!!

They are SUPER nice and make a SOLID turkey bagel sandwich. It was perfect! Lots of excellent turkey. Just the right ratios. I was excited to score some day old bagels. Ill have a couple toasted tomorrow & bagel chips are in my future. Cant wait to go back!

As close as you can get to a real New York Bagel. I love them hot and will eat them with nothing on them. This is the best Bagel shop in Los Angeles hands down.

Nice group of people serving up not too chewy and not too dense bagels (aka they’re just right!). Good selection, good prices, very cool operation. Got a bakers dozen and the group loved all of them :)

This place is amazing. I was over the moon when I drove by and spotted this amazing bagel and sandwich deli. I cant believe I drove by it all these years and missed it. The place is bustling with happy customers. The aroma of fresh bagels fills the air. The bagels are crisp on the outside and soft and chewy perfection inside. Nothing beats a locally owned bagel shop that actually makes its own bagels in site. It reminds me of all the years as a kid being excited by the brown paper bag filled with fresh bagels. They have a variety of fresh cream cheeses, cookies and parking in the back. Dont forget to try the beialy, I actually ate it driving back home. One bite and it was all over. The staff is friendly and so welcoming. There are chairs to eat inside and out. I hear they make an amazing sandwich so I will be going back soon for sure.

Ohh yeah, this is the place to go for a good NY bagel. They nailed the vibe even down to the line out the door and the hustle of the bagel masters.

Being from the Tri State area I take my bagels very seriously. I must say, the fresh made bagels did not disappoint. I think this is closest to a NY/NJ bagel you can get.

I consider myself to be a bagel afficienado and I will declare this place as having some of the best bagels in the country! Im from the east coast and have to NYC a million times. They have great bagels in NYC for sure but this place hangs with the best there. I live in San Diego and we never go to LA with hauling bagels back from this place. NB The onion bagels are the best!

Worst customer service! I was harrassed by their employee at the parking lot they shared with their next door restaurant Kanpai right after I parked my car. The employee (photo of this car) threatened me and said he would follow me to Kanpai to make sure I dine there. Really?! After I confronted the manager in the store, another customer approached me and said he had seen these incidences many times and people all know they have the worst attitude! Avoid this store!

I tryed NY bagels for the first time.Very good fresh tasting bagels.They have Boars Head meats for sandwiches.They have a nice variety of locks.I am going to continue to come back.I went back bought a Bakers Dozen.My Cinnamon Raisin Bagel was still warm when I ate it at home.

I may not get to New York City but the bagels here were fantastic! Make me feel very New York. I even took a pic next to young Frankie Sinatras face!Friendly service great food, good prices...what more can you ask for!Next time Im in town, will be back!

Finding an authentic tasting NY bagel outside of NY is pretty tough. Here, youll find fresh bagels but its not going to be a NY bagel. The everything bagel has good flavor. Nice variety to choose from and a parking lot so you dont have to deal with SM parking restrictions

Went here for years before I moved from the area. Revisited today and the place is still the same. Great quality stuff, fresh as can be. Always turning out warm bagels. Nothing sits for long. Bagels are a way of life for New Yorkers and this place isnt only staffed but frequented by New York expats.

I’m not a bagel expert but I know a good bagel and a good bagel shop. If you’re looking for the NY bagel taste and experience, welcome home. The deli sandwiches are served with Boars Head everything and the salads in the window are spot on!

Skip the day olds get the fresh bagels...worth it I recommend the everything bagels, and skip the day olds go for the fresh pack, it makes a difference.

If I can give no stars I will, went there from work with my friend T, ordered an onion bagel sandwich with sausage and Swiss; when I got to my hotel, the sausage and cheese was missing, I called; they told me to come back and they will remake it; when I got back the guy had an attitude and told me don’t push, I said screw you and I left. So it’s my fault you screwed my order. I raise my hands to God, but I guess if I was Caucasian I will be treated with much respect.

This place is great. Eat there probably a couple times a week. Great Staff super friendly. Its always nice going there and having a pleasant experience. They even gave me a card that gets stamped each time I order. When I nine sandwiches the tenth one is free. Theyre all Awesome. Oh and the food is always fresh and super yummy.

This place is legit. I always get their breakfast bagels, roast beef or ham with egg and cheese. The deluxe bagel with Lox (cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, and capers) is actually really good. I have to admit the east coast (specifically NY and Jersey) does the Lox better than LA but the Lox bagel here is worth trying. It wont disappoint for you Lox fans!

I tried this place for lunch one day. Its a nice small place and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered a basic inexpensive sandwich special. Despite it being something basic, it was really good. I will definitely go back and try more.

I forgot how good this place was but when Noah s Bagels in Santa Monica closed, I rediscovered it and an glad I did. Poppy seed bagels are my favorite.

Love this place... Have been coming here for 10+years. Food amazing, staff great! I am posting this review because recently there were price changes which are astronomical. If you buy the lox bagel breakfast sandwich it is $9.If you buy the lox bagel deli sandwich it is $13.95. ( it comes with chips and a pickle, which had the value of 1.75)So basically they are overcharging by $3.20.....Its ridiculous. If you go there please buy your chips and pickle separately....... As for me, Im headed to bagel Nosh. I cant support price gouging esp at a place that has so many loyal customers.

Had an awesome roast beef bagel sandwich which was exceptional. Lots of meat, the freshest bagles. Super staff who were patient and listened to my requests. Clean and excellent coffee choices

Very good but not inexpensive

I missed the American style of bagel for breakfast with lots of cream cheese on top and this place is the best choice i made. Others were having sandwiches and stuff but I tried the very basic bagels and yes they were good. One thing is though that their coffee even with 2 shots were not very tasty. I could not tell if ut was coffee or coffee taste water.

Ive been coming here for the past 5 years, not because of your particularly great food--your breakfast sandwiches always lack substance (scrimp on the meat much??) and bagels taste a day old--but because you are a local business that employs minorities.You saw me standing at the counter to be rung up, there was nothing else going on at 9AM after the morning rush, and yet you rang up a guy who came in long after me, ordered and casually handed you his CC without any care of there being a line. That guy may need to work on his self awareness, but you lost my business right then and there.Work on your service. It lacks intention, just like your food.

Had the everything bagel with cream cheese and avocado. First time and it will not be the last time. Bought a baguette for my mom, she loved it. Whenever I am in the area. I will be back. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Best bagels on the west coast

Ive been coming here since they opened and it sure has the best bagel in Santa Monica. The last few times Ive been there unfortunately I did not get my bagel as ordered. I am not sure if they changed their toasters or just the way they process orders. Hopefully I can steer him back to making the bagel the way Id like it not the way they see it fit for me

By far the best bagels on the West Coast. I am not connected with them but a lifetime bagel maven from Brooklyn and a devout customer. These are just heavy enough to be called bagels (not white bread). With a firm (crisp if toasted) crust. Get them in the morning when theyre fresh. You will feel like youre back in NY.

Hands down beat bagels in Los Angeles! I have been coming here since I was a kid and cant stay away!

Really great New York food with a slightly standoffish attitude to match. The food is really tasty with everything you would expect from a New York deli. The meats are sliced fresh and the bagels are boiled daily. The wait can be a little much sometimes but if youre not in a hurry its well worth it.

Really hit the spot. Excellent matzo ball soup. Bagel w/cream cheese, iced coffee. Clean, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.

This place has the best sandwiches! Double decker sandwiches are around $15 with macaroni or potato salad and drink. Well worth it for a half pound Boars Head meat sandwich. Bagels are $1.25. They alsohave great sourdough bread

I am so outraged by this business. First of all, Ive been a few times and loved the service and food. This morning, I got there when they opened because I had a large order for work. Well, the individual who helped me was rude, put out, and literally charged my credit card 5 times! She impressed upon me her frustration with me being there so early. Instead of calling her out on it, I apologized (that is my fault). I want to lodge an official complaint in writing with the business, but theres no WEBSITE OR EMAIL ADDRESS. Never going back again.

Growing up in New York, I always took good bagels for granted. When I moved to Los Angeles, I was surprised when I couldnt find a decent bagel anywhere. Every bagel Ive had here was nothing more than bread shaped like a bagel. Oh how I have missed New York bagels.That is until I stumbled upon this place. Their bagels contain that familiar crunch of a freshly baked bagel, along with that chewy inside. The only thing missing is the egg everything bagel on their menu. They are the best bagels I have had in Los Angeles, and its not even close.

Great bagels, lox, cream cheese. This is the real deal! Seriously. Check the ingredients on super market cream cheese. Guar gum! Not in NYB cream cheese. Their lox is outstanding and the bagels are the best. Better than Zuckys (although Zs is sorely missed).
